  1. Kerning Font Characters (Letters) Causes Cursor to Jump Around

    While kerning letters in a statement, each time I press the up arrow to give more space or to press the down arrow to shrink space between letters, the cursor jumps to the second line in some random spot. I have to move the cursor back each time I press the up arrow and down arrow. This is definitely a bug.

  2. My text is being converted automatically to shapes

    I am working on a project (wordle project) and I have a layer where I put text; Every time I open the file after I had saved it, I find the new text converted to shapes :s. This is so frustrating.

  3. Scaling type reverts to original size

    I'm trying to scale up live text and it keeps reverting to the original size. This happens both with and without the shift key.

  4. "Preview in Browser" resets to Safari

    "Preview in Browser" option in save for web window is resets to Safari everyday(After restart). Several times I tried selecting Google Chrome and set as default in browser menu, but chrome is getting removed from the browser menu automatically after I restart the Illustrator.

    Please contact Apple support. macOS controls the default browser setting. You can validate the default browser by double clicking any html file on your system.

  6. Selecting list view does not change from grid view in "Start" screen.

    v22.0.1

    Selecting "list" view in the "start" window does not change the view. Have restarted numerous times. Not a big deal, but annoying when I need to see full file names (which are truncated in grid view).

  7. Item on Selection Menu repeated in the dropdown list

    I actually using the the spanish version and is there a repeated name for menu option "Object" and it seems to be useless.

  8. Since updating Illustrator to CC 2018 it runs worse than before

    Illustrator lags, it crashes. Creative Cloud sucks. Looking to switch over to CorelDraw. That's all I have to say. I'm annoyed and frustrated with Adobe since switching to CC.

  9. Blending mode in text box not saved in the file

    Adobe Illustrator 22.0.0, Mac OS 10.11.6 - Extensis Universal Type Client user:

    I am experiencing a very troublesome bug:
    - make a text box with a few lines
    - put a backgrund coloured object under it, so that multiply blending can be shown up easily when applied
    - apply a blending mode (such as multiply) to the second line only; now you have a single text box where the first line is normal, the second is in multiply mode
    - save the file
    - re-open it: the multiply text line has reversed to normal mode

  10. Menu Issues

    MacOS High Sierra 10.13.1
    Illustrator 22.0.1

    When the Application Frame is disabled, the menu items are displayed incorrectly. The "View" menu is attached.

    I have reset the preferences and the menus seemed to work fine, but when I disabled the application frame, they went crazy again.

  11. Can’t set Pixel Preview mode for the second window for a document

    1. Illustrator CC 2018 (22.0.1)
    2. Create a circle in the artboard (any size), then open a new window. choose one of these two windows to set view model with Pixel Preview. Nothing happens and nothing changes in this window. If I zoom in or out, I still can see the scale value on the file title bar.

  12. Stock Single Action Download?

    There's no forum for Stock Photos so I decided to post here - Why is downloading an Adobe Stock image not at least a double-action before downloading? I went to see more of a photo, miss-clicked and before I could stop it, the image started downloading and I was minus one image credit for an image I can't use. Tech support told me they would issue a "one-time" image credit, but this reeks of opportunism. If the system had simply asked me if I was sure I wanted to download I would have declined, but it started automatically on an…

  14. Dynamic symbols automatically expands

    When placing a dynamic symbol on an artboard, then re-opening the document it becomes "expanded" — the link to symbol gets broken. This only occurs with dynamic symbols.

  16. Optimize Illustrator

    I've already optimized Illustrator for my graphics card. I keep getting the notification for it, even though I've done it.

    I could turn off the notification, but I'd rather get important Adobe update news.

    Can the message be automatically deactivated if we've already optimized?

    Es imposible trabajar con la aplicación ya que todo se colapsa por un lag extremo. Todas las herramientas se ven afectadas y ni siquiera crear un simple objeto resulta fácil debido a la lentitud.   18. Cannot check resolution (ppi) of an image in CC2018

    In CC2017 when you were resizing an image you could check its ppi, in CC2018 this is not possible. I checked in info panel with the image selected but this information is not even there.

  20. Fit to window (apple-0) doesn't take into rulers into account

    Using 'fit artboard to window' on mac Illustrator 2018 doesn't work properly if rulers are shown.
    Expected: whole artwork to be shown, fit to window.
    Result: top of artwork is 'cropped off' by rulers if they are shown. If rulers are hidden, 'fit to window' works as expected.
