Enough with the memory sucking "upgrades" already!
Hey Adobe, you've already forced us all to pay more for your subscription based software model now, so maybe instead of focusing so ******* building memory sucking AI generative tools for people who aren't artists, you should provide a version for the folks who don't need all this new ****. Stop messing with perfectly good and functional software that real artists want to use! Animated zoom not working on latest version 29.4 for MacBook Air M4 24GB unified memory
I am not able to animated zoom in or out after 50%. It directly jumps to 100% and gets glitchy even after that point. The same issue is happening when I try to view it in presentation mode - it just displays my art board at 50% or less or 100%. Even when I manually input the zoom percentage in the bottom left corner, it automatically jumps to 50%.
I checked GPU performance and animated zoom and made sure it's checked on.

There’s an issue with the undo function (Cmd + Z). Instead of undoing the last action, it jumps back to a much earlier point
There’s an issue with the undo function (Cmd + Z). Instead of undoing the last action, it jumps back to a much earlier point, and then it can’t be redone — it’s as if the last few steps never happened. Sometimes this also happens when saving the project, which is very problematic. It seems to occur randomly, and the only way to fix it is to close and reopen the program — but that doesn’t recover the lost actions either. I have the latest version of the app and a Macbook Pro M2 with 16gb of RAM.

Illustrator not working
When I open Illustrator the processor dramatically slows down, to the point I can't have anything else open. Photoshop, on the other hand, works fine. When I try to move my mouse in Illustrator it takes ages, the screen starts flickering when I click on something for a few minutes before I click something else and it happens again. "Other option" for text in Properties panel slow down PC

When I try to open "other option" for text in the property panel the software slow down very much, I mean it freeze for at least 10 seconds and it happens every time. If I use the usual full Text panel no problems, but normally using the Properties is easier to have all in the same place, so it's a bit frustrating.

The app is hard to open, and took 20 minutes
The app is very hard to open. It took me 20 minutes to open. But when opened, I cant even make a new file because its not responding. When I open a saved ai files, its not opening just keep on reading the file. Also I already updated the app, restarted my pc several times but still not working. its really frustrating .......

Illustrator performance, conflict with windows 11 desktop manager process
I was trying to rotate an image within illustrator and the performance was unusable. Trying to select then rotate was slow and unresponsive. Made no sense as my workstation has plenty of resources. 24core/512GBram/RTX 5000 ada. I did a quick google search and found a redit post suggesting exiting illustrator, find dwm.exe, end the process (explorer crashes then reloads, so does dwm.exe), restart illustrator. After performing these steps, illustrator was working like it should, responsive and useable.
Should not have to go through this process just to get illustrator to work correctly. Need to investigate with MS what is happening…

3D Materials Panel Causes Much Longer Document Load Times
Regarding the 3D Effects Panel in Illustrator, it seems to take nearly 20 seconds when launching a new document if in the previous session the Panel was active. If the 3D Effects panel was not active, then the document loads much faster. It would be great to have Illustrator handle the load time better.
I'm using Illustrator version 29.2.1 in MacOS WITH Sequoia 15.2 on an M4 Pro 48GB RAM.

Left mouse keeps registering double clicks in Illustrator 2025
My mouse keeps registering double clicks when I only click once. For example when I select multiple object to align to a key object, Illustrator opens up isolation mode on the key object. It is not a hardware issue as I have tried 2 other mouses, same result. I do not experience similar issues in any other programs, just Illustrator. I also reset my preferences and still the error persists. This is so frustrating as I I cannot work effectively and before I updated to 2025 version I did not have this issue. Please assist.

Ich habe seit geraumer Zeit das Problem dass Illustrator extrem langsam wird. meine Dateien sind klein un bestehen nur aus wenigen Vektor-Linien. Das Problem tritt auf, wenn ich Teile anwähle und mit Command C in die Zwischenablage kopiere. Dann wird die Darstellung ****, alles friert ein, das Rädchen dreht sich und manchmal werden die Fenster und Bedienfelder Schwarz. Nach einigen Sekunden funktioniert dann wieder alles. Constant crashing - can't even move an object
Have updated my illustrator to the most recent version 29.1.
Using Mac OS Sequoa 15.1.1 - M1.
I would make changes, scroll to another section of my frame. Return back and my changes were then 'reverted'.
Every time I open the app it lags, spinning wheel of death, and all i'm doing is trying to maybe zoom in or out, copy or move an object.
I have reverted to old versions, reinstalled etc
It's a small file, good computer with heaps of memory.
Illustrator is basically unusable at this point and can't do my work. .

Slow and Laggy on Latest OS MacOS 15.2 Beta
While using the app since the OS update (15.2 Beta (24C5089c), selecting any items is very slow and often registered as a move instead of select, pretty unable. Also flagged with Apple in case its there side.

Cannot paste screenshot without error "Not enough memory to place the file"
This started happening with the Illustrator 29, and I can confirm that I do not have this issue with the previous version of Illustrator. On Mac OS Sequoia 15.0.1. When I take a screenshot to my clipboard and attempt to paste in illustrator, I receive the error "Not enough memory to place the file." If I drag the same screenshot from the desktop, it places the link fine and can be embedded fine. Thanks.

Very laggy zooming in and out using mouse scroll since versions 28.1
I'm on Windows 11, using the newly updated AI 29.0. This has been mostly my issue since AI 28.1 onwards. I've been using AI 28.0 without any problems, but I try out every new version to see if the issue will be resolved. I have a good internet connection (700++ Mbps). I think my system has more than the minimum requirements.
For AI 28.0 - both .AI and AIC (cloud) files can be zoomed in and out using mouse scroller without any problems.

Is Illustrator running increasingly SLOW with every single update! It's not an update if the application keeps getting WORSE.

Spinning wheel when switching between documents if something is selected in the document.
I've noticed that if an object is selected in any document then switching to that document will cause the spinning wheel of death for about 5-10 seconds. If nothing is selected then the switch will happen immediately, like it should do.

Version 2025 crashes more than usual and freezes when a pen used with tablet
With the last update 2025 there have been crashes, more than usual, and when I use the pen and the graphic tablet, Illustrator freeze.
