Sunburst shape distorted when saving Illustrator (Version 24.0.3) file to PDF
Sunburst shape distorted when saving Illustrator (Version 24.0.3) file to PDF. I have created a sunburst shape in illustrator using a circle shape, then adding a dashed like stroke. The file looks totally fine in illustrator and also when I save it as a PNG and JPG, but when I save it as a PDF the sunburst is distorted (uneven lines). I even sent an illustrator file to a printer and my prints arrived distorted, which means they had the same problem. They are also using the latest version of illustrator. Is this a bug?

Illustrator crashes when I copy/cut images with Pantones.
When I copy or cut an image in my document, my illustrator v24 crashes for some minutes.

Fonts load time
I have a page of paragraph text and select a top heading to change the font, right click to click on recent fonts window, to select one... but god help you if you accidentally mouse over fonts instead, the beach ball of death. Not sure but it takes literally 3 minutes to finally load, and I am unable to hit esc to try and exit out, it goes until it loads, waiting and waiting and waiting... so not sure if its my system or how many fonts I have loaded, speed ???? double rulers
I've isolated exactly when this occurs. If I use the preflight panel, then go into overprint preview mode, it happens when I exit overprint preview mode in the preflight panel. At that point, the top ruler becomes two rulers. It happens maybe 70% of the time. Furthermore, when this happens, the cursor becomes offset by the same size as the lower ruler. The cursor is off by something like 3/4 inch. It's easy to resolve it. Control/Y and Control/Y again and it resolves, but it keeps coming back. This only happens on my Mac which is from around 2014. 24.02 still hangs
24.02 still hangs, occurs when you try to print a file or close a file...is there any suggestions that can be made to fix this?

Print size and arrows on lines
When changing the direction of the arrow on a line, Print preview will switch to A4 even if the parameter has previously been set as A3.

Replacing file doesn’t work
When I edit the file, then choose to replace the original one, the previous one hasn't been successfully replaced. When I open it, it still the last version.

24.0.3 pencil tool is laggy and glitchy
I updated to 24.0.3 a few days ago and my pencil tool has been really fiddly ever since, with a lot of skipping of the first fraction of a second of a new stroke, and a certain amount of picking up my motions after I lift the stylus up, as well. If I undo and draw the same shape again at about half the speed, I get the shape I expect, but this really isn't sustainable in the long run for a workflow based around lots of fast Pencil tool shapes!
I've reverted to 24.0.1 and it's back to normal.…

Text in opened SVG is wrong size and outside artboard in v23.1 and v24.0.2
In newer versions of Illustrator (23.1 and 24.0.2, for example) the text in our SVG files may appear at the wrong size and outside the artboard. This incorrect text commonly appears at the top-left.
The ZIP file contains a problem SVG, a preview JPG of how it should appear, and any customer-provided files used in the design.
Also attached are copies of each version's System Info readouts and a screenshot of a problem design open in AI 24.0.2.

Shortcut Window doesn't auto close
When opening Illustrator you are welcomed by the shortcut window showing previous files and most used file creation options etc.
On Illustrator 24.0.3 and previous iterations when using the shortcut window the file opens as it should but you are left with a blank shortcut window open, which then needs to be closed. I have attached a screenshot.

Character Information in Properties Panel not appearing
When I click on any text the Character information in the properties panel immediately disappears. The character information is only visible before I click with the Text tool. This is making it REALLY difficult to work with text.

Measurements given as points
I have been working with Units set to General: Centimeters, Stroke: Centimeters, Type: Points and Grid: every 1 cm, 5 subdivisions. Suddenly this morning all measurements are in Points. I cannot work with this. The ruler is in points: useless. I have reset preferences and restarted several times.

Fill & Stroke colors & gradients selective but only previous fill visible on object
Latest Windows PC Version 10 64-bit. Adobe 2020 (24.0.2).
Everything was normal until I began drawing a regular 5-point star with green fill & black stroke (fill color doesn't really matter). Layer shows correct colors of star in layers panel but the layer folder and what's visible on screen show no change in red fill result (which was set previously). In other words, choosing different fill colors made no difference. However, stroke color can be changed. Tried other shapes with same results. (Even restarted Illustrator.)
Putting another shape on top of a previous shape caused the stroke of 2nd shape…1 voteThis happens because the top layer has a custom appearance applied to it.
To undo that, you’d have to target the layer again, open the Appearance panel, and click the 'Clear Appearance' button.

File deletes off NTFS file server
At work we use Macs running macOS 10.15.3 and Illustrator CC 2020 (24.0.3) with working files stored on a SMB (NTFS) share volume.
If we open an Illustrator file though macOS Finder window and then work on it and save the file, if the Finder window is still open it will delete the file and give an error. In order not to lose the work we have to save as with a different name. Rotate axis freezes illustrator
When trying to rotate an object at a different axis point, the arrow button then freezes and won't allow you to drop the axis point to an another area, leaving illustrator to stop working. Not sure if this is a bug in the recent update.

Illustrator randomly "Saves as..." (Bug)
As the subject line says... This behavior started only recently, occurring a couple of times a day. There is the phrase "Saving" followed by the file name which appears in shadowed Myriad type behind the save dialog. I have attached a screenshot along with my system info. Very weird and a touch unsettling. Thank you.
