Sketch Svg
Illustrator crashes when opening svg files from sketch.

Shadows Render as Boxes on Re-Open
Illustrator 21.1.0 shadow effects render out as boxes on re-open. Effect is lost and cannot be recovered.

3D omits fill when rendering objects
3D habitually doesn't render objects properly - typically by missing off the fill. Here's a simple example attached.

Illustrator scales down pasted snagit captures
Adobe Illustrator CC (2017.1.0.) always scales down pasted snagit captures, which is really annoying. No problems with the same action in PS.

ps import
ps files do not import correctly into AI. Transparent portions will render as gray. Some portions of the image fail to render at all. For example, this PDF ( from a ps file) will display differently in AI than any PDF viewer with the transparent background as gray.

Ctrl key moves canvas in Illustrator rendering Ctrl-Z unusable
Everytime I press the Ctrl key in Illustrator is moves the canvas right, making me unable to use ctrl-z or any other ctrl command because it defaults to moving the canvas, I'm pretty sure I have the latest version of Illustrator and the problem just started happening when I opened a psd file in it today. Didn't have this issue while using illustrator a few days ago.

CSS Extraction tool code formatting issues
Is there any way to alter the code formatting for this panel? It drives me nuts that the open bracket starts on a new line, all lines are indented with two spaces (seriously, who does two spaces? It's either four spaces or 1 tab), that there's a space before and after every colon, gives me both hex and rgba colors with no option to select just one, not to mention multi-word font family names aren't in quotes.
This is almost a useful tool, if it didn't require so much cleanup after copying/pasting, and I shouldn't have to run it through BBEdit or manually clean it up first every time. This would almost be easier to just look at and type out manually to my code editor, if the panels didn't disappear when Illustrator was out of focus.

Illustrator does not change the colour profile of Swathes between open files of different color profiles
See Case 0189293847.
"Basic RGB" Colour Swatch does not change colour when switching files (tabs) of open files with different Embedded profiles.
If you close down then open illustrator, it will take and then keep the swatch with that profile.Replication of error.
- Create .ai file that has the "ProPhoto RGB" assigned profile and save ensuring the ICC profile is embedded
- Create .ai file that has the "sRGB" assigned profile and save ensuring the ICC profile is embedded

Edit>"Colour Settings", and set the Working Space RGB to "ProPhoto RGB"
Tick on:- Profile Mismatches
- Missing Profiles Press OK
Close down Illustrator
Restart Illustrator
Open up the "ProPhoto RGB" file first,
then open up the "Basic RGB" swatch panel:
Swatches Window > from the Menu "Open Swatch Library" > "Default Swatches" > "Basic RGB"Screen grab the "Basic Swatch Menu" and place into MS Office Paint
You will notice the very saturated Red, Green Cyan and MagentaOpen up the "sRGB" file next
Note that the "Basic RGB" swatch panel does not change colour.
Screen grab and paste into Paint and compare.Now close down Illustrator and repeat the process,
but this time open up in the opposite order:
"sRGB" first
"ProPhoto" second
You will notice this time that the "Basic RGB" swatch panel is not so saturated,
and now matches the first file opened "sRGB".

Screen grab the "Basic RGB" swatch panel and paste into paint,
and compare .. you will notice the change of color.The "Basic RGB" swatch panel should change colour as you switch between files that are open.
It doesn't. This is a bug.You can change the "Colour Settings" so that the working space profile is "sRGB":
Edit>"Colour Settings", and set the Working Space RGB to "sRGB"
and repeat the stages above and you get the same issue.You should not have to shut down illustrator, for the swatches panel to pick up the new colours

Scale not auto highlighting input box
CC 2015.3 - when you hit S, the value input box is not highlighted like it is with every other tool (move, rotate, etc.)

Why is it that when a group is selected, the Object Type Indicator in Control panel doesn’t call it a group?

Copying hires 1-bit tiff takes to much time
I have a document where I copy a hires 1-bit tiff.
Then Illustrator just beachballs.
This happens in the latest version of Illustrator CC 2017.

Clicking in Actions Window Crashes
Often times when I click anywhere in the Actions window, Illustrator will crash and close abruptly. No edits made to Actions are saved since the previous open. Makes using Actions like walking through a mine field.

Error 16 Reinstall Software? (AI 2017.1.0 - 21.1.0 - MacOS 10.12.6)
On a MacBook Pro (Retina 15in Mid 2014) if I open up and use Mail and Safari first then open up Illustrator or Photoshop I often get Error 16 which insists I uninstall and reinstall the Illustrator program. However, if I shut down or restart my computer, the program opens up just fine without reinstalling it.
Why do I get this error message?
Is there anything I can do to stop getting it?

Illustrator Freezes + This Website Broken
So I open an .ai in the latest version of Illustrator, everything works. I open another .ai file, everything freezes / stops working. I need to use Task Manager to close Illustrator. I reinstalled it, same issue.
Regarding the website, when I click in Illustrator to submit a bug, it sends me to https://illustrator.uservoice.com/ where the 'Bug' button does not do anything. Are you for real, Adobe?!?!

AI CC for Mac open DWG files, found bug!
- AI version: AI CC all versions;
- We found a bug when open DWG files by AI CC for MAC; but it is fine when it work by Windows system.
