1. Free transform tool groups selected layers to one layer

   When selecting several Layers and using the Free Transform Tool, Illustrator moves all these layers to 1 single layer.
   I guess this is a bug or am I doing something wrong?

4. Ai crashes (hangs) after installing (and selecting) Google Noto Color Emoji font!

   Since Ps has added NCE (Noto Color Emoji) font, Ai doesn't recognize it! I downloaded the font from GFont (NCE v2.038). After installing (for "All users"), whenever I select the NCE font in Ps or Ai, those apps crash (hang)!

   If I uninstall the font (which I downloaded from GFont, not the Ps native installed one) and reinstall Ps, the font works OK, but again it doesn't appear in the Ai font list!

5. Illustrator Freeze completely and I have to restart the app

   Illustrator Freeze completely and I have to restart the app. It has happened 3 times only this week already. In the dock the app doesnt say its unresponsive. I am not able to move any of my objects and cant click on anything cause all panels disappeared. I only saw my artboard with graphics but couldnt do anything.

6. Libraries panel and Properties panel disappear

   When I click on either the property or library panels they disappear. I have to go up to the view menu option to retrieve them again.

7. Can't resize objects, issue with selection tool

   Can't resize objects like images or text boxes once they have been placed. Could only use scale and rotate for resizing items. Seems the selection tool isn't working as it should, or it's illustrator itself. I've seen this seems like a recurring problem over the years

   This often happens when the bounding box gets accidentally turned off, presumably with the Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+B hotkey. You can turn it back on with this key or do it with the View > Show Bounding Box command.

8. Replacing ': ' (a semicolon followed by a space) leads to doubling the next symbol

   As discussed at https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/illustrator-27-5-quot-find-and-replace-quot-issue/td-p/13765176

   If you use Find And Replace to find any combination which ends with a semicolon followed by a space, like in 'Test: ', using Replace All will double the next character after the space in all matches.

   For example, replacing 'Test: ' (with a space at the end) with nothing in 'Test: 80%' gives '880%'.

   Single Replace works fine.

9. Incorrect handling of mouse clicks on the Home Screen

   On the Home Screen (Preferences > General > Show the Home Screen When No Documents Are Open) the tiles representing the recent documents handle mouse clicks incorrectly.

   Currently, to register a MOUSE CLICK event and open the clicked document, the position of the mouse cursor during the MOUSE DOWN event and the subsequent MOUSE UP event must be exactly the same.

   Normally, to register a click it's enough that both DOWN and UP events occur within the same active area. It means that the mouse cursor can move while the mouse button is down (between the DOWN and UP events), and the click will still be registered.

   For example, this is correct for the same Home Screen, if you try to click on one of the Presets buttons.

   This is a minor issue if one uses a mouse. But many graphic designers use graphic tablets. And with a graphic tablet it's very difficult to perform such a click. Meaning that for a significant part of the Illustrator's user base the recent documents section is very inaccessible.

10. Hiding a layer doesn't hide the guides

    Since the Update 27.5 of Illustrator CC all guides oaf any file are showing whether or not their parent layer is visible or not. In my Graphic template i have a base layer for guides of different target sizes, areas and columns which are organized on named layers for each type of guides to easily show/hide them.
    since the the last update (27.5 AI on macOS) ALL guides are showing up whether or not the layer containing these guides is hidden or shown which results in showing all guides for 4, 5 and 6 column layouts as well as all text baseline-grid guides for different font sizes which makes the template unusable until I get rid of all layers I don't need at the moment but might need later!
    PLEASE FIX THIS again!

    A configuration modification has fixed this problem. It may take up to 24 hours for your Illustrator to show the changes resulting from this update.

11. Illustrator 23 and 24 Lags and Crashes

    My entire department has been having issues with Illustrator recently. Will work fine for an hour or two, but then slows to a crawl, takes ages to save, and eventually crashes.

    We have issues opening files as well.

    we have:
    uninstalled, reinstalled
    reset our preferences
    Updated drivers
    and
    tried ctrl + alt +shft open to save a safe version.

    nothing has worked. we can't even go back to previous versions because now we get the same issue with them.

12. The work area moves by itself

    The workspace moves by itself, I can't stop it, the arrows for moving in the program don't work, it's impossible to work in Adobe programs

    A text file named "gude<current date>" is created in the destination folder. Can't do changes to the containing folder.

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 27.3.1 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

14. Align to artboard can't change to Align selected objects

    The default Align Artboard button cannot be changed to Align selected objects.
    The version I am using is 28.0, mac system. I can't perform the point alignment operation, it will automatically perform the 'Align Artboard' function. 'Align' is a frequently used feature, so please fix it as soon as possible. Thanks

15. グループ解除のエラー

    データ作成中にグループ化したデザインをグループ解除を行なっても複数回行わないと解除されなくなっております。以前はデザイン全体を囲わなくてもグループ化されたデータを選択でも解除が1度でできております。1度で解錠できるように設定を見直していただきたい

16. Make it possible again to move Text by its Anchor Point

    When Text is baseline shifted, it is no longer possible to move the Text Object by grabbing its Anchor Point, unfortunately.

    Please repair that.

17. text selection issue with threaded text frames

    Trying to select text in the second column of a threaded text frame is impossible. The selection always jumps to select the text in the previous text frame. In the video example I uploaded - I'm simply trying to select just the top paragraph in the middle column - but it keeps highlighting the text in the linked text frame on the left column. I can never just select the top 3 lines in the middle column.

18. Error al procesar la apariencia de objeto al momento de aplicar el efecto 3D

    Al momento de aplicar el efecto 3D a un objeto, me aparece "error al procesar la apariencia de objeto". Ya intenté volver a instalar Illustrator y otras sugerencias, pero el error persiste. Aclaro que antes si me funcionaba, y de un momento a otro dejó de hacerlo.

19. Illustrator 2024(28.0)でブラウザなどから直接貼り付けるとハングする画像がある。

    問題の発生
    ブラウザやOffice系の画像をコピーペーストまたはDrag'n'DropでIllustratorのアートボードに貼り付けるとレインボーカーソルが発生しハングする。

    問題の再現性
    「外部GPUを優先」時に発生、チェックを外すと起きない。

    アプリ側が『新しい Retype 機能を使用して画像内のテキストを編集します。』の表示をしようとした時の「外部GPUを優先」時の不具合か?
