2. Lag on cursor and selections "sticking" to the cursor

   There is a lag on all selections in Illustrator 28.2. When I select any item I literally have to wait 2-3 seconds before I can move my cursor, else the selection "sticks" to my cursor and moves with it until I click again to drop it and then I have to ⌘Z to send the selection back to it's intended location so I can make the changes I need to make. SUPER FRUSTRATING.

   I have a new Macbook Pro with loads of RAM and never had this issue until the latest Illustrator update.

   Thank goodness I have Affinity Designer installed, because when I get too frustrated with Illustrator (my favourite app since 1994) I have a backup.

   Since Creative Cloud came into existence I've noticed more and more glitches in the Adobe software. Perhaps too many updates too soon, or not enough quality control or testing before sending updates out? At some stage the software will have to be rebuilt from the ground up like Affinity did, instead of building on old frameworks.

3. Objects are rasterized when pasted from the buffer history

   When I paste a vector object from the history of the clipboard it is pasted as a raster object. This bug is contained in versions 27.1.1 and 27.2 (Beta)

   I use the program for Clipboard Manager "Unclutter".

   Because of this bug, it is impossible to use the program normally
   No such bug is observed in Illustrator 26

4. Can't copy paste between tabs using the keyboard shortcut

   I've found lately that copy pasting content from one open document to another doesn't work when using the Ctrl-V shortcut. Manually selecting Edit->Paste from the menu seems to work as a workaround.

   I'm using Illustrator 28.7.1 64-bit on Windows 10 21H2

5. UI scaling reverts when using a 4K monitor

   I've enabled UI scaling to the second smallest option, and it initially works, but if I open a window from my workspace when the workspace is collapsed into icon view, and then go back to the full workspace view, the UI for the window downscales. Steps to reproduce:

   1. Set UI scaling to second smallest option
   2. Restart Illustrator
   3. Expand Workspace to panels (note UI size)
   4. Collapse Workspace to icons
   5. Click on an icon to open window
   6. Click on the same icon again to collapse the window back to the Workspace
   7. Expand the Workspace to panels again (note UI size for the window you opened is now smaller)

   Note: This only happens if the program is in fullscreen mode.

   Illustrator version: 27.9 (64-bit)
   Windows version: 10.0.22621 Build 22621 (Windows 11)

7. Older name is used in Share for Review

   When sending for review, I have shared it with my alternate email, and it keeps pulling up my former name- this was changed on my account setting in google admin, as well as my contacts list. How can I find out where it is finding and autopoulating my old name?

8. Erratic Page numbering in 'Show Print Tiling'

   When printing a large artwork covering several A4s, the page numbering after selecting 'Show Print Tiling' is erratic. As you can see in the attached file, there's two times 25 and 27, but 21 and 26 are missing. This is an issue if you want to avoid printing blank pages. I have to manually count to get the correct page number.

9. File Folder Permanent Deletion Bug

   I was opening up a file, and right clicked on a folder to rename it. My finger slipped, and I clicked "move to trash" which is right next to "rename"

   The folder disappeared.

   Ctrl Z did not restore it

   IT WAS NOT IN THE TRASH.

   It was GONE.

   Please investigate why files/folders are PERMANENTLY DELETED if you attempt to rename them in the open file menu and slip and hit 'move to trash' by simple mistake, or at least give a warning about PERMANENT DELETION. I am very upset to have lost a couple hours' work this way.

   Edit: The file location was not on my computer but on a network. I would a >least< expect a confirmation of permanent deletion since MacOS gives a warning when attempting to 'move to trash' a similar folder in the Finder.

10. When N key is pressed to get the Pencil, it says "an unknown error occured"

    I am in AI 27.0.1 on a 2021 MacBook Pro running Monterey. Each time I hit the N key to get the pencil, it says "an unknown error occurred." It doesn't crash, but I can't use the pencil.

    The problem got 'solved' by unplugging a Dell monitor connected to MacBook Pro. Changing the resolution also helps.

    However, this is not a true solution, but a workaround. If you have this issue too — please vote and comment.

11. Don’t delete preferences after downgrade

    This issue is critical.

    When downgrading using the CC app (from “Other versions”), the entire preference folder is wiped out, for instance from 27.9 to 27.8.1.

    It means that downgrading delete without warning years of work on custom shortcuts, transparency presets, default options, workspaces, etc.

    I lost everything just because I wanted to avoid some bugs I had in 27.9.

    At the very least, there should be a warning. Ideally, there should be no deletion of preferences.

    Even if the use makes a copy of their preferences folder (for instance by copying “enGB” to “enGB (backup)”, the backup copy is deleted during the downgrade.

    This is extremely damaging, as many professionals rely on heavy customization of their work tools. If a new version is unstable or buggy, they will downgrade to be able to work. If they loose all there preferences during the process, they would not be able to work at all (hello!).

