   Since MacOs Sequoia upgrade, Illustrator randomly recording / monitoring screen despite disabled in Privacy settings. Sequoia bug, AI bug, or Sequoia revealing this was happening all along. Could just be the color picker, could not. Doesnt happen reliably with color picker use. Only happens in Illustrator and only since the Sequoia upgrade. Something isnt working right between the OS and app.
   If screen monitoring is turned off, Illustrator should not be able to monitor.

   Illustrator uses Apple screenshot API to pick colors outside the Illustrator window with Eyedropper tool. Apple has enhanced security in the recent OS updates to let user know which applications are recording the screen, whether you pick a color value of single pixel or recording the entire screen.

   Illustrator is not recording users's screen, it is required for Eyedropper tool to pick color from single pixel.

   1) photoshop內變更完檔案，ai自動跳出「是否更新連結？」視窗，點確認後、跑圖，圖片還是維持舊連結檔狀態

   2)「連結」視窗中，選取「多個連結」並按「重新連結」鈕之後，跑圖，圖片還是維持舊連結檔狀態

   最後用一個方法可以 正確更新 連結圖檔：

   3) 於「連結」視窗點擊「單獨圖片」，重新連結、跑圖後是正確更新的連結檔解析度；但這等於需要一張一張點擊

5. An empty document that makes Pathfinder Unite fail and a bounding box to become loose

   I am sending you an empty Illustrator file that leads to Illustrator starts to glitch badly. These are not Illustrator glitches, but a change in Illustrator's behavior due to the open document. But behavior of the App that depends on open document is a bug itself isn't it?

   This document is completely empty. And how can error be reproduced? Below are 2 examples:

   The Unite operation does not work:
   1. Open the document.
   2. Create 2 intersecting rectangles.
   3. Apply Pathfinder / Unite.
   4. The operation is unsuccessful.

   Image rotation does not work:
   1. Open the document.
   2. Import any image into the document (or drug and drop it).
   3. Press E (transform tool) and rotate the document by an arbitrary angle.
   4. The operation leads to strange results — the bounding box takes a strange shape and another attempt to rotate the image leads to unexpected results.

6. Arbeitsbereich mit zwei Monitoren

   2. Ich arbeite mit zwei Monitoren, auf dem rechten sind die Werkzeugleisten abgelegt. Diese Konfiguration habe ich als Arbeitsbereich abgespeichert. (Screenshot 1)
   3. Der Fehler tritt auf, wenn ich die Werkzeugleisten mit der Tastenkombination STRG-T aus- und wieder einblende. Die Werkzeugleisten erscheinen dann auf dem linken Hauptfenster (Screenshot 2) und ich muss den Arbeitsbereich zurücksetzen.

7. Ligatures button not working

   Ligatures button is enabled but not working, i'm testing with ra re. ri ro ru and with a font i know contains ligatures and turning it on or off dont do anything with the text

8. Flash opening & closing of panels! even in older versions and tried multiple installation too!

   UI panels like layer, color, appearance, etc., are expanding & collapsing itself. Looks like flashing panel.
   I tried installing an older version & beta got the same problem—multiple installations, opening/ closing. NOTHING WORKED!

   Due to this, I'm unable to use any AI projects & my client work is getting delayed.

   Maybe it could be my PC problem but I don't get it & Please help.

    Reinstalling the app solved the problem.

12. Pantalla de diseño negra

    Hola, mi problema es que no logro ver el contenido de la pantalla de diseño de Adobe Illustrator 29.0.1, trabajo sobre Windows 11 Pro 24H2 con una laptop Lenovo Ideapad 5 AMD Ryzen 7 5700U with Radeon Graphics 1.80 GHz con 16 Gb de RAM. La tarjeta gráfica tiene el AMD software Adrenaline Edición 24.9.1.

    PhotoShop e InDesign trabajan bien, pero desde que instalé Illustrator empezaron los problemas... Carga al programa, pero la ventana de diseño se mantiene en negro. Cuando abro un archivo diseñado con anterioridad, se ven las capas según el diseño en la ventana Capas, sin embargo, la ventana de diseño permanece en negro.

