3. Workspaces can’t be switched, managed, or saved

   NONE of my pallets/Windows opened into the application. When I try to switch to built-in or custom Workspaces, nothing changes. The Workspace STAYS selected as my previously-selected Workspace and none show up. If I manually go look at the Windows in the menu, none are open and I can MANUALLY open them and move them around... "Manage Workspaces" and "New Workspace" are disabled (Gray) and no matter what I do, I cannot change or override. I have quit/relaunched numerous times - same results.

4. Batching an action with variables works wrong

   I have an action that:

   1. Selects "Next Data Set"
   2. Runs a recolour script to colour the artwork based on data set values
   3. Then "save as copy"

   When it is run once it works as expected and saves the current data set as a copy PDF and advances to the next data set. When the action is run as a Batch Action the action goes nuts! It advances multiple data sets values and saves as a completely different data set name. This wouldn't really be an issue if I had 10 or 20 data sets, but I have over 1000 — so it is not feasible to run the action manually.

   Any thoughts on how to get the batch action to work accurately?

   OS: Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
   Illustrator version: 23.1 (64-bit)

6. Illustrator is changing my colors

   I'm working on Interl(R) Core(TM) i7-8565U CPU, Windows 10 Family. Latest version of Illustrator.

   I put the right colors on my Artwork on illustrator but as soon as I save it and reopen it, the colors changed. It stays in a dark green but it's never exactly the one I put in the first place.

   Example: I put #336633, save it. When I reopen it, it has changed in #006633 or 336733 ot 316738 or 356633 or even 40683c or 789c4a

7. Guides are too thin and barely visible

   Since the last update (23.0.4) guides are almost invisible, especially when using the document grid in combination.

   This is only the case when GPU performance is on. When it's switched off, the guides appear as usual. In the previous Illustrator version this problem didn't exist...

   The strange thing is: while dragging other guides, or making a rectangle selection with the Selection Tool, the guides become thicker again. But, when I release the mouse again, they become thin again.

   I work on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014) model, NVIDEA GeForce GT 750M 2GB Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB. MacOS Mojave Version 10.14.4. I also work on an external screen.

   EDIT Now I've opened another document, the guides behave as usual again...

8. Opacity issues with white

   Opacities are not working correctly. When I have a shape with with a normal opacity set to a level below 100 and above another shape that is white. The white appears as a color underneath and it should not. it should be invisible. Also multiply effect is producing incorrect color values. Please see attached image.

9. MY ENTIRE FILE DELETED

   I've been working on something every important and Illustrator CRASHED. Deleted everything, even it was saved to a flash drive. I've even been working on it today and now it's gone. I am LIVID.

10. new version doesn't work.

    when I click on New all I get is a black window with this code in the upper left hand corner: % CCXFNFTDIALOG_NAME , and no menus or anything

11. Scatter Brush - Can't modify settings after initial setup

    Hello,
    I'm running Adobe Illustrator 2020 24.0.0 on Windows 10.0

    There seems to be a bug with the Scatter Brush tool, which I've encountered in the past few releases.

    The "OK" button in the Scatter Brush Settings dialog doesn't seem to work; clicking it doesn't update the brush to your new settings. Instead, the dialog remains open as if the OK button was disabled (or the click wasn't registered). The same thing happens when there are no changes made to the options in the dialog...it simply won't register the OK button. Only the Cancel button closes this dialog (and no changes get applied, of course).

    Steps taken:
    1) Create new Scatter Brush with customized settings (all options set to "Random" with varying parameters)
    2) Click OK. Dialog closes and new Scatter Brush is created with settings per #1.
    3) Open the Scatter Brush Settings dialog for the brush we just created.
    4) Change parameters.
    5) Click OK. The button flashes as though it were clicked, however the dialog box remains on screen. Click again and same thing. Tab over to the OK button using the keyboard and press the "Enter" key on keyboard. Same result, dialog box remains open.
    6) Only the "Cancel" button (or "Escape" key) will close this dialog. The updated settings don't get applied and the Scatter Brush remains the same as before the whole ordeal.

12. Fit to artboard doesn’t includes stroke bounds

    Fit to artboard does not fit lines to the artboard that are on the edges. So when you export to indesign the lines are missing of halved

13. Rasterize not working well on spot colors

    I used to work in Illustrator cc 2019 and rasterize images with spot colors don't have any problem. Now in new illustrator I have a BIG problem rasterizing images with spot colors. Please see attachments. And please solve this, I have to work in both Illustrators because of this bug.

14. Can't place file on to artboard

    1. 10.14.6 and 24.0.2
    2. File > Place > Show Import Options > Place > Bug here... can not select multiple 'all' pages. Also, the fonts are not embedding from the placed file.
    3. Be able to have the option to select All or Individual Pages under Show Import Options.
    4. The selected page/s should be able to be inserted to the artboard with all links and fonts embedded.

15. Ligatures in Baskerville URW

    Although ligatures appear on the Adobe Font Library website for "Baskerville URW" and are visible in the glyph panel, they will not update in Illustrator text object.

16. ILLUSTRATOR 2020 CRASHES ON SCRIPTS - SYMLINK - APPLE

    Hi, We are using with our company the folder Scripts (Presets Illustrator) that is connected to a Cloud folder with a Symbolic Link (Apple) = Production workflow. It allways worked in previous versions but after installing Illustrator 2020 - Illustrator allways crashed when you go to main menu "File". Can you give us a solutions for this! Urgent issue for us !

17. library colors covert process colors to spot when bringing them into a new document

    OS/AI versions: 2013 Mac Pro w Mojave. Illustrator CC 23.0.4

    Creating process colors in Illustrator, adding them to a library, then using them in another document converts the colors to spot.

    To reproduce this bug:
    Open a new document in illustrator.
    Define a process color and save it to a Library.
    Open a new document.
    Create a box.
    Fill the box with the Library color.

    Expected: The box should be filled with a process color.
    Result: The box is filled with a spot color.

18. Unknown Error on AI 2020 Launch

    Mac Mini Late 2012
    OS Catalina 10.15.2 (19C57)
    Adobe Illustrator 2020

    Launching AI 2020 Generates pop-up message (see attached)
    Click Okay and blank UI loads (see attached)
    Quitting AI 2020 generates same message.

19. EPS files look slightly off in working document and exported files for web

    We have used .eps files for our logos for many years with no issues. Now, .eps files placed into a document (usually logos) appear just slightly off -- sometimes it will be the rounding of one of the letters, or a little chunk off the side of some letters. Some of the letters may appear to be outlined or thicker than others. In some cases, the issue is so subtle it isn't caught before going to print. Registered trademark symbols are often corrupted.

20. when you place a file, depending on how you click to place it on the artboard, appears just as a tiny dot, which you have to delete and go P

    Why not FIXING THAT so when you place it is placed the right size no matter how you lay it