    Example of preference folder: ~/library/Preferences/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator/Adobe Illustrator 27 Settings

    This issue is critical.

12. フォントが反映されない

    一部フォントが反映されません。
    現在確認できているのは「AB-kirigirisu」「UDShinMGoPro6N-Light」「TBUDRGoStd-Regular」「mplus-1c-heavy」「mplus-2p-black」の5種です。
    この5種がillustrator内の文字ウィンドウのフォントファミリーを設定の一覧に表記がありませんが、ブラウザのAdobe Font内にはフォントが追加されている状態になっています。
    フォントをアクティベートする、フォントを一旦削除してから再度追加しなおす、PCを再起動するなどしましたが、改善しませんでした。

13. 縦組みのアキ量設定が水平比率の影響を受ける

    ver.22以降（確認できた範囲）
    macOS 10.13〜11.6.7（確認できた範囲）

    縦組みのテキストに対して「アキを挿入（右・下）」を設定した上で水平比率を操作するとその比率に応じてアキ量が変化する。

    1. テキストツールにて縦組みテキストを入力する。
    2. 文字パネルにて「アキを挿入（右・下）」を設定する。 3.. 当該テキストに対して水平比率を設定する。
    3. 文字の縦幅は変わらないがアキ量が水平比率に比例して増減する。

    期待する結果
    縦組みのアキ量は水平比率の影響を受けない。

    実際の結果
    縦組みのアキ量設が水平比率の値によって変化する。

    回避手段
    アキ量設定を使わずにトラッキングによる調整を行う。

    これは単純なバグです。縦組み時に水平比率を調整しても文字の天地は変化しません。しかし、アキ量（上・左）、アキを挿入（右・下）ともに水平比率の値の影響を受けます。横組みと縦組みを同様に処理していると考えられます。

14. Strokes on a blend don't visually update in the stroke palette

    When I create a blend with a stroke, change the stroke it doesn't visually update, until I double click on the blend tool and reduce or increase the number of blends. Never used to do this, and is incredibly time-wasting and annoying.

16. 'Crop Image' shows incorrect dimensions

    When you crop an image, the 'Crop Image' function displays the final dimensions.

    However, these dimensions are wrong.

    It seems that 'Crop Image' is showing the dimensions rounded to the whole number, without actually cropping the image to a whole number.

    Crop Image should display the correct dimensions, otherwise this function is useless.

17. Type on path not converting to outline

    Operating System: OS X Ventura 13.4.1 (c) (22F770820d)
    Version of Illustrator: 27.7

    I have an artwork which includes some type on a path (circle). When I go to send the file to a printer (PDF), I always outline the text as we've had issues in the past. For this artwork I've selected all the content and selected 'Convert to Outline', which has worked fine on all the type except the type on a path elements which just disappeared. I restarted Illustrator, but this didn't solve the problem.

    The Type on a Path was part of a group, so I then drilled down to an element level and tried each part in turn. It was a bit random, one part would outline, while othesr just disappeared again. The font being used was Knockout by Hoefler&Co.

    After a few attempts I managed to get some parts to outline while others continued to disappear so I had to make up a new group using those paths that did outline properly.

    I've never experienced this bug before, so perhaps it's something new?

    The welcome screen options to launch recent files look fine. But it can take a few double clicks to actually open the file. And when it does open, it looks like it freezes (but doesn't freeze) but it shows the UI but where the canvas should be still shows the welcome screen. No matter whether I wait a few seconds or a few minutes, to see the canvas, I need to click the maximize/restore button to shrink the window. The app has to adjust the UI and canvas for the smaller window and starts showing the canvas.

    Replacing or updating an image often results in crashes.
    Before crashing, it loses the preview and can't be restored until closing and reopening the file. But even so, the crash is coming.

20. Illustrator 27.9 introduces severe choppiness when panning with fingers on trackpad rather than Hand tool

    When panning with the Hand tool, performance remains intact and panning is smooth. When using trackpad or mouse to move the canvas, frame rate is severely low, 10 fps, even on an empty document. This is a new issue that has existed in the past but had been resolved sometime in the past year or two.

    Using a MacBook Pro with M2 Max 38-core GPU running macOS Ventura 13.5.2, the latest as of now.

    This issue reduces efficiency and hampers productivity, making it unpleasant to navigate small documents and impossible to navigate large ones with multiple dartboards.

    Uninstalling and re-installing Illustrator, and erasing preferences, with multiple system restarts in between, did not resolve the issue.

    This issue is not reproducible in Illustrator 27.8.1, before upgrading or after downgrading from 27.9. Performance with the mouse/trackpad or with the hand tool is identical and runs at 60 fps on an external display and 120 fps on the built-in display.
