1. クラウドドキュメントで文字スタイルを削除した後開き直すと削除した文字スタイルが表示される

   環境
   macOS 12.6.3
   Illustrator 26.5.2 および 27.3.1

   再現方法
   1. 新規書類を作成し文字スタイルを作成しクラウドドキュメントとして保存する。
   2. 1で作成した文字スタイルを削除してドキュメントを閉じる。
   3. 閉じたクラウドドキュメントを開くと削除したはずの文字スタイルが表示される

   ただし1で作成したクラウドドキュメントを開きその文字スタイルを編集したり新たな文字スタイルを追加した後に削除した場合はそのクラウドドキュメントを開き直しても削除した文字スタイルは表示されませんでした。

   クラウドドキュメントのみで発生する事象でコンピュータに保存したドキュメントでは発生しないことを確認しています。

2. When checking spelling, Illustrator does not move to the selected area of the page making it harder to see the "error" in context.

   Have the viewable are move to the offending spelling like it does with InDesign.

4. Random text disappearing from box

   Big Sur 11.4
   Adobe Illustrator 25.3.1

   When I open some of my ai files the text inside a text box disappears. If I try to create a new text box to replace that text it keeps disappearing. This only happened to me after updating to Big Sur. It's extremely frustrating as I haven't found a way to work around it.

   First photo is how it appears when I look at a preview of the ai file before opening, second photo is what it looks like when I open the file. (Don't mind the black lines, I wanted to keep that info private)

5. Illustrator not outlining type correctly

   I've only started to encounter this recently and it doesn't happen with all fonts. When I outline certain typefaces - such as your Source Sans - it outlines parts of some letters individually, such as the bar in the letter 'A' in the attached example, or does some bizarre detour as seen in both the comma and the apostrophe (the two most typical examples I could think of).

   All I am doing is outlining type with no stroke.

   I'm running Illustrator 24.3 and Catalina 10.15.6

6. Can't move text along path - vertical line handles missing

   The vertical lines that usually show up when pushing text along the path is missing. Even when using Direct Selection Tool, there are no handles to control the direction and placement of text along a path which is very frustrating.

8. Create Outline shortcut is not working

   I'm not sure when this started happening but CTRL + SHIFT + O isn't working as a command for create outlines.

   Notes:

   All other key commands work fine

   My O key isn't broken

   The command is still correct in preferences

   Doing "Create Outlines" from the menu works just fine.

   I've tried reselecting, restarting, multiple documents. It's simply not working, It's very weird.. anyone?

9. Pasting a text makes it loose its formatting

   mac OS 10.14.3 running AI 23.0.2

   The issue seems to be random and can't replicate every time.

   If I copy a group formed by a path and text sometimes, when pasting, the path is expanded (?) and the text loses its format.

   When pasting "in Front" or "in Back" sometimes works but ussually pastes in the left upper corner of the artboard.

   When pasting a text in any possible way (in Front, in Back, in Place ... ) all format is missing.

   The result is a little task consuming double or more time as the expected, delaying my performance and productivity. Plus the frustration that comes with it.

10. Type Box fills with x's

    When I choose the Type Box tool, and click in the document to create a Type Box or simply place text, as soon as the box is created, it fills with X's/squares and goes off on it's own continually typing the X/square.

    At that point I am not touching the keyboard, there is no key being held down, yet it seems to be "stuck" in creating the X/square.

    Initially it only happened with Myriad Pro, so I uninstalled that font. Then it continued to do it with Arial. Now it does it, no matter what. I've un-installed Illustrator and re-installed and am still dealing with the same issue. I've attached a video here. You'll see the first time I go to type, it does it.

    Then, I create a new box and it does not do it. It works normally.

    I create another box, and it starts doing it again. I am not touching the keyboard or any keys when the x/square boxes go off on their own.

    When I do try to continue typing, you'll see the text continue to run away even when parts of words appear, the x/square shows up in the middle.

    Version: 10.0
    System Architecture: x64
    Built-In Memory: 8097 MB

11. Text missing in SVG files

    This is the first time trying to use Illustrator since it updated to the newest version (23.0.1) and updating my Mac to High Sierra (10.14). I have previously used Illustrator to edit SVG files, specifically the text in those files. When I open similar SVG files in the new Illustrator, all of my text is missing. My computer is due for a small update which will go through later tonight but this seems like a bug within Illustrator. When I open the SVG in Photoshop 2019 and re-export it as a SVG, I am able to see the text in Illustrator when I import that file, but I can't select anything in the field since Photoshop's manipulated the original vectors. I really don't want to manually add in all my missing text, does anyone have any suggestions? On the picture, the left is a preview of the SVG and the text is visible. On the right, is the SVG in Illustrator with the text missing.

