Full screen mode does not take up 100% of the screen when the Windows taskbar is hidden
Hello! In April update of Windows (22621.1413) developers changed automatic taskbar hiding mode, now it is hidden completely, without 1 pixel border. I think that this is a good solution, but some Adobe programs (Illustrator, InDesign) in full screen mode do not open 100% of the screen when the taskbar is hidden, leaving a gap of 1 pixel at the bottom of the screen which shows the desktop wallpaper, and if it is bright and contrasts with the interface of these programs, it looks defiant and it is not good. スタティックシンボル化した画像にドロップシャドウが反映されない
詳細：
「オブジェクト」メニューからのラスタライズや
リンクの埋め込みなどで画像となったオブジェクトをシンボル（スタティック）登録し、
効果「ドロップシャドウ」をかけたところ、見た目に反映されず無視されました。
同じスタイライズメニュー内の「光彩」も同様の結果です。しかし、もう１つドロップシャドウを重ねると、今度は２つ重ねた結果が表示されました。
目玉マークでどちらの効果を消しても、１つだけだと無視されます。
「ドロップシャドウ」「光彩」の混在も、合わせて２つだと重ねがけの結果が現れます。
同じスタイライズメニュー内の「ぼかし」は１つでも反映され、本件に関わらない挙動でした。暫定的な回避策：
＊画像化したシンボルに対して「効果」メニュー内から擬似的な「ラスタライズ」をかける
＊シンボルの種類を「ダイナミック」に変える
＊シンボル化（リンク）を解除スタティックシンボル化した画像に限定されるアピアランス結果が現れることはもちろん
そもそも１つ目の効果が無視されること自体が問題です。
また、すでにIllustratorフォーラムで識者の皆さまにご意見を伺いましたところ
自分以外の環境下でも同様の結果が再現できております。（下記リンク参照）
従って、本件の内容がバグや不具合にあたるものとしてご報告させていただきます。同じ現象を再現確認した環境は以下のとおりです。

Unmatching sizes for identical circles with Preview Bounds
When Use Preview Bounds option is enabled, Illustrator lies about the sizes of some of the identical circles on artboards.
See the GIF and the .ai document attached.Enable the option, open Transform or Properties panel and select each circle. Three at the top right will display the proper size, with the stroke weight included — 8.5 + 3.5px.
Three at the left bottom will be only 8.5 id diameter, without the stroke accounted for.6 votes -
3 Color Trace feature no longer working after v27.1 update
3 color trace feature no longer working after v27.1 update (also effects the other limited pallet trace functions) Previously the trace would simplify the colours of a trace, now it ads far too much detail and colour variants even when you request only 3. See attached simple trace, I wanted to keep the 3 colors from the original but extras were added (defined from low res original) this never happened before. I use this feature regularly in my workflow and have done for years. please fix this bug!

When N key is pressed to get the Pencil, it says "an unknown error occured"
I am in AI 27.0.1 on a 2021 MacBook Pro running Monterey. Each time I hit the N key to get the pencil, it says "an unknown error occurred." It doesn't crash, but I can't use the pencil.
6 votesThe problem got 'solved' by unplugging a Dell monitor connected to MacBook Pro. Changing the resolution also helps.
However, this is not a true solution, but a workaround. If you have this issue too — please vote and comment.

Cannot copy from one layer and. paste to another....
After the latest update, copy and paste between layers is wonky. If I copy an item from one layer, it will only paste back into that layer. If I make the source layer hidden and try to paste, I get the "attempting to paste to locked/hidden layer" warning. I can select an object, then drag the small box that shows up in the layers panel to a new layer, but this is a bit awkward....
6 votesThis behavior is most probably cause by Paste Remembers Layers option, accessible in the Layers panel’s flyout menu.
When it’s enabled, Illustrator tries to paste copied objects into their original layers.
If the option it disabled, but it still does not work as you want it to, please reply back.

Illustrator does not insert images from Telegram by drag&drop
When I try to drag and drop an image from Telegram into Illustrator, it inserts the text of the temporary file path instead of the image.
Note that drag&drop from Telegram to Photoshop works correctly. The same method can be used to drag and drop images to the desktop or other applications.

Cutting a line with Scissors tool then resizing it works wrong
1: Windows.
2: 2022 26.5.0.
3: Cutting a line using the Scissors tool then resizing it using the handles.
4: Expected to be able to grab the handle at the newly cut end and re-size the line from there accordingly. However as soon as I do this Illustrator reduces the size of the line by approx 50%, often meaning the handle that I have hold of is off the screen. Have to let go of handle, go and find it again and drag the line back to where it originally ended after being cut. Very annoying.6 votes -
Measurement labels cannot be deactivated
In "preferences" the option to disable "Measurement labels" does not work: they always remain active. It needs to be fixed because it is very annoying when drawing. Thank you.

シンボルをコピペするとコピーしたものと違うシンボルオブジェクトがペーストされてしまう

問題が発生したときに実行していた手順：
あるシンボルインスタンスをコピペすると、コピーしたものと違うシンボルインスタンス（シンボルパネルに登録してあるもの）が差し代わってペーストされてしまう。すべてのシンボルインスタンスがそうなるわけではない。
Adobe Illustrator2020ではこのようなバグは発生しなかった。想定していた結果：

Cannot grab corner handles on bounding box
Upgraded to latest version 26.5 this morning. Now, when I try and grab the corner handles on the bounding box, they flicker and disappear constantly, so cannot grab to rotate shapes or text boxes.

