  1. Importing SVG with a linked PDF inside a symbol does not work

    Normally if you open an SVG file with an image xlink:href pointing to a ai/pdf file it links and shows the file where the image is. However, if that image is inside a symbol (I found some issues with <defs> too) it does not link and is missing entirely.

  2. Exporting to tif: "An unknown error caused the operation to fail."

    Normally rebooting solves problems like this, but not this time. Cannot save my file as a tif.

  3. Illustrator freezes windows file explorer

    Ever since the last update, occasionally Illustrator will completely freeze when I'm opening a file. Additionally, after that happens, every time I try to open an adobe product file from within file explorer, it also freezes. I have to restart the system to fix this. I can double click any other file within file explorer and it will open fine, but if I try to double click on any adobe product, it doesn't matter which one, it will completely freeze. But it all starts whenever it freezes from within illustrator.

  5. Actions 'broken' 26.2.1

    Mac Mini M1
    Big sur 11.6.5
    Illustrator 26.2.1

    Trying to perform an action in a folder (save .ai to .eps) crashes illustrator at random moments, never ends.
    This action in 26.1 and before releases works perfect, same folder, same files.

  6. Find/Replace issue

    The Find/Replace function is not replacing the string I am requesting. Maybe one or two items of many will change.

    We work with hundreds of serial numbers at a time, and the working function is
    essential to timely delivery of our services. We depend on this to change several serial prefixes at a time. Now I have to individually change each single serial number manually instead of just Finding/Replacing the prefix.
    What is going on with this product? I've never had so many glitches to deal with until this product (latest version) went to Cloud. Please, please let us go…

  7. illustratorの年間契約の期限内にも関わらず、使用できなくなっている。

    illustratorの期限内にも関わらず、使う事ができない状態が続いている。起動しても、体験版を勧められる。Creative Cloud desk topでは、illustratorの新たな購入すらできない。Adobeのアプリとファイルを消したにも関わらず、何も改善されなかった。

  8. このファイルを部分的にしか読み取ることができませんでした

    「可能な限りファイルを復元しましたが、一部のコンテンツが欠落している可能性があります。」

    とエラーメッセージが出て、開くと１２ページほどあったアートボードが最初の１ページだけになっていました。
    ３０時間以上かけて作ったデータが謎のエラーで消えました・・・。

    自動保存されたデータはないのでしょうか？

  9. タッチペンを使用するとIllustratorが応答しなくなる

    OS:Windows10
    Illustrator:26.2.1

    鉛筆ツールでタッチペンを使用してオブジェクトを生成し、選択ツールに切り替えてオブジェクトを選択するとIllustratorの画面が真っ黒になり応答しなくなる。
    続けて二度発生しており、使い物にならない。

  10. various interface problems

    con l'ultima versione di Illustrator ( 26.2.1 ) sono comparsi diversi problemai di interfaccia rendento difficile lo sviluppo del lavoro.
    ad esempio:
    - impossibile muovere con le freccie da tastiera gli oggetti selezionati
    - se selezioni una guida questa scompare ricompare quando deselezionata
    - stesso problema con i punti di ancoraggio se selezionati scompaiono

  11. Not Saving

    Illustrator saving suddenly stops working. I use a shortcut for SAVE AS, EXPORT AS, SAVE A COPY and all of a sudden nothing happens when I go to save. Only saves with Save/Cmd+S. Only restarting Ai helps. It was doing this before but now it's several times a day since updating to macOS Monterey 12.3.1. (Also happens with Ps.)

  13. Stability Issues

    Illustrator is constantly crashing, I use Windows 10. I've been losing a lot of work because of it. I am forced to do the updates (can't use an older version) because I receive art from multiple artists and they all use the updated version, and the "older versions" can't open the newer version.... WHEN ARE YOU GUYS GOING TO FIX THIS???!!!

  14. パスのアウトラインで線幅が変わる

    796.49 mmφで0.3㎜線幅のパスのアウトラインをしたら

    線幅が変わりました

    原因がわかりません

  15. Window widgets vanish if window is resized via Accessibility API

    If an Illustrator window is moved and resized via the Accessibility API, then the window widgets will vanish. They will reappear if you manually resize the window (even if only by a pixel).

    This issue affects anyone who uses a third-party window manager, such as our app Moom. It was reported by one of our users, and this video is theirs—we don't have Illustrator, so we can't test on our end.

    If you watch the video, you'll see the window widgets vanish when the user uses Moom to move the window; they then reappear when they manually resize the window.…

  16. Stroke Scaling moves visible stroke away from actual path

    When I try to scale up the stroke weight on a path, the visual of the stroke moves away from the actual path proportionate to the amount scaled up. I have no idea what is going on. This happens mainly with custom brushes but I have not been able to predict when or how severely this is going to happen. Yes I'm using the latest illustrator update.

    Hello, I'm trying to map a symbol onto a 3D extruded object (See attached) using the new 3D interface. All I see are some black lines. No matter which symbol (even my own), what scale or rotation I use, the display of the mapped symbol does not change?

  18. Illustrator CC 2022 not correctly fonts in SVG format

    Why is there an email icon next to Adobe Illustrator if the intent is to email the Illustrator team, not be redirected to a marketing landing page.

    I'm using an Adobe Font (Trajan Pro 3) for a logotype: I set the font to outlines, but if I attempt to make the characters one compound path, the letters appear broken. If I leave the characters as individual compound paths, and save as an SVG, the SVG file shows the letters in a garbled fashion.

    When does Adobe expect to resolve this issue in CC?

  19. Opening a PDF file, previously saved in Ai

    After working on a file and trying to save it, it kept telling me it couldn't save. I finally gave up and then just saved it as a PDF. I was able to work from the PDF. So i saved the PDF. And now I can't open the PDF or the illustrator file. It gives me the dialog: Can't open the illustration. The file is locked or in use. ID: -54

    It's also not letting me upload the illustrator file here, only the PDF file.

  20. Can't save a file without closing the program.

    Everytime when I save a file, the program shuts off. The same for InDesign.
