Closing documents makes Illustrator 2020 to hang (24.3)
On Windows 10 (v 1909) when closing a document (previously saved, or opened without any change, or a new empty document) Illustrator hangs and is unresponsive for 5-20 sec.
This is happening after update.
Photoshop had the same problem, but the hanging time reduced after the newest updates.2 votes -
Text locks after resizing
When I resize a single line text object with the selection tool, the text becomes immediately locked, and I'm unable to click on it to move or resize it further. The only way to select the object is to CMD+2 every other object and then select all. Even then, the text can't be moved/resized, just deleted.

Bottom docked panel gets collapsed when toggling Full Screen Mode
Bottom panel (Currently Layers or Artboards) disappears in Full Screen mode. Opening manually from Window > Layers or hotkey (F7) does not work. Will also disappear when a panel directly above is selected. Need to select the panel at top of stack to make the bottommost panel appear.

It didn't open, there' s a message of unknow error
I just subscribed, installed all the desired programs, including illustrator, and it just won't open, I don't know what's going on, I've reinstalled it about 5 times but the same error appears, I need help.

Memory Error when using alt key to duplicate or pull from libraries
I am using windows 10 on a pc. This is in regards to adobe 2021
When I go to duplicate an object using the alt key, I get an error message saying I do not have enough memory to complete the action. I also can't use the alt key to drag things from my libraries. I do not get this message when I use ctrl C and ctrl V. I also do not get this message if I right-click on the items in my library and place them. It's only when I use the alt key function.

Save/Save As doesn't work in Action
- Make a new document
- Record a new Action for Save (CMD+S) and Save As (Shift+CMD+S), stop Action
- Do something in the document - Draw the rectangle for example
- Play Save/Save As Action
- Close the document (Attention!!! No warning about Save Changes!!!)
- Open the document
Result: Opened document doesn't contain the rectangle.
That means nothing happened with this document while Play ActionsIllustrator ver. 24.0.2
It is the critical issue and my suggestion to downgrade Illustrator to 24.0.1, if you use "Save/Save as" and "Close" commands in Actions in your work12 votesHi

24.2.3 → 24.3 アップデートすると、一般の単位がptにリセットされる
Windows10 / 1909 / 18363.959
24.2.3 から 24.3 へアップデートしたら、環境設定の単位の一般と線でmmの設定が、Illustrator起動毎にptにリセットされてしまいます。
設定ファイルの再作成を行っても、環境設定ファイル全体の再作成を行っても解決されません。
解決出来ないので現在は24.2.3で使用しています。2 votes -

Text Cursor in Medium Light mode is invisible
The text cursor and the click+drag selection box are the same color as the background outside of an artboard if the User Interface is set to Medium Light mode. They are completely invisible.

Illustrator not deleting .tmp files after upgrades to Catalina
We've recently started upgrading our users to Catalina, and since then multiple people have reported Illustrator is creating .tmp files that can't be deleted. We've turned off Save in Background, Export in Background, optimize saving for slow networks, and Saving Cloud documents. The issue seems to be intermittent, we haven't been able to find a pattern.
When it makes these files, they can't be deleted in Finder.

Traductions manquantes lors de certains démarrage
Bonjour,
Lorsque j'ouvre un projet enregistré sur mon ordinateur ou un document en effectuant l'action : clique droit => ouvre avec => Illustrator CC 2020 le projet (ou le document) s'ouvre dans un Illustrator qui n'est pas complétement traduit en Français.
Si les barres de menus sont bien traduites ainsi que le contenu des menus ; les options se trouvant dans le ruban de droite sont encore écrites en anglais (onglets Propriétés / Bibliothèque ...).
Je vous joins un fichier pour constater le problème.

Blur effect is not resized (with the option "Resize strokes and effects" selected)

In the latest version cursor keys are now moving the selected objects/nodes 2 pixels instead of 1
Up until 24.2.1 if I selected an object or node and hit the cursor keys they would move 1 pixel in the direction of the key. Now all of a sudden they move 2. makes trying to align/tweak the position of objects/nodes really difficult and painful
1 voteThis often happens when we open Preferences and accidentally press Up or Down arrow key. The very first field focused in the dialog is Keyboard Increment value, and pressing an arrow makes it either zero (which turns into the smallest allowed value of 0.0001) or 2 (if you had 1).
Open Preferences and change the value back.

Freeform gradient locking spot color
If you use a spot color in a freeform gradient the swatch becomes locked, so you can't change the name or merge/delete the swatch.

Toolbar missing on right hand side
My toolbar on the right hand side is missing. The drop down window at the top is also not working, it is stuck on Typography. I can't choose Essentials or reset.

Changing/removing "View using GPU/CPU" does not take effect.
I use the command + e shortcut for another function, but no matter how many times i remove or change this shortcut from "View using GPU/CPU" it immediately reverts back.
1 voteIt got resolved by assigning the new shortcut for 'View using GPU/CPU' / removing the old. Can be treated as a solution, but it’s still unclear how Illustrator allowed two identical hotkeys exist at the same time (usually a warning gets displayed, and the older command gets blanked). So if anyone has the same problem — please comment.

Select all doesn't work unless you clic anywhere first
I can't select all anymore unless I clic somewhere first.
I have to vectorise many Illustrator files and my keyboard shortcuts make it happens fast. Until an update forces me to clic somewhere first, if not, the keyboard shortcut simply don't work. That was not the case before.
I'm on windows 10 and last Ai version (25.0.1 64 bit)

Multiple Bugs in Illustrator_Mac Os Catalina 10.15.7
I'm reporting all of these bugs I'm considering asking for a refund my money back for the last months CC Subscription as it the software has been that unreliable.
Illustrator
Align function not working, can't align 3 pieces of text to baseline it leaves the 1st piece if text completely out off the alignment. I tried cutting and pasting the piece of text but still it will not align.
Strokes not showing properly round on curves they appear to have extra anchor points, which there aren't when you inspect It closer. This is making simple curves look off.
