  1. need to fix control handles

    Handles have been broken for about 10 years now, time to fix them.
    Clicking on corner tool handle, making stuff rotate, trying to stretch one direction, then it stretching diagonally.

    Things like that should not be going wrong in software as old as illustrator.

  2. Can't activate polygon tool from extended tool menu

    polygon tool can be activated from toolbar button by clicking and holding until the menu appears (see pic 1), but NOT from the entended toolbar menu (the ... button, see pic 2).

    I am running Illustrator CC v 26.0.3 on Win 10 Home 21H1

  3. Illustrator crashes everytime I try to edit a graph

    First the graph tool was working perfectly, I made an area graph. But now after making some changes in colors and fonts in the graph, Illustrator is consistently crashing everytime I hit "Type" to edit it. How can I solve this?

  4. Eyedropper not working.

    Eyedropper is not working. I'm trying to copy text attributes and stroke attributes and it copies the white from the artboard.

    OS: Monterey 12.1
    Illustrator 2022 26.0.3
    Using eyedropper to copy stroke (weight and dashed stroke) and text attributes (typeface and color) and doesn't respond
    Doesn't copy the actual attributes of the stroke, it copies the white color of the artboard or grey that I don't know where ir came from. When eyedropping text it copies only the color but not the type properties.
    I'm an experienced Illustrator user, I've been using it since 1998 and this never happened to…

    When changing the line width with the "Width Tool", it creates little triangles in the line and distorts all the corners.

  6. 中間色のあるグラデーションのあるPDFが正しく読み込めず色情報が消えてしまいます

    中間色がなければ正しく読み込めます。
    問題のPDFはインデザイン等で長方形を設定し塗りのグラデーションで中間色を設定すれば作成でき、PDFにエクスポートできます。
    編集をしたいので、"配置(Place)"以外の方法で解決したいです。

    追加情報をありがとうございました。

    InDesign でグラデーションバーの100％の位置にカラーストップがセットされていない場合に、Illustrator で PDF を開いた時にグラデーションのカラーが消えてしまうようです。

    今後、開発に進捗がありましたら、こちらでご報告いたします。

  7. Illustrator 26.0.2 freezes, then crashes

    Working on line drawings, Illustrator freezes and displays either a dark screen or many lines of the same part of the UI (like freeze-frame), then goes black and crashes.

    The good news is that the auto-recover feature works (if I don't use Windows' End Task feature)

  8. 2021,2022でpdf書き出し時に圧縮した画像に線出る

    macOS MojaveからMonterey
    Mac Pro Late2013
    Illustrator 2021(25.4.3) 、2022(26.0.2)

    １，Photoshopレイヤーで背景がない状態（背景を複製して元の背景を削除した状態）の画像をレイヤーがいきる保存形式（psd,tiff等）で保存。
    ２，Illustratorに配置し（マスクはせず角版で。また、書き出しで圧縮が働くように画像は50%ぐらいに縮小）pdf書き出しをする。
    ３，書き出し設定で圧縮とする。（プリセット[PDF/X-4:2008(日本)]でも可）
    ４，Acrobatで書き出したPDFを確認すると画像の左右どちらかに線が発生する。
    ５、印刷にも反映される。

  9. ÿ (ydieresis) Uppercase and lowercase are inverted

    Hello,
    the character ÿ (y with a dieresis) has an issue in Illustrator (I have the french version) when I change the case using the Font menu, it does the opposite. Turning Ÿ to Capital will change it to lowercase, turning Ÿ to lowercase won't change it (the .mov video is more clear)

  10. Windows版Illustratorで図形を描画すると、マウスカーソルの移動に沿って大量に生成される

    OS : Windows 10
    CPU : Core i5-9300H
    GPU : Geforce RTX 2060
    Illustrator : 26.0.2

    Windows版Illustratorで図形を描画する際に、マウスカーソルの移動に沿って図形が大量に生成されてしまいます。

    PC起動直後にIllustratorのみ起動している状態では発生しないことは確認できていますが、上記のバグが発生するタイミングはまちまちであり、どういった条件で発生するかの特定は難しいです。

