Views not updating, tabs not updating.
Views will simply stop updating in Illustrator. Outline view shows geometry that does not display in GPU preview mode.
Similarly, when changing from document tab to tab, the window will "freeze" on one document and refuse to show the newly-selected document.
None of this is remotely acceptable. I pay for and use the Adobe Suite as a professional tool, and I can't have daily failures. Trust in your products is swiftly eroding.
Please advise a quick and permanent fix for these issues.

Hand Tool crashing a lot
After the nee uptade the hand tool just dont work properly when using the space bar as shortcut.
Operating System - Mac Os Mojave 10.14.06
Illustrator version - 24.2 - Updated today
Expected Result - Hand tool function to work using the shortcut

Asset Export not respecting Clipping Mask on image
When dragging an image with a clipping mask into Asset Export it will add a white border and export at the original image size, not the clipped size

Cmd+drag does not copy artboard
Cmd+drag only moves selected artboard. No copy possible. No layers or content are protected. Option to copy artwork with dartboard is selected.

Fix NO handles on shapes
Shapes created with shape tools do NOT have corner rotate options available anymore.
I'm really starting to look into Corel Draw or really any other program just so I don't loose more work DAYS trying to figure out the latest friggin bug release - not seeing a lot of improvements just bugs.
How about you just leave things alone for a while and focus on quality and reliability.
That'd be nice.Adobe is making itself pointless and overly expensive with lost productivity.

Files missing text elements when opening in illustrator.
Illustrator CC 24.0.1 windows.
when i open files i recently saved they are missing half of the text elements.
I can open the files in adobe acrobat and everything looks correct but when i open in illustrator its missing.7 votes -

Smart Guides buggy at artboard corners
When resizing snapping shapes or objects, Illustrator smart guides alert user that object is being snapped to corner or intersect, however it isn't actually, and it's not until you zoom right in that you realise it hasn't.
Snap to Pixel is turned off. Smart Guides are turned on.
There is no 'anchor' at that location other than the Artboard Edge.1 vote -
Library disappear glitch
Had this issue in the past and it still comes up. Libraries disappear from my workspace when I click tab or some combination of keys that I'm not sure of. Before, I used to have to shut down Ai altogether but at least now I can go to the drop down menu to retrieve them. This shouldn't happen in the first place though.

Version 24.2.1 Crashes at Launch
I am working on a MacBook and updated to version 24.2.1. It functioned for several days and now crashes at launch. I uninstalled the application and re-installed it, but get the same result. I keep version 23.1.1 on my computer, and it works, but of course I can not open any version 24.2.1 files.

Can't move text along path - vertical line handles missing
The vertical lines that usually show up when pushing text along the path is missing. Even when using Direct Selection Tool, there are no handles to control the direction and placement of text along a path which is very frustrating.

The new document preset for print defaults to iPhone mockups. Letter and legal and tabloid might be better choices

Enter Key Exports First Artboard By Default
After selecting an artboard range to export, hitting the enter key as a method to export the artboard range results in the first artboard being exported, not the range selected.

BUG - perspective grid - ground plane widgets disappear
The Left and Right ground level widgets DISAPPEAR when the vanishing points are adjusted moderately far apart. There seems to be no way to make them visible again, which makes it hard to move the entire perspective grid to another location.

BUG - perspective grid planes disappear permanently
If the grid cell size is adjusted -- while some planes are turned off (with temporary SHIFT-hide function) -- the hidden planes cannot be made to reappear.
Select Left plane. Hover grid tool over an intersection in Left plane.
Press SHIFT. The right and ground planes disappear.
Adjust cell size with diamond widget.
Now try to make right plane or ground plane visible again -- gone forever.
This bug seriously interferes with using the Perspective Grid tools.

Crash on open/new documenti after window 10 update 4560960
After 4560960 update, illustrator crashes on open or new document.
Uninstalling update does fix it.Windows 10 home, all latest updates applied, happens on 10 machines, all different hardware.
Not sure if illustrator or windows bug. For now delayed updates for a week, hoping in a fix soon.
