  1. New Illustrator 2018 UI is not correct-missing panels and won't set workplace

    This is what I get when opening the new Illustrator CC 2018. Wonky, slow to respond, no panels, workplace will not appear. THings lag and disappear randomly. Terrible!
    On WIN 10 Enterprise 64 byte Dell Desktop Nvidia Quatro K4000 video card. 4K monitor

  2. When group is selected the "Make pixel perfect" option is missing in the proportes panel

    The "Make pixel perfect" option for selected objects is missing when they are grouped, in the previous version it was easily accessible from the top right corner icons now have to dig in the Object menu.

  3. Illustrator menus won't scale down on external monitor for Lenovo Yoga

    I am running Illustrator 2018 on my new Lenovo Yoga laptop. I am using external monitors and when using Illustrator on those external monitors, the menu's are bloated as if they were still retaining the "touch enabled" versions rather than the standard desktop versions. This is very annoying and I would greatly appreciate a fix. Thank you.

  4. When clicked on file>export, the menus closes.

    Operating System: MAC High Sierra

    When clicking on export under FIle menu the menu closes, This is not expected as this might happen by mistake before the sub menu has opened.

    This is also not consistent with photoshop file>export.
    In photoshop when clicked on export menu under file, the menu will not get closed.

  5. Character Properties Disappears in "Draw Inside"

    Can't access the Character Properties (like changing font/size/line height) while in "Draw Inside" mode. I have to create/edit text in my main layer and cut/paste it in the "Draw Inside" object.

  6. I can draw a selection square, and then right click for context menu, but AI doesn't manage to select anything.

  7. Error on Artboard/Workspace

    1. Adobe Illustrator CC 22.0.1
    2. Tried working on a new artboard to learn interface and immediately started getting this problem - this happens when I select an object and try to move it. Then I am unable to move anything properly. I have been unable to find any settings that may have caused this. I uninstalled and reinstalled and have received this same problem on different files and art boards.
    3. A triangular cut out that appears on the artboard and causes the objects to malfunction when manipulated.

    If I try to create something new, it disappears and then shows up again.

  8. Font name not suggested when typing in

    When I want to change a typeface to another and I start typing in the name, instead of loading a list of installed fonts related to the characters being typed, nothing happens. No suggestions loaded at all.

    Hi Love,

    sorry to hear that you are facing this issue. Can you please click on the little rectangle in the font name (below search button) and see the option selected?

    If it is “Search First Work Only”, change it to “Search Entire Font Name” and it will solve the issue.

  9. "New Document" window doesn't scale on Windows 10

    On Windows 10, the "New Document" window (reachable from the "Get Started" window by pressing "Create new...", for example) doesn't scale according to the scaling set in Windows display settings.
    Set to 250% (Windows recommendation), the window looks fine.
    Set to smaller values, the content doesn't fit in the frame. See attachment (200%).

  10. Name layer pop up panel appears twice

    On macOS 10.12.6, working with a Wacom. If you double-click on a layer to rename it and the panel pops up to rename, clicking OK doesn't get rid of the panel. It re-appears a second time.

  11. Zoom options in View menu items have completely wrong labels

    There's an absolutely bizarre off-by-two error in the View menu in Illustrator CC 22.0 that I just noticed while working on something today.

    When initially starting Illustrator CC 22.0, the "Fit All in Window" and "Actual Size" items in the View menu have the correct labels (see attachment zoomoptscorrect.png). However, once a file has been opened, these menu items are assigned completely wrong labels, which should belong to the items two spaces lower in the menu — "Hide Edges" and "Hide Artboards", respectively (see zoomoptswrong.png).

  12. Issue when typing in the font name field to find a font

    v. 22.0.0
    iMac 2017 on High Sierra

    I use English and Greek keyboards on my Mac.

    Very often I start typing in the Fonts field to find a specific font.
    If the keyboard is set to Greek when I start typing, I delete anything I have typed, use the keyboard shortcut and start again.

    The bug is that the shortcut to switch keyboard language doesn't work while I am doing this.

    I have to grab the mouse and go on the Mac's menu bar and do it there, then go back in illustrator and start typing again.

  13. Selecting multiple objects with different opacities incorrectly reports their opacities as 0%

    AI CC 2018 - MacOS Sierra
    When selecting multiple objects with two different opacities (say one square at 80% and another at 40%) it reports their value as 0%.

  15. Illustrator 2018 Crashes

    Surface Book crashes within minutes of starting drawing in Illustrator 2018. Have done a complete diagnostic check of my machine with Microsoft online and there are no issues there. What should I do?

  16. Selecting list view does not change from grid view in "Start" screen.

    v22.0.1

    Selecting "list" view in the "start" window does not change the view. Have restarted numerous times. Not a big deal, but annoying when I need to see full file names (which are truncated in grid view).

  17. Start Screen and New Page Screen has a black border as if its minimised

    The Start Screen and the New Page screen acts as if it is minimised inside the window (see attachment to understand) until i update the page by minimising and then maximising the application.

    as there is no way to minimise the new page screen it is stuck in this state. Started happening all of a sudden tonight. I have tried to turn off gpu acceleration but that has no effect. Tried Uninstalling but also didn't fix the problem.

    I have not tested any other pages like preferences to test if it happens on that too but my guess would be…

  18. CC 2018: The 'undo count' button in preferences is not responding

    Basically, I can click it but it doesn't respond.
    It's impossible to change the value.

  19. dialog box size

    On Windows 10, using 2 screens.
    The dialog boxes for Illustrator, Photoshop and Dreamweaver display far larger than the window, meaning I'm unable to reach most of the options.

  20. Menu Issues

    MacOS High Sierra 10.13.1
    Illustrator 22.0.1

    When the Application Frame is disabled, the menu items are displayed incorrectly. The "View" menu is attached.

    I have reset the preferences and the menus seemed to work fine, but when I disabled the application frame, they went crazy again.