  11. 複数レイヤーの要素に対して同時に「パスの自由変形」を行うとレイヤーから要素が消えてしまう / Free Transform in distort mode forces objects from different layers to move into the top one

    環境
    OS: Windows10
    AI version 24.1.1(2020)および26.0.2(2022)

    再現手順
    １．複数のレイヤーにある複数の要素を同時に選択
    ２．[自由変形ツール]→[パスの自由変形]で、ガイドのコーナーをドラッグし要素を変形する

    期待する結果
    変形前の元レイヤーに変形後も同様の構成で要素が残る（グループ化しない）version 23(2019)以前の挙動

    実際の結果
    上のレイヤーに要素がグループ化され、他のレイヤーから選択した要素が消えてしまう

    要望
    レイヤー構成を変えずにパスの自由変形で複数レイヤーにわたる要素を調整する必要があります。
    複数レイヤーの要素が選択されている場合は、グループ化せずに元のレイヤーに要素が残るように修正をお願いいたします。

  12. 大きなキャンパス時にピクセルビューにすると、カーソルキーでのオブジェクト移動時に10pxづつ動いてしまう

    1. M1 Mac mini OS 12.1 / Illustrator 26.0.2

    2. 手順
      大きなキャンパスでデータを作成
      既存デザインデータを貼り付け
      ピクセルビューで作業
      ピクセル吸着モードで作業
      キーボードのカーソルキーの左を押す

    3. 想定していた結果
      環境設定では0.2pxに設定されているので、
      1pxづつオブジェクトが移動するはずですが、10pxづつ動いてしまうようです。

    大きなキャンパス時にピクセルビュー+ピクセル吸着モードにすると、カーソルキーでのオブジェクト移動時に10pxづつ動いてしまうようです。

  13. The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error. [TAdd]

    The error makes all shortcuts useless, plus they can't even be edited nor does resetting preferences make any difference.

  14. Pixel preview doesn't refresh correctly until reapplied

    Steps to reproduce:
    - New document with units set to pixels
    - View: 'Snap to pixel' and 'pixel preview' turned on.
    - Use the rectangle tool to make a new shape, eg. 20 pixels square.
    - Set the fill colour to a high contrast colour (eg. dark grey) and turn off the stroke
    - zoom the view, move around.

    Expected result:
    - the rectangle should appear pixel-perfect (sharp) against the pixel grid, with no anti-aliased bluring
    - the view should acurately update when I zoom and move around to display pixel perfect artwork

    Actual result:
    - the rectangle is bordered…

  15. No eps thumbnail preview

    My default is Illustrator but yet I can't see the file thumbnail preview.
    Even when I press spacebar there is still no preview.

  16. zooming issue......looks like other people

    Doesn't matter if GPU performance is clicked on.....when I zoom in to a vector drawing to work on it......BOOM....can't see anything.

    Please fix.
    Screen goes grey.

  17. Keyboard Shortcuts "Export Text..." file missing tab delimiter under "Menu Commands"

    Steps to repeat: go to Edit/ Keyboard Shortcuts/ "Export Text..."
    Then import the text file as a tab delimited data file in a spreadsheet of your choice.

    In Excel: go to Data/ Get Data/ From File/ From Text/CSV/, select the shortcuts txt file, set the delimiter to 'Tab' and click 'Load'.

    Look down the rows and at the menu commands...

    Expected behaviour:
    Edit/ Keyboard Shortcuts/ "Export Text..." should give me a consistently tab delimited file. This means, in the spreadsheet you should see the shortcut in the next column to the command (same row).

  18. Outline stroke effect only works when applied first

    When applying Outline stroke and roughen to a stroke (in order to render its width irregular) you have to actually select Outline stroke from the menu before seleting roughen. It doesn't work when you just rearrange them in the appearance panel.

  19. Character Styles not assigning/sticking

    For the last few versions, Character Styles won't assign to text. I've reinstalled at least three times, with and without preferences.

  20. Adobe Illustrator Online Preview Bugs

    Hi, I've been facing some problems with the feature that allows to other people preview the file on the web without Adobe. It's an important feature to my company since they can comment and review my work, yet there seems to have lots of problems in the formating. The first 2 images are from the Adobe Illustrator and the other 2 are from the online preview:
