25.0.1 Colour still wrong
NOT AN IDEA—A BUG!
The colour settings are still incorrect in the newest update.
Totally unusable software, so back to version 24 again.The image on the right is correct from version 24. How that file displays in 25.0.1 is in the middle and the image on the left is the same jpeg as on the right imported into 25.0.1…!!!!
3 totally different interpretations of the same colour. Insane.

Appearance: Empty Stroke blocks Fill
When applying a colour to a selection, sometimes this has no effect. While both the Color and the Appearance panel reflect the chosen colour, the object doesn't.
Most of the time the (unlogical) cause seems to be a Stroke without colour.
When changing the order in Appearance to having the Fill on top, the colour appears.Please make an uncoloured stroke of no influence on underlying fills.

Dragging a bounding box corner rotates instead of scaling
I recently updated to the latest version and at the same time discovered this issue. When moving my mouse over to the corner or center of an object, to grab those white scaling boxes, i am given the icon to scale said object, however when i click and drag the object rotates instead. its very frustrating as all icons and tool use indicates it should scale but surprise it rotates.

CC 2021 freezing on or right after start after working just fine for 3 weeks
Hello,
I worked for 3 weeks just fine with PS, AI and InDesign (all CC 2021) and then one evening the applications won't open again. They are freezing when starting up or crashing right after the start. I have changed nothing on my system, have installed no new software or anything I could imagine causing this behavior. Looking for help I browsed the internet and found that for many people only reinstalling the CC2020 applications helped. So I did that because I had work to finish. CC Libraries doesn't work and has a black partial background

Cannot Export Print Quality PNG from Illustrator 2021 Mac OS Catalina
Every time I try to export my large print quality files from Illustrator as .png, I get an error message. The Operation Cannot Complete Because of an Unknown Error [!now] I am trying to maintain the 300dpi quality because this is how my printer accepts files. (As .png.) My Illustrator file is 10000 x 10000 pixels at 300 dpi. I have tried it as 150 dpi and all of the export settings and always get the error message. Align Object Buttons missing from Touch Bar
I have a 2016 Macbook pro with a Touch Bar and with this last update of illustrator the align buttons aren't showing up on the Touch Bar when I click on the align icon. "Align to" is showing up but none of the actual align buttons. I used these buttons all of the time and it really speeds up my workflow.

AI files opening as old versions
Illustrator is intermittently not properly saving my files and is opening old versions of the AI file.
This is my workflow:
Create design and save AI file. Save PDF file and send to client. Receive amends, open AI file and amend + save. Save PDF file and send to client.
Repeat until the design is approved.
At this point I open the AI file and prepare the print files for production.
However, the AI file is opening as an older version and does not have the latest amends saved. This is costing us £100s in incorrectly manufactured items.

Quick Preview on Mac is not Working
On Mac with the new Big Sur update, my Illustrator files show up as just the Illustrator logo and it does not preview any artboards.
Also, when pressing the spacebar, a wheel starts turning, then just the logo pops up. There is no file preview it seems after the Big Sur update.

Page selection when opening a PDF
This is should be beyond trivial to correct, and there are users all over the place asking for this in a different issue report:
Please fix the UI for page-selection when opening a PDF in Illustrator!
Browsing through the thumbnails at the top of the dialog should automatically select that page to open below. It is bad UX to scroll through the pages to find the one that you want and then have to manually enter it below---I can't think of a single reason to have these UI elements disconnected (as they presently are), and there's no reason not to…3 votes -

Why did you take away the ability to easily highlight the document name, width or height when creating a new file? Super irritating.

The Stacked Bar Graph tool doesn’t add up correctly in Illustrator 2021.
I’m designing a publication with lots of data. These figures have to be absolutely correct, since they’re economical and official. I noticed that the Stacked Bar Graph tool doesn’t produce bars of equal length and doesn’t align on the right. There are notable differences even though all my data add up to 100 and have three decimals.
What a shock, if anything should be correct this is it.

Overprint check stays on, even when overprinting object is deselected. This causes confusion when printing.

New Layer button change now inserts new layer BELOW active layer
With the addition of the button for adding a new Sub Layer, the current button for adding a New Layer now adopts the same behavior of adding a layer BELOW the current active layer, opposite to what was legacy behavior before.
I checked, and dragging a layer to the New Layer button to make a copy still deposits the new layer copy ABOVE the current active layer, so something isn't right with the new change.That said, nice new option I didn't realize was there in the New Sub Level button, convenient, thank you.

Recolor artwork modal panel stays in place
The new recolor art modal panel doesn’t remember it’s previous position and always appears in the center of my window. Is this expected ?

Everytime I open Illustrator the toolbars are missing
Everytime I open Illustrator the toolbars are missing, even if I redefine the mode (classic, essentials, layout) they still don't appear. So everytime I have to go to window and add manually, which works, but if I close I have to do it all over again.
