2. Do not loose focus for the Scale dropdown’s field in Export for Screens dialog after we choose a value

3. I'm tired. Tools occasionally don’t work, artboards don’t get edited, links don’t hold.

   My illustrator since I downloaded it has been very bad, at the moment it is buggy and does not let me edit the artboards, I even had to restart my PC. The bug happens with all the tools and just with the passing of the hours it fixes itself, but I'm tired. I can't even add images or screenshots because it doesn't leave me when it's in that state, it's not my computer, it's a very good computer and I can't say it's because I'm doing something wrong. Simply out of nowhere some tool does not work or the application crashes directly.

6. Copy/Paste formatted text is broken

   Mac M1 Pro, 16Go, macOS 14.5
   Illustrator 28.5

   When I copy/paste formatted text into a new text frame or at the text cursor place, the formatting is lost.
   It seem that the formatting of first paragraph is applicate to all paragraphs.
   Kerning adjustments is also lost.

8. Intertwine unknots in places on Expand Appearance and PDF Asset Export

   In Illustrator 28.5 (macOS 14.5, intel)
   • Create intertwine from paths with 2 strokes (lower is black and greater weight)
   • Either use Object > Expand Appearance or use Asset Export to create PDF
   • Several crossings reverse on some Intertwine objects.

   英数で　「1（いち」「.（ドット」「　（半角スペース）」と入力するとスペースは全角で入力され、バックで削除できなくなる。選択もできなくなる。これをアウトラインをとった時、消えてしまう場合とそうでない場合がある。

   「1（いち」「.（ドット」「　（半角スペース）」と入力したい場合は「1（いち」を入力する前に何か任意の数字（文字）を入力してから「1（いち」「.（ドット」「　（半角スペース）」を入力した後、任意の数字（文字）を削除すれば通常通りに入力、アウトライン等可能

10. 特定のデータで印刷ができない

    あるデータで印刷をするとメーターが100％で止まってしまい、印刷ができません。
    しばらく待ってもプリンターが反応せず困っております。（プリンターダイヤログにも表示されません。）

    これ以外のデータは正常に印刷可能です。

    キャンセルを押すとフリーズしている様子もなく、普通に印刷キャンセルされます。
    新規ドキュメントを作成し、コピー貼り付けしてみましたが、それも同じ症状です。

    データ自体は他に比べ極端に重いデータでもなさそうです。（41956KB）

    また、他のPC環境でも試しましたがどのPCを使っても同じ症状で、
    そのデータの中の一部パスデータをラスタライズしたり、データ自体をPDF化すると印刷が可能でした。
    出来ればPDF化などせずに印刷をしたいです。
    何か解決方法がございましたらご教示をお願いいたします。

11. Confusing repeated profile mismatch warning

    When drag and drop is used to place an image into an Illustrator document that has a color profile that is different than the image, Illustrator will link the image and will not warn for the profile difference, even if the profile mismatch warning is checked in the Color Settings.
    Using the Place command it will give you a warning about the Profile mismatch.
    When the document is saved and opened, Illustrator will start to warn for an Embedded Profile Mismatch and say that the document has an embedded profile that does not match the current RGB Working Space.
    This is confusing, the document is not the Illustrator document, but the linked image.
    If there are more linked images with a different profile, it will repeat the warning.
    I would like to see a warning when drag/drop an image with a profile mismatch.
    I would like to see clearly that the mismatch is about the image and not the document when opening the Illustrator document.
    I would like to have an Apply to All button/checkbox when multiple images mismatch the document profile.

12. Canvas is flickering after waking the computer up

    Flickering around the artboard when the type tool is selected. The system had been in sleep mode for about an hour. When I returned, dragging my mouse over the window, the area surrounding the artboard flickered. Every mouse movement made the background flicker. It did not happen if the window was not the foremost window active.

    Hi,
    we are developers of an app with hotkey customizer running in background.
    The app works fine most of the time,
    while confronting some difficulties on interacting with Ai.

    The basic idea of the app is registrating key event observer to the system,
    then either intercepting the customized hotkey or leaving others to system for further transmission.

    However, after we register the listener,
    Ai seems sometimes skip the mouse-releasing event of a click,
    and then hanged in a "dragging" state until another click.
    (and hence moving the dragged object to other position, not surprisingly.)

    After a rough scan in this forum, we have found some feedbacks might be related (list below.)
    Is there any possible indications or suggestions to this kind of issue?
    Or is there any existing logic in Ai to intercept/interpret keys?

    We are tremendously eager to solve this issue for better user experiences and willing to give any help for debugging.
    Please let us know if any helpful info is needed.

    Details on the implementations and some observations:

    1. We call CGEventTapCreate with kCGHIDEventTap, kCGHeadInsertEventTap, kCGEventTapOptionDefault as parameters.
       The app works well with Ai when registering with NXKEYDOWNMASK | NXKEYUPMASK | NXFLAGSCHANGEDMASK and breaks when we add NXSYSDEFINEDMASK to it.

    2. The issue seems happen more frequently when clicking "in" the empty area of Ai objects than at the bounding edges.
       Also, it works correctly when elapsing long enough between pressing and releasing.

    3. Instead of the mouse-releasing event which should be sent right after the pressing event,
       our app observed an event of kCGEventTapDisabledByTimeout after a long delay.

    4. The issue exists regardless of the click being triggered with touchpad or a mouse (Logitech MX585)

15. 3D inflated art has rippled edges

    I'm getting rippled edges when I apply inflate to vector artwork. I've tried various settings but can't get it to appear as smooth lines. There's also a slight clipping to the right pupil. Can't get it to render properly.

16. Direct selection tool doesn't work 90% of the time

    90% of the time when I use the direct selection tool (and I'm sure I am using the rght tool because the curser turns white as it should when this tool is selected) I can't manipulate anchors and instead am dragging the entire shape.

17. Clipped images gets displayed on adjacent pages in exported PDFs in readers such as Microsoft Edge browsers

    When I place multiple images in a clipping mask, whether it is exported as PDF or saved as PDF, or even if I use Acrobat to optimize the PDF, some PDF readers such as Microsoft Edge will show the image at the bottom of the clipping mask. It becomes a color block displayed on the PDF, but these extra color blocks will disappear after enlarging the PDF interface.

18. Baisse de performance au bout d'un certain temps

    Illustrator fonctionne parfaitement jusqu'à un moment où les raccourcis claviers ne fonctionne plus, le traitement de texte met du temps à afficher le texte que je rédige et la moindre action fait apparaître la roue de chargement sur la souris.

    La solution (que j'espère temporaire) que j'ai trouvé est de fermer et de réouvrir l'application

19. dxcore.dll not found

    Illustrator won't open due to "dxcore.dll not found".
    I have been on forums and many people have posted about this.
    Seems to be an issue with the latest update as the posts are quite recent.
    Temporarily fixed by reinstall of Illustrator. As yet, have found no permanent solution.