12. Typing in Hebrew it RTL

    Whenever I try typing in Hebrew the letters go in the wrong direction, and I have no option in the paragraph pannel to change it as I know there is supposed to be. What should I do?

13. Using scale tool on justified text results in changing line breaks

    1. Illustrator CC 22.0.0 on Windows 10 x64 Pro

    2. Have a column of Area Text, justified, with carefully defined line breaks so that words are hyphenated at particular places, or not hypenated at all.

    3. When using either the scale tool (shift+click to scale proportionally) or the transform tool, all of the content should scale proportionally and the line breaks should not be changed.

    4. The resulting rescaled text column has very slight changes to the line breaks. While shift+dragging, the text looks correct (just scaled proportionally, without any reflow or stretching), but when releasing the mouse, there is suddenly some text reflow on some of the lines. This destroys some very carefully set line breaks. What I want to happen is to make the text column larger with the line breaks exactly the same. This is not an issue of just scaling the text box, the text itself is also changing size - but not accurately. Checking/unchecking the "scale strokes and effects" in the transform dialog doesn't have any effect. The most frustrating thing is that once I have scaled to a new size (with the broken flow), scaling seems to work just fine - I can use the scale tool to proportionally scale the text with the "wrong" line breaks. It doesn't come up with new text flow each time.

    I suspect that Illustrator is mishandling or ignoring font tracking or kerning values when scaling.

14. Character panel (the section in Properties) doesn´t change fonts name

    AI version: last one, 22.0.1
    I typed the same words in 10 different fonts (all Google fonts), and they all look different of course, but when selecting them a second time, the font shown in the Character panel was always the same. I closed Illustrator and then it worked for few minutes, then the same issue appeared again.

    This has happened a few times to me, but is not consistent.

    When editing text in a type block I use the pointer to hi light the area where changes are required but the changes occur at a different point in the text.
    I have attached an image to clarify this - the black editing block is hi lighting the additional space I intend to delete but the actual character deleted is a few characters away (in this case the letter 'f' which shows with a blue edit line in this image - after undoing the action).

16. Text Boxes won't Scale or Flip

    1. IllustratorCC 22.0.1 running under OSX 10.12.6

    2. Select text box and either attempt to flip (Reflect tool using vertical axis) or scale using the Scale tool. Scale fails both dragging to scale, or double-clicking the Scale tool and inputting numeric scale value.

    3. Text box scales or flips horizontal, as in all previous versions of AI.

    4. Error message reading: "Can't scale the objects. The requested transformation would make some objects too large."

17. Type reverting & doing all sorts of weird things

    The new Illustrator's type feature behaves strangely. The font reverts to the 1 I chose previously when I do some things such as discard the Offset Path setting I've set for it it in the Appearance Panel.

18. Moving several points of an area type or type on path causes "undo"

    I am no longer able to move multiple anchor points for text on a path in v30 (GPU mode).
    I'm using a Studio M2 Max with MacOS 15.5..

    The attached video demonstrates this behavior. I have two duplicate paths. While using "View using GPU" I try to edit multiple nodes on the text path. What happens is:

    1. the preview of the path disappears while I'm trying to move the nodes.
    2. the entire line moves, even though I've only selected a few nodes.
    3. my type was replaced with the "Lorem Ipsum" text (this happens intermittently, not every time).

    But, when I switch to "View using CPU" the program functions normally.

    This is something I do very frequently, and I typically have GPU mode on, so this is a new behavior.

    I tested this on other installed versions of Illustrator:

    On v29.8.2 I am able to move multiple nodes, but the preview of the path still disappears while you're moving it. Switching to CPU mode corrects that.

    On v.28.7.2 Everything works normally, both in GPU and CPU modes.

    Edit: After posting this, I now believe that this might be related to the setting "Real-Time Drawing and Editing". Turning that off "seems" to fix things (for both v30 and v29).

    But it should be noted, in 28.7.2 I CAN keep "Real-Time Drawing and Editing" enabled AND use GPU mode and everything functions fine.

19. Upon reopening Ai files, it shows that fonts are missing when they aren't

    To fix the "error" I have to navigate to Adobe fonts, uninstall each font one by one, as uninstalling a font family all at once doesn't fix the issue, then individually reinstall each font. Super tedious and taxing to workflow. Issue is across multiple files, all that I have created on the same device that presents the "missing font" dialogue so I know it isn't a file issue. Please fix.

20. HEX Franklin Variable Font is Not Visible when Editing

    I am on a Mac running Illustrator 29.4. I am trying to use the variable OTF version of HEX Franklin, and all Adobe apps do not render the letterforms. When I try to select the variable font in the dropdown, it just defaults back to Myriad or the default typeface.

    Other variable fonts work as intended, but specifically, this one is broken. Any possible fix?
