  1. Adobe Fontが時々使えない

    契約は問題ないはずなのですが、Adobe Fontが時々使えなくなり、既存フォントで置き換えられてしまい、しばらく利用できなくなります。

  2. Preferences > Type "Automatic Bulleted and Numbered lists while typing" Not working

    Version 27.0 64bit

    This setting: Preferences > Type "Automatic Bulleted and Numbered lists while typing" has no effect.

    Illustrator is automatically numbering and bulleting, even when the setting is on or off.

  3. Font not automatically updating embedded Font

    I am using an exported PDF from Autodesk Inventor where there is an embedded Font included but not showing i original PDF.
    I use Illustrator for Finetuning the PDF and also for updating the font.
    this last thing normally goes automatically when opening, Illustrator changes/updates it directly.
    Since today it didn't work, I was frustrated but then I tried downgrading to 27.1 and this did the trick.

    Please can you get this back straight and repair this.

  4. パスのオフセットが出来なくなってしまった

    文字をアウトライン化して、パスのオフセットを実行すると全部同じ色になってしまう。色の変更をしても内側外側全て同じ色になってしまう

  5. Auto Spell Check marks capitalization mistakes when type is set to ALL CAPS.

    With auto spell check enabled, capitalization is still marked if the type is set to "ALL CAPS" in the the character panel's options. when using all caps, the capitalization of the underlying text should not matter, only what is displayed which is all-caps.

  6. Paragraph copy converts to individual letters, or small small groups of letters

    I have noticed this issue with some increasing frequency: where paragraphs of copy suddenly appear as individual letters or small groupings. These letters all appear on their own layer. I am unable to grab all the text, or modify an entire word. Thankfully, I save rounds of files, or work by copy and pasting , so I'm generally able to grab copy from an older version, but this is maddening to say the least. I work as a packaging designer and it's crucial that copy remain editable. I have attached an image of the copy selected and highlighted little pink…

  7. BUG - Kann Umlaute ü und ö nicht per Tastatur eingeben

    Seit dem Update auf Illustrator 25.4 kann ich die Umlaute "ü" und "ä" nicht auf der Tastatur eingeben. Es wird einfach nichts eingetippt.

    Habe die vorherige Version 25.3.1 installiert und es ging wieder.

    Bitte dringend patchen!!!

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.4.1 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  8. SVG import: font-weight and font-style not always applied to tspan elements

    font-weight and font-style not always applied to tspan elements

    Use the following steps to reproduce the issue:
    1. download attached AIbugreport.txt file
    2. replace .txt with.svg (unable to load an SVG file)
    3. import the file to Adobe Illustrator
    4. open this file in Google Chrome (or any other browser) to visually see the difference

    Actuall result: Google Chrome: "quick" is bold; "over" is italic. Adobe Illustrator: Styles are not applied to these words.

    Expected result: Google Chrome: "quick" is bold; "over" is italic. Adobe Illustrator: "quick" is bold; "over" is italic

  9. Problem with Type on a Path after ver. 26.1 update

    Prior to updating Adobe Illustrator to ver. 26.1, a drawing with Type on a Path appears as it should. After the update, the text is positioned in a different place along the path. This is confirmed on a second computer. The same file opened on the second computer prior to the update appears normal, and after the update, the text is shifted.

  11. 合成フォント使用時、パス上文字アウトライン後の文字の回転・変形

    ver 26.2.1
    パス上文字ツールで作成した円弧上の文字をアウトラインかけると勝手に回転、変形がかかります。
    以前のバージョンでは問題なかったので大問題です。早急に対応願います。

    ご報告いただいた「合成フォントが使用されているパス上文字をアウトライン化した際に、一部の文字が正しくアウトライン化されない現象」の再現を確認いたしました。

    こちらの問題は曲線パス上の文字の角度によって、再現の有無があるようです。

    また、ノーマルフォントの場合は再現しませんが、単一フォントのみで作成された合成フォントでは再現することが確認できました。

    今後ともよろしくお願いいたします。

  12. Font compatibility issues between different iOS and Illustrator versions

    My one system is on Mojave (10.14.6) running 25.4.8 illustrator. The other system is on Monterey (12.3.1) running 26.5 illustrator. And I have downloaded and installed Petrona font from Google fonts on both the systems.

    Now when I try to open the file (that was created on Mojave) on Monterey I'm prompted for missing fonts! This compatibility issue is making it very difficult for me to work across my devices.

  13. Point type alignment trouble

    I have an issue with Adobe illustrator, and the online help service didn’t help me at all

    Here’s the deal:

    When I type in English left to right, I can align the text to the horizontal center of the artboard.

    BUT when I write in Hebrew (or Arabic), right to left, using a point type, the text will not align.

    If I convert to area type, or if I change orientation of the txt to left to right, the text will align fine.

    So the issue happens only when writing in Hebrew or Arabic, In right to left orientation, and…

  14. Converting Text to Outlines no longer creates Simple Ungroupable compound path.

    When converting text to outlines in Illustrator 27.2, the text becomes transparent, contained within a clipping mask, and ungroupable.

    Previously, the text would become a grouped compound path of the same fill color as it was as text. I could easily ungroup it.

    I now have to release the clipping mask, release compound path, and use the shape builder tool to fix the letters with holes in them that are now filled in (letters such as R, B, b, O, o, e, etc...

    I am using Windows 11

    Could not attach .ai file. Kept getting "could not submit feedback" error…

  15. Some variable fonts get expanded in parts

    If you apply a stroke to a live text using Acumin Variable Concept, Myriad Variable Concept, Minion Variable Concept fonts, the stroke stays solid.
    If you expand these, glyphs are united.

    However, if you do the same with Bahnschrift, Cascadia Code, Clash Grotesk Variable, Source Code Variable (and perhaps some other fonts), you get glyphs partitioned.

    To workaround this, we can use Pathfinder Add effect... but it won’t help if you have different fills applied to your characters.

    Why the results are different? why Illustrator treats some variable fonts as a collection of sub-parts, but others stay wholesome?

  17. 26.5 Can not change text box's language in the Character Panel

    When I highlight text or select a textbox I can not change the language in the dropdown menu located in the character panel. When I am editing, all my textboxes and either English: USA or Ukrainian and I can not change them. My default is English: USA but for some reason half of my text is labeled Ukrainian and the Auto Spellchecker is saying every English word is misspelled.

  18. Glyphs in a type on a path are placed wrong, rotate and shift

    Type on a path seems to be glitching. There may be some setting I'm overlooking, but it's certainly never been an issue before my last update. Characters are rotating and randomly spacing along a smooth, curved path, as if there were sharp turns in the path.

    Also, if I'm using type-along-a-path and then scale the objects with the text still live, the text will often glitch and then even if I undo the scale, it remains glitched.

  19. Leading not Displaying Correctly

    Leading is not displaying properly in either the Character panel or in the Properties panel. Instead of showing the correct leading, Illustrator is showing the Auto value.

    Changing between the text, selection or direct selection tools does not solve the problem.

  20. Change case feature not working.

    I am trying to change from uppercase to lowercase. Using 26.5.1 (64-bit) version. I wish I had not upgraded as it crashes every few minutes. Steps: highlight text; Type-->Change case-->lowercase. (In the attached video the Type drop down does not appear in the recording; follow the mouse.

    Toni, for some reason you have All Caps option enabled in the Character panel for this particular text selection (or rather the whole type on path object).

    Once disabled, Ai stops to force the capitalization for it, and the result of Change Case commands start to be visible.

    I agree though it can be tough to discover.

    If anyone else happen to have this exact problem — please add your votes, so the team can get data on reviewing this in the future.
