1. Track type doesnt work after last update

   Hi, our graphic studio has a client-a big financial institution, and his entire visual style is created in a special calligraphic track. After we installed the latest update there is a change within this track. When we click on the illustration/or change its color, the entire track changes and the original style is gone. The attributes of the original track remains the same but there is a change within the style, is looks totally different. It also doesnt work when we choose the track and draw new illustration - it looks different. We also tried to create new document , copy paste the illustrations and it inserted without our track style, so again it looks different.
   We are 100% sure that this problem started after last update, because we had a mac which didnt have updated Illustrator and the problem wasnt there.
   Could you please help us?

2. "File, Edit, Object" etc freezes/doesn't work

   After I worked for a few minutes in Illustrator CC, the bar with File, Edit, Object etc isn't responding and the only way to close Illustrator is by a Force Quit.
   I already deinstalled and reinstalled it 2-3 times, but it doesn't help.

3. Illustrator 2019 Crashes on startup

   I've upgraded to the latest Illustrator (2019), but it crashes on startup. I have tried uninstalling it and re-installing it, but it still crashes. I've re-installed it with fresh preferences, e.g. not importing settings from the previous version and it still will not startup. The same thing is also happening to InCopy.??

   Luckily I did not remove the previous version.

   Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it??

   I'm running a MacPro (Late 2013), 3.5 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5, 32GB RAM, AMD FirePro D500 3072 MB, with macOS High Sierra (10.13.6)

4. Transform Again doesn’t work with live or outlined text when transformation is made using the bounding box

   In Adobe Illustrator, I use the transform again tool a lot during my day to day and seemingly recently, it hasn’t been affecting live or outlined type* when it will affect any other regular object. Has anyone come across this on their own or know how to fix it? It will continue to transform the text if you scale up or down as well repeating moves but when scaling objects to certain sizes using the guides and then replicating the same growth on the text object doesn’t work.

6. Beachballing for any added effect in Illustrator.

   Any time I add a dropshadow or 3d effect, Illustrator beachballs until I have to restart. I have Mac Mojave 10.14.6. Illustrator 2019. If I use preview it's particularly frustrating.

7. When opening my files I have the fonts missing

   Missing Fonts. When opening my files I have the fonts missing. Meaning every font I used are all gone and even though I can see it in the preview but when opening the files the fonts are missing.

8. Fix the Dice Symbol please

   You have included a symbol in the 3-d Symbols library of two dice. These dice are incorrect in that any opposite sides of a die need to add to seven. In you symbol you can clearly see a 3 and a 4 on the top die (On a real die these would HAVE to be on opposite sides of the cube) and on the lower die you can see a 6 and a 1, again these would have to be on the opposite sides.

9. Nudging with arrow keys problem when in Picas

   OS X 14.5 Ill 2019 CC 23.0.3/23.0.4:
   This seems to be only happening when the Units are set to Picas:
   Using the arrow keys in the control panel to move an object "below" 0 does not function correctly. E.g.: If an object is at "0p0", hitting the down key moves it to "0p1" instead of "-0p1", then bounces back and forth to "0p0".
   This occurs for any value between "0p0" and "-1p0". If the starting point is less than "-1p0" then the down keys behaves properly, but if you nudge back UP to past "-1p0", then the value pops to the positive value "0p11".

10. GPU Preview hangs with simple file

    System specs: MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) • GPU Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB • OSX 10.14.6 • Illustrator 23.1.1

    I have an Illustrator file (attached) which is originally imported from a dwg file but doesn't seem to contain that much artwork. Trying to open this file (or preview) with GPU either hangs Illustrator or takes minutes on end to render. The same thing happens if this file is placed in Indesign and GPU preview is on there, even recovering that document after force quitting hangs Indesign.

    I can simply work around this problem by disabling GPU performance from prefs (or alternatively switching to preview on CPU, but then I need to initially open the file with GPU preview, which might hang the program). Just thought this info might be valuable for debugging.

11. Variable Font Rendering Distorts Master

    I'm getting some weird things happening with a 4-axis font I'm working on.

    Illustrator seems to mangle the outlines for some of the masters. I realize this font is doing some weird stuff, but hoping for some clarification if it's a bug in Illustrator or my font. It appears correctly on the web though, on Axis Praxis(Chrome).

    I'm attaching the ttf. It only has an 'H' glyph present. If it's helpful, there's more information about the typeface and intentions at the link below. This issue is related to an upcoming version which isn't available yet. https://www.futurefonts.xyz/scribble-tone/whoa

12. SVG: RTL text is shifted

    We have tried to import correct SVG with RTL text. The SVG looks ok in browsers(Chrome, FireFox). If we just open the SVG file in Adobe Illustrator the RTL text will be shifted to the right. As we see Adobe Illustrator pre-processes SVG but the result looks incorrectly. Are there some specifics of RTL processing that we can take into account? We aspect to see the same SVG rendering as in browsers. (see attached file : as SVG files can not be attached, I've replaced .svg with .txt)

13. Problem with center align and arrowheads (v 23.1)

    I have a few simple lines with arrowheads. When I try to use center align to line these elements up, the arrowheads swap ends on some lines. The alignment works, but when I try to undo this, the arrowhead doesn't revert to original direction? This seems to be a bug.

14. Workspace migration not working

    Illustrator v24.0
    Mac OS 10.14.6
    I thought it worked in previous versions. When I installed InDesign 2020, my 2019 custom workspaces were included. In Illustrator they are not included and I have to recreate them, which is a royal pain. Is this a bug or just a dropped feature?

15. Corner widgets are off automatically

    Every time i open Illustrator I have to enable the Corner Widgets. It seems that the preferences file for these types of settings does not update.

17. Color palette overrides fill colors and color modes in Illustrator 2018

    Hi, I am a design professor and most students in my class experienced a specific problem when we were doing an exercise to learn how to apply the correct color palettes to different logo files. Specifically, we created fictional identity designs as a means to learn how to create a production-ready bundle of files (a logo with versions in b&w, spot color (Pantone), 4-color process, and RGB). Almost 100% of my 18 students had their 4-color process file -- which was filled with CMYK colors upon designing, and should have stayed CMYK -- show up as being filled with RGB when opened after having been closed.

    Through testing this unusual pattern of error across all of their files, it appears that Adobe Illustrator will choose to show colors in the color palette that was last opened within the application, and if the palette isn't the same as the fill colors, it creates a color translation of what the color should be into what it want to show you. Stated another way, the students had trouble getting the color palette to hold the color information they entered (percentages/values of either CMYK or RGB, in particular). Regardless of what they had entered, a computer with one or the other of these color palettes open would override their settings. Unacceptable. In one case, I also witnessed a student manually enter RGB values, only to deselect the item, select the object again, and then find different RGB values in place than those I watched him enter. In 19 years of teaching, I've never seen this problem be so widespread across student files.

    For what it's worth, the Pantone palette behaved. The problem specifically is between RGB and CYMK colors/color palettes. PLEASE FIX THIS. This will cause major problems in real projects that rely upon color mode accuracy. Please contact me with information about the problem and/or solution. We would appreciate a follow-up.

18. Characters in Type on a Path appear rotated

    When trying to type on a path around a circle, the preview shows the letters rotating abnormally, but when converting the text to outlines or printing the type, it corrects itself. Would be fine, but I can't design what I need without the preview first.

20. IMPORTING png file = blank

    I tried to import a png file into illustrator and nothing happens, it shows as an asset but nothing is on the board. Other png files import normaly, just this specific one for some reason, I even tried to reformat it with photoshop and create a new file and no success.
