On Illustrator startup problem this popup appears and tells me it has gone into safe mode Safe Mode.

不透明マスクで形状のぬきを定義を設定時、不透明マスクがオブジェクトの不透明度の影響を受ける
再現手順
1. 任意の色を付けた矩形の上に任意の形状のオブジェクトを起き白黒グラデーションを指定し、双方を選んで透明パネルにてマスクボタンをクリック。
2. 背面に大きめの矩形を配置し。１の不透明マスクを適用したオブジェクトと一緒に選択し、グループの抜きを指定する。
3. 不透明マスクを適用したオブジェクトをダイレクト選択ツールで選択肢。不透明マスクで形状のぬきを定義チェックボックスをチェックすると不透明マスクでグループの抜きが適用された状態になる。
4. 不透明マスクを適用したオブジェクトの不透明度を調節すると不透明マスクの不透明度も変化し抜きの状態が変化する。しかし、透明パネルでマスクオブジェクトを確認すると不透明度は変化していない。期待する結果
不透明マスクで形状のぬきを定義を設定した場合、被マスクオブジェクトの不透明度に関わらずマスクオブジェクトに設定された状態を保持して抜きを設定する。実際の結果
不透明マスクで形状のぬきを定義を設定したオブジェクトの不透明度の値に不透明マスクの不透明度が影響を受け不透明マスクの状態が変化する。この状態はグループの抜きを設定しない場合と等価である。EN
Step and Reproduce
1. place an object of any shape on top of a rectangle of any color, specify a black and white gradient, select both objects, and click the mask button in the transparency panel.
2. Place a larger rectangle on the back, select it together with the object to which the opacity mask is applied (1), and apply Knockout Group.

Paste in the same place is failing
El comando para pegar en el mismo lugar está fallando, los objetos copiados desde un lienzo y pegados a otro de igual tamaño se pegan en posiciones diferentes.

Extrude on the 3D Materials panel is inaccurate.
The extrude function does not extrude by the amount I type in.
It used to work on my desktop but never on my laptop and now it works on neither. It extrudes but by less than a third of whatever I type in. Don't know why this happens or why its started doing it on my desktop too.I find it eliminates the usefulness of the whole 3D Materials panel.

Pasting text within text box changes formatting to neighboring type
I am trying to cut and paste type within an area type box. I have the type formatted with mixed attributes. But when I paste the type in its new location all formatting is lost and it assumes the format of the type next to where I paste it.
2 votesThis can happen if the 'Paste text without formatting' option is toggled in Preferences > Clipboard Handling. This would cause Ai to paste text with no formatting, adapting it from the target text.

Guides duplicate and fly away when grabbed
When I grab a guide (square made by me, not ruler) by the edge and drag it, it duplicates and the double is flying away, kind of like a floater in your eye

Make pressing Escape close Color modal dropdowns for Fill and Stroke in all panels
If we open Character panel, unfold any dropdown in it and press Escape — this dropdown closes back.
If we click underlined Stroke or Opacity in Properties, pressing Escape does the same.
But if we click Fill or Stroke button in any panel (Control, Properties, Appearance), to get the Swatches/Mixer/Gradient/Generate dropdown... Escape does nothing.
It should close this dropdown, as it does for everything else in Ai.3 votes -

Recovery opens Print.ai document profile instead of restoring a document after crash
This has happened twice in the past few days, the first time Illustrator unexpectedly crashed and just now it froze and I had to force quit the program. Both times, when I reopen Illustrator it tells me it's recovered my file(s), shows the correct document name (like Untitled-3, etc) and I press OK. It then pulls up a document called Print.ai which is just a blank artboard, maybe something I made in the past and didn't use? I go to the folder on my computer where the recovered files are supposed to go, it will say the folder has been…
3 votesElizabeth, the team suspects that can be triggered by moving the original file to another folder while it’s still opened.
Then, if Ai crashes, if can’t properly locate it and it leads to this exact problem.
Does it sound like something that could have been the case?

Why the the FONT i used are NOT LONGER AVALIABLE in Adobe premiere pro?
Hi Adobe community, a few weeks ago I updated a new Adobe Premiere version and since then the font I was using has changed and I can no longer find it among those available. The fonts I need are: Algerian, BlackadderlITC-Regual, Garamond-Italic, Onyx. I try to find these fonts as if they were extensions from the official Adobe page but I couldn't find the Algerian font in this way either... Can anyone help me or give me advice? Thanks a lot!

Version 2025 crashes more than usual and freezes when a pen used with tablet
With the last update 2025 there have been crashes, more than usual, and when I use the pen and the graphic tablet, Illustrator freeze.

Scaling envelope warped objects - makes object squishy after certain ammount of enlargement
Wraping an object with an envelope warp and then scaling it, makes the object inside squish itself after a certain amount of enlargement.

クラウドドキュメントとして保存する際にエラーが出る
macOS 13.6.3
Illustrator ver.28.31.ILlustratorにて新規ドキュメントを作成
2.御存ダイアログを表示しクラウドドキュメントを選択。
3.新規フォルダをクリックし表示されるダイアログに日本語（ascii以外の文字を含む）で名前を付けて保存をクリック。
4.3で作成したフォルダ内に更にフォルダを作成するため、新規フォルダをクリックし表示されるダイアログに日本語（ascii以外の文字を含む）で名前を付けて保存をクリック。
5.4で作成したフォルダ内で保存をクリック
6.エラーダイアログが表示され保存できない。期待した結果
階層が深いディレクトリ構造でも正常にクラウドファイルが保存される。実際の結果
フォルダ構造が多重構造である状態でフォルダ名にマルチバイト文字が利用されていた場合、クラウドドキュメントを保存できない。フォルダ階層が２層以上で、かつフォルダ名称がマルチバイト文字を含む場合、クラウドドキュメントの保存が失敗します。
これはver.27.8以降で起きる問題です。ver.26以前のIllustratorでは正常に保存可能です。
手元のテストではハイアスキーやルーン文字では保存できるがキリル文字はダメなど全てのマルチバイトがだめだというわけではありませんでした。以下のコミュニティスレッドをご参照ください。

Cursor/mouse glitching/flickering when moving around artboard/objects
Any time I go to make an edit, add an element, move an object, or move my cursor around over my content/artboard my cursor glitches and rapidly switches between tool symbols. I am still able to use illustrator and each tool performs how its supposed to however the cursor glitching is troubling when making adjustments/resizing things. I have restarted my computer and quit the application as well and nothing seems to work. I am using Illustrator 2025.

Fonts not loading Illustrator 24 v28.6
Running Windows 10, Illustrator 24 v 28.6
I have been trying to upload fonts today... all day on 7 fonts! I have uploaded, installed, removed, updated, rebooted, and reinstalled and rebooted again trying to get the fonts to load.
Of the 7 fonts I needed to install, 6 have uploaded properly. The final one, Bebas, has refused to be recognized. See attached photos. It shows that it is uploaded, installed and even gives an error showing there are duplicates, but the installed font will not open in illustrator 24 v28.6

Draw Inside doesn’t work when a clipping group is selected, requires to select its clipping mask specifically
Draw Inside is great. Draw Inside lets you create a clipping mask in a fraction of the time it takes to create it with Object > Clipping mask > Make. But it's got some annoying issues.
- Draw a shape.
- Select it and turn on Draw Inside.
- Draw some shapes inside it.
- Exit Draw Inside, then select the clipping group with the Selection tool.
- Draw Inside won't work any more.
- Switch to the Direct Selection tool and select the clipping mask — Draw Inside works.
