No option to stop recording an action when resetting workspace
When recording an action with Button Mode unchecked in the actions panel, there is currently no way to stop recording the action if you reset your Workspace with your Workspace having button mode enabled. As far as I know, there are also no hotkeys to start/stop recording for Actions either. Forced to restart Illustrator otherwise.

Bug with end of line - Convert selected anchor point to smooth
When you have a line in illustrator where you:
Select using the direct selection tool (A)
Convert the point to smooth using (B)
And get the fabulus result (C).
BUT you also end up with point D where the alignment of the line is always vertical.3 votes -
Brush Tool size options are disabled
In Brush Options dialog only the Random and Fixed option are available, and other option like Pressure do not work

One object in a selection is always a key object
Previous Ai update came with an issue where I can't fully hide edges unless objects are grouped which, to me, is an inefficiency. There were other glitches as well, which appear to have been resolved with the closely-following most recent update.

Ghost element sneaks in my groups
Hi!!
I encounter a bug in Illustrator. You will find the description below but also a video that explains a lot better what I am trying to say.
1) OS: Windows
Version: 10.0
System Architecture: x64
Illustrator version: 24.1.22) When I just try to select a group from the active window.
3) I expect to only select element from this group
4) Somehow there is a ghost element that I can see alone when I unselect my group. This ghost stays there and mess up my resizing then..5 votes -
Ai 2021, Windows: Opened SVG image element with base64 data is not shown.
The codepen demonstration here (https://codepen.io/VHall/pen/BrdwLz) is supposed to download an SVG file which wil l show the exact same image as seen in the browser when opened in Illustrator. Using Ai version 2020, the opened SVG shows the correct background image with the logo. However, opening in Ai 2021 does not show the image. The element not rendered starts with: "<image overflow="visible" width="1200" height="750" xlink:href="data:image/png;base64"

Expanding in RTL removes numbers
After Illustrator 23.01,
When expanding Right-To-Left text boxes,
all the numbers are removed.See attached video.
(the numbers also don't get selected with "select all")I'm on Windows 10, but something similar seems to happen on Mac:

Cant Verify Subscription Status
Windows 10 64bit, Latest Adobe CC suite.
Says can't verify subcription status. Quits Adobe apps.

Scale tool not working consistently to resize pattern.
When attempting to scale the pattern within an object, the preview mode and regular screen modes do not reflect the adjustment input. If I close the program and open it back up it sometimes works again. If I play with other settings within the dialogue box is sometimes comes back as well but never consistently.

Illustrator artboard turns white and keeps flashing
Artwork disappears and everything flashes. Everytime I click cursor its happening. But its only happening on my 2018 Macbook pro. I updated to big sur and Illustrator 2021 in the past week.

Crash after trying to delete crop marks fx
Whenever I try to delete the crop marks effect on a document Illustrator just crashes. At first I thought it was because the document was made on a previews version of AI but it's also happening with new documents whenever I apply crop marks fx and then try to delete those crop marks later.
I'm using latest version of Illustrator updated about 3 days ago.System Configuration:

Not able to move symbol onto extruded shape
When I try to move a symbol onto my rectangluar prism that I extruded from a rectangle, it's a total mess. The symbol is a small area in a large bounding box for no apparent reason, and when I try to align the art onto one of the faces, it snaps back to its original position. So I can't move the art to get to the place it needs to be to properly map onto the 3d object. The entire mapping onto an extruded object is broken. Inaccurate shapes for extremely small complex shapes
Windows 10 V24.3
Open file (new or existing), Specs 10000x5000 px.
Zoom in to 64000%.
Select Pencil Tool. Double click settings (ensure color fill).
No stroke. Any color fill.
Draw complex, but small shape.
Problem: Shape is not held. Not enough anchors are added to keep original draw accurate. Add anchor should not be needed for quick workflow.In my example. Drawing small lakes on a large world map. This changes the shape of my lakes, or I must make them bigger, but that will change the accuracy of my map.

Art Recolor crashes Illustrator
Using a new MBP 13" M1, and attempting to re-color artwork causes the spinning beach ball which never goes away. Illustrator remains open and non-responsive, and the only resolution is a hard reboot via the power button or command line (force quit doesn't work). Yikes!

Report Font Bug Error
ERROR: Creating a design/file using a a font, when saved and previewed in AI and or in another program. The Font changes completely.

Gradient stroke cannot be cut and pasted.
Reproduction:
- Draw a path with a gradient stroke and no fill.
- Select and cut or copy the path.
- Paste. Normally, In Front, Behind, or In Place.
- The expected result is, of course, a new copy of this gradient-stroked path.
- Actual results range from a copy of the path with the stroke expanded, an image that was cut and paste sometime last week, or an error popup that says "This operation cannot complete because of an unknown error [PDF!]"
Seen on OSX 10.14.6 with AI 24.1 and AI 24.1.2.
5 votesAs per the comment from the OP, the LaunchBar clipboard manager seems to not be compatible the Illustrator format. The same happens with other clipboards managers, including the default one for Windows. However, there are reports it used to work with previous versions of Illustrator. If you have more details on this, or the same problem, — please comment.

Full Arabic support not available with multiple languages installed
macOS 10.13.6, Illustrator 2019
When any language version of Illustrator installed other than Arabic, the full Arabic support is not available. Digits Type and Diacritic Positions are missing from the Character palette, and RTL/LTR and Kashidas are missing from the Paragraph palette, and corresponding tools are missing from the toolbar.
Also, Arabic must be be installed from nothing - no previous language can be installed.
AI does have the Middle Eastern composer options in the Paragraph menu, and correctly ligatures Arabic when one is set, but RTL is needed for correct punctuation and number display.