OS macOS10.15.7(Intel)/Windows10問題の説明:
線幅プロファイルが指定されたパス同士をブレンドした場合、再描画に相当な負荷がかかります。アクティビティモニターで確認するとCPU負荷が90％を超え、その状態が数秒続きます。その間Illustrator上ではレインボーカーソルが回り続けます。
なお、ver.25.4.1ではこの様な表示パフォーマンスの問題はありませんでした。再現手順:
1.直線をペンツールで２つ作成し、それぞれに線幅プロファイルを指定する。
2.そのパスに対してブレンドを指定しステップ数255とする。
3.意図通りの表示となるが、描画完了までに数秒かかりレインボーカーソルで待たされる。実際の結果:
微調整の為にアンカーポイントを移動したり線の設定などを変更するたびに数秒待たされる。期待された結果:
プロファイルを付加したパス同士のブレンドに対するパスポイントの調整でも以前のバージョンのようにスムーズに編集できる。回避方法:
パフォーマンスの問題のようですから、再描画が完了するまで待つか以前のバージョン（2021）を利用するしか無いようです。※添付のベンチマーク用データではシンボルの編集終了から通常の編集画面に戻るまでに１分近くを要します。

Illustrator 26.3.1 loses Libraries after computer wakes from sleep
Using Illustrator 26.3.1 , if you have your illustrator open and set your computer to sleep, the next time you wake it up and try resuming your work, libraries will be blank and say "Install Creative Cloud Library". If you restart Illustrator, it works fine until the next time you sleep your computer. Version 26.2.1 does not have this problem.

SVG Export Settings not applied
Operating System: macOS Monterey v12.1
Illustrator version: 26.1Steps:
1. Open .ai file or .svg file in Illustrator that uses a gradient
2. Export as SVG with the following settings (see attached screenshot):
- Styling: Presentation attributes
- Font: SVG
- Images: Preserve
- Object IDs: Unique
- Decimal 2
- Minify: yes
- Responsive: yesExpected Result:
- The SVG elements use the "fill", "stroke", etc attributes directly
- No <style> tag
- No inline style attributes in the SVG elements
- Object IDs are random strings (uuid)

Error css classes in svg export
In version before 26.2, applying a graphic style to a simple object (rectangle, line, etc.) allowed the name of that graphic style to be used as a CSS class in the an exported SVG. So a graphic style of "thick-outline" would become a CSS class called ".thick-outline" when the SVG file was exported with internal CSS.
Now, a useless class called "cls-1" is applied to the illustrator object instead, making re-use of overriding of the style in the SVG difficult. This is a regression that makes the usefulness of the SVG export feature limited.

White-to-black gradients in opacity masks don’t go fully transparent
For opacity masks, 100% White should represent a 100% absence of masking and 100% Black should represent 100% masking (like in Photoshop).
The current system in Illustrator seems very unintuitive and flawed – a basic white to black gradient does not even totally obscure an image/object at one end of the gradient.
It shouldn't be the case that you then have further reduce the opacity of the gradient colours to achieve a standard gradient effect.
6 votesMake sure you use RGB black instead of Grayscale black in your gradients when making opacity mask in a RGB-based document to avoid shallow blacks and not fading to a complete zero.

Using a sublayer as a layer mask is broken
Please open the file attached and watch the video.
Here is what happens, try to replicate it:- The document has a Layer 1 and it has a sublayer — Layer 2, which has one rectangle in it
- If you select the Layer 1, the Make/Release Clipping mask button enables — click it
- Notice that Ai underlines both Layer 2 AND <Rectangle>, as if they are both are clipping masks
- If you click it again, everything is OK. But instead, select the Layer 2 and click the button after

インストール時に同梱されるStartup Scriptのファイル名称が更新されていない
OS macOS10.15.7
バージョン Illustrator ver.26.0Illustratorをインストールした際にバンドルされるStartup Scriptである「/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Startup Scripts CC/Illustrator 2022/illustrator-20.0.jsx」ですが、このファイル名が数バージョン前から更新されていません。
これはAdobe Bridge CCにおけるStarup Scriptの読み込みに影響を与えます。直近の2021と2020に関して書きますが、この２つはBridge起動の際にコンフリクトを起こし読み込まれません。対処方法
１．ファイル名の是正
Startup Script内の各ファイル名を変更します。Illustrator 2021内には「illustrator-20.0」フォルダと「illustrator-20.0.jsx」ファイルが存在しますが、これらをそれぞれ
illustrator-21.0
illustrator-21.0.jsx
とします。
同様に、Illustrator 2022内「illustrator-20.0」フォルダと「illustrator-20.0.jsx」を
illustrator-22.0
illustrator-22.0.jsx
とします。
また、ファイル内のXML部分もIllustratorでは全て同一の文面となっています。これはBridgeに読み込まれた場合に全て同じ表示となり、バージョンの特定が不可能になります。
これは、以下のように「dc:title」部分を以下のようにすべきでしょう。<ScriptInfo xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xml:lang="ja_JP">

ご報告いただきました「../Startup Scripts CC/Illustrator 2022/」 内の「illustrator-20.0」フォルダ名と「illustrator-20.0.jsx」ファイル名についての問題を macOS と Windows にて確認いたしました。
「illustrator-20.0.jsx」ファイル冒頭のビルド情報には、「@@@BUILDINFO@@@ “illustrator-26.0.jsx”」と記述されていますので、正しいファイル名は「illustrator-26.0.jsx」と思われます。
従いまして、フォルダ名も「illustrator-26.0」になると思われます。また、ファイル内部の XML部分の「dc:title」、「dc:description」のバージョン記述ですが、製品名から「CC」は削除されておりますので、「Adobe Illustrator 2022」になると思われます。
担当エンジニアにフィードバックし、どのように修正されるか確認できましたら、こちらでご報告いたします。
