  1. Rearrange Artboards feature does not align to pixel grid

    As per title, Rearrange Artboards feature does not align to pixel grid. First Artboard is aligned correctly to a whole number for both x and y. Run process and all artboards are then misaligned.

    I found a workaround: select all artboards and then Object > Make Pixel Perfect but workarounds do not equal function.

  3. CC Libraries don't retain Lab values of swatches

    If you create a color with Lab values in Illustrator or InDesign and add it to a CC Library, it will convert to CMYK in a new .indd doc and RGB in a new .ai file. We work in Lab 99.9% of the time, so this is super frustrating. We have a database of custom color mixes/names. It would save us a ton of time if we could use CC Libraries for this.

  4. Illustrator 2025 forgetting dialog box preferences and reverting to default settings, especially after closing or crashing.

    New update to Illustrator 2025 seems to have issues with reverting back to interface defaults as if the app was never opened.

    Example panels reverting back to default: missing fonts or font activation panel, pantone blue reminder alert strip, save dialog asking to save locally or via cloud — pretty much anything with a "don't show this again" box, Illustrator seems to forget at least a few times per week.

    It also seems to be reverting keyboard shortcut commands back to default presets, though retains custom presets — you just have to go back into the keyboard shortcuts panel and change to…

  5. Sizes of exported PNG files differ depending on the method used

    Using "Export as" and "Export to Multiple Screen Formats" to export PNG format, with the same settings, there is a significant difference in size after export.

  6. Tip popup when zooming in and out (Alt key while brush is selected)

    Whenever I zoom in and out using Alt + scroll wheel or a shortcut on my Wacom pencil, and have a Pencil or Brush selected, the smoothing tool pops up and gives this 'tip' that is obstructing my work. Turning tool tips off does not help.

    'To smooth a section, select its anchor points with the direct selection tool and adjust the slider.'

    It is really annoying, I'm not trying even trying to smooth the paths, just zooming! The tip stays on screen until I do something else, and pops back up whenever I hit alt. I know how the…

  7. Abnormal deformation coordinates of the envelope for a live text

    After the deformation of the text envelope, the mouse wheel changes the bending value and the object coordinates shift. See video:

  8. Scale Tool center point sticking to the cursor

    When using the Scale tool, when I drag the center point with the mouse (actually it happens when using the pen), it sticks to the tip of the cursor and does not go away for a while. I lower the program window down, switch to other programs, only then it is solved. The program locks at that time.

  9. Copy Paste in place puts the art at a wrong placa

    Copy/ Paste in Place does not work. I selected an Artboard, but it never got pasted into the !selected! Artboard, but in any other artboard, the original Artboard, or outside. Illustrator 2025 29.1 MacBook Pro M2, 14.6.1 (23G93)

  10. clicking on stroke color in properties box adds fill to stroke

    When trying to change stroke color, the properties box shows nothing in the RGB boxes. Clicking in them adds a fill to the stroke which is unwanted. Edit Gradient controls were buggy too

  11. Unknown error during file import

    Illustrator 2025 (29.1)
    MacBook Pro M3 16"
    MacOS Sonoma 14.7.1

    When importing I'm getting a random "Unknown error" message. Afterwich the import failes.

    This seems chipset related. When I boot Illustrator 2024 (28.7.3) in Rosetta mode, the error is gone.

  13. Dragging objects conflicts with Screen Sharing in Sonoma

    Dragging an object tries to convert it into EPS format.

  14. Paragraph style with bulletpoints doesn't apply bullets when coming from CC library

    When I make a new paragraph style with bullets or numbering in an Illustrator document, I would like to reuse that. When I copy the style to the CC library, and apply that in a new document: the bulletstyle or numbering is lost.
    Instead when I copy the textbox to the library, and place that in a new document, the paragraph styles behave identical to how they did in the original document.
    I would suggest to make an improvement there, and not break the functionality of the paragraphstyles when used in a proper way through the library.. For me this…

  15. Gaussian Blur Effect Changed in 29.1 from 29.0.1

    As previously reported in July 2020 when this happened with 24.2: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447-illustrator-desktop-bugs/suggestions/40865740-gaussian-blur-effect-producing-different-results-f

    This was last an issue with 24.2.3, and since 24.3 it had been successfully fixed with consistent results in 29.0.1.

    December 2nd, 2024: We have discovered that the issue is how the Gaussian Blur effect performs on Process vs Spot colours.

    In 29.1, Gaussian blur now produces an identical effect on both process & spot colours. We'd consider that a fix, as a designer should expect the same result no matter the colour used.

    The challenge here for Adobe is weighing "fixing the blur" vs customer legacy files.…

  17. Constant crashing - can't even move an object

    Have updated my illustrator to the most recent version 29.1.

    Using Mac OS Sequoa 15.1.1 - M1.

    1. I would make changes, scroll to another section of my frame. Return back and my changes were then 'reverted'.

    2. Every time I open the app it lags, spinning wheel of death, and all i'm doing is trying to maybe zoom in or out, copy or move an object.

    I have reverted to old versions, reinstalled etc

    It's a small file, good computer with heaps of memory.

    Illustrator is basically unusable at this point and can't do my work. .

  19. Can't add new items to my CC Libraries when working from home

    Here is my issue, I have two Mac computers both running the latest version of the Ventura operating system (13.6.7 at the time of this post), one of them is at the office and the other one is at home for work I do when away from the office.

    I have a teams account with Adobe provided by my employer. I log into CC using the same ID on both machines. On my computer at the office, I can add new items to any of my Adobe Libraries in any of the apps. However, on my home computer I can't…

  20. 2025 (29.0.1) is giving tons of errors on preview.

    I have a file with some simple multi-gradient appearance stacks that constantly throws two errors every time I load it, and every time I switch outline mode on and off. Also the document is marked as modified the instant I load it.

    Works fine on 2023. Dunno how it works on 2024, I never switched to that one. Constantly complains on 2025.

    This is happening in CPU preview mode, I would check if it's happening in GPU mode as well but I deleted 2025 before thinking about that detail.