    En una máquina más sencilla, de menor capacidad, si funciona el Illustrator de mi cuenta. Estoy poniendo esta consulta en busca de explicación y soluciones en Windows 11 y en Adobe.

    Disabling AMD Adrenaline seems to solve the issue for now. Please comment if it works or doesn’t work for you if you had a similar problem and upvote.

13. Can’t apply Blur effects other than Gaussian blur, all other dialogs are broken

    I can't use blur effects, only the gaussian blur I can use.

14. Blob Brush tool not functioning - making smaller shapes than I’ve drawn and nowhere near the right shape

    I'm trying to draw with the blob brush tool - its not creating anything close to what I’m drawing if at all, sometimes it just does a single dot. it's also been extra laggy of late - taking full seconds to register I’ve moved the mouse.

    The issue has been resolved by installing a missing plugin from CCD app

16. Pen Tool Randomly Deactivating Briefly (a LOT)

    Just updated to CC 2025 and have been introduced a bug where the pen tool now randomly deactivates for a split second and begins a new path. I've tried rebooting the suite, closing all other programs, but the issue is persistent. It happens so often I just clocked it at around 3-4x per minute. Insanely frustrating and making things take far longer than they should.

    I'm running on a brand new M3 MacBook Air, not a complex file at all either.

17. Color set through Appearance section Properties conflicts with the one from dedicated Appearance panel.

    Some features in Illustrator are quite strange. For example, if you set a color in the Appearance panel of the Properties panel and then add a color in the independent "Appearance" panel, the object will have color A+color B overlap, but the color set in the Appearance panel of the Properties panel cannot be reflected in the "Appearance" panel.
    The Appearance panel in the Properties is different from the individual Appearance panel, which cannot be understood.

18. Selection incorrectly grabs bounding box

    In Illustrator 2024 and earlier, drawing a selection box would not grab bounding boxes. In AI 2025, if I draw a selection box that happens to cross a bounding box, it will select the object(s). Proper selection ignores bounding boxes, otherwise it becomes difficult to select without accidentally picking the wrong objects. I've deleted and lost artwork several times in the last week, due to selecting bounding boxes of circles that are off screen when I'm zoomed in.
    
    I cannot seem to find the switch to turn this off, and there is no mention of this in the new features/changes for 2025, so I can only assume this is a bug.

19. Illustrator breaks lines of Latin area type text without hyphens at arbitrary positions

    It is truly a disaster. Working with packaging in different languages, I experience this problem very often. I am forced to format the text in indesign, convert it to paths and paste it into Illustrator...

    Here a sample file: it seems this issue affects especially Cyrillic, but only in certain fonts.
    Indesign handles it correctly.
    To avoid this, I've made a script that assign the "no break" attribute to every word in a selected paragraph.

    The font team informs, the font used is a Japanese font, developed by Coji Morishita. Even though it has Latin and Cyrillic glyphs in it, it’s displayed in the Japanese section in the font list, and has a preview rendered in Japanese (when no text is selected and 'Show Font Names in English' is disabled in Preferences > Type.

    CJK fonts, such as this one, allow to break one character per word, and this extends to Cyrillic glyphs these might have, even with the correct language is picked in Character panel.

    The team is considering to treat Cyrillic like non-CJK when the CJK font's Cyrillic is not full-width, but currently sees it as a narrow case.

20. Dimensions of this page are out of range

    The original file i used to make a back wall design has worked for years now and every time i update it, it still works. UNTIL NOW. The image REFUSES to save as a PDF or anything, as it says the dimensions of this page are out of range... EVERYTHING is within the canvas but still refuses to work. If it saves as a PNG, it cuts off part of the sides, EVEN if i shrink it down WAY smaller into the box, it STILL cuts off stuff in the PNGS. What is wrong????? AI its self keeps freezing... yes this is the updated version.
    I HAVE saved this before for this file and now it wont..
