1. Swatches off screen

   Since the latest update, if I click the swatches icon in the top left menu, the panel appears but cuts off 2-3 colors on the left side offscreen. Please fix!

2. Cursor disapears when against text frame

   Cursor can not be seen when at the beginning of a sentence as it blends in with text box. Please make text cursor larger/wider.

4. Can't drag and drop or place png or jpeg files

   macOS Mojave Version 10.14
   MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports)

   Illustrator 23.0

   I try to drag and drop or place png/jpeg files and nothing happens. When selecting and pasting an image an error message says 'Not enough memory to place file.' This never happened before updating to 23.0

5. Can't create bar charts with numbers larger than 2,147,483

   When creating a chart with numbers larger than 2,147,483, the value axis will not render the number positions accurately.

6. Asks me to login to Creative Cloud when I try to "Find Fonts"

   When I try to search for non-native fonts that I've downloaded after opening a file from a non-Adobe cloud program, it says I need to go to "Help" and log in to Creative CLoud. When I go to "Help", it says I'm already signed in. Restarting the program and trying again does not fix the problem.

7. Layer Hierarchy Glitch

   I've stumbled onto a glitch which breaks my layer heirarchy when copying and pasting. I've outlined it in greater detail in the following thread. I've also attached the file where this occurs.

   I've been able to reproduce these results when copying a layer which contains sub-layers with clipping masks. This problem persists even after the mask is removed, suggesting the layers remained glitched in some way after the fact. This is important because it means the glitch can potentially spread through your file as you work with no way of tracking it.

8. Can't add gradients to fonts without outlining them first

   Also, would love to put the stroke on the outside or inside of font before outlining - never been able to do that

9. Illustrator uses UI scaling for menus from main display in dual display setup

   Windows 10, version 1803
   Illustrator CC (22.1)

   I have a dual display setup. Display 1 is 109ppi (27", 2560x1440) set to 100% UI scale in Windows settings. Display 2 is 282ppi (15.6", 3840x2160) set to 225% UI scale in Windows settings.

   Illustrator is set to 'scale to higher supported scale factor'

   If Illustrator is placed on display 2, with display 1 set as the 'main' or primary display in windows settings, Most UI items within Illustrator display as expected but menus and some other items become unreadable, because Illustrator appears to take its UI scaling setting from the display set as the main or primary display.

   If I set display 2 as the 'main' or primary display within Windows settings, and Illustrator is placed on display 2, menus render as expected.

   This behaviour does not happen with Photoshop.

10. Illustrator does not remember general unit settings

    Illustrator cc 2018 does not remember that i choose 'mm' for my general measurements and points for lines & type.
    Please fix that urgently, it’s soul destroying stuff, I really require it to work correctly as I operate your software with one hand & i need to jump things in & out of place & require the software to remember my settings!

11. Custom paper size in print dialog box is grayed out

    I am using Windows 10 with Adobe Illustrator CC 22.1 64 bit. I need to print on 11.5 x 11 paper. I can't choose Custom or enter in paper dimensions. Those options are grayed out.

13. Eyedropper, bounding box, shortcuts don't work, Text tool messed up...

    Illustrator CC 23.0.2 - Mac Mojave

    1) The eyedropper tool is pretty much useless, because it doesn't work on groups. I need to ungroup everything or make a compound path. This is very annoying.

    2) the bounding box sometimes disappears and I cannot bring it back with the usual shortcut, i have to do it manually, sometimes even that doesn't work and I have to restart Illustrator. Also, the bounding box cannot be reset on objects like a perfect square when it's rotated 45 degrees. That means I cannot scale it properly. And also the bounding box always gets stuck on clipping masks, but in the dimensions of the objects inside the mask, so there's a (usually) big bounding box that i cannot deactivate if i click anywhere, it only goes away when i scale the object and then go a step back (not sure if I explained it well)

    3) Some shortcuts don't work, like the one for hide/show guides. When I use command + ; it's opening the preferences window instead of showing the guides.
    Hiding windows used to be command + T, now that just opens the text options. The shortcuts for showing/ hiding bounding box doesn't always work, just sometimes.

    4) The text tool is messed up. After a while of working on a text field, the selection doesn't work properly. For example, I have a sentenced highlighted to make it bigger or change the color, but the changes are being applied to a completely different text field that is not even activated. Or the change doesn't show at all. At this point, everything gets screwed up and I have to restart Illustrator.

    5) Toolbar is mixed up. (only on Mac Mojave)Tools that I never use are at the top, i can only get the path tool through the dropdown menu. Same goes for Magic Wand. I have to search for tools now...Erase and scissors are in two different places, when they used to be in the same. not sure though if this is a bug or a "great new update", anyways i cannot drag the tools to other positions.

    I've had all of these problems (except the ones with text tools) for about a year now, and on an older mac versions too. I use El Capitan at work and Mojave at home, both with newest CC versions, both with similar problems. Only With Mojave I have even more bugs, which is frustrating because I thought the newest mac version would be most compatible.

15. Can't use 'Export As" as an action to export jpg

    I have created an action for export as JPG, but when I play the action, I got an error message say "can't save the illustration" The object is not currently available

16. Scaling with the Selection Tool

    I can't seem to use the black arrow tool to scale objects anymore?? Anyone else having the same issue? I've checked a number of different forum boards, but no one seems to be having the same issue. Any help?

17. Basic or Advanced setting for toolbar does not work everytime I open Illustrator.

    Whenever I open a fresh artboard of Illustrator CC 2019, I can't open the Basic or Advanced toolbar, It keep saying 'The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error. [CANT]. I have to redo customised toolbar again and again. Any fix for this bug? Thanks!

18. Cannot change the blending mode when the gradient tool is selected (windows 10, ai 23.0.1)

    Is this a bug or a feature? If this is a feature then it is very uncomfortable.
    In version 22 it was possible to change the blending mode with the gradient tool selected.

19. Unwanted spacing when hitting certain keys

    Mac OS 10.14.1 running Illustrator 23.0.2
    When entering text, certain keys will make the cursor skip around, not allowing the proper formatting of the text.

    I was trying to type G. Echinulata, and when I got to 'n', the cursor skipped backwards, separating the first and second part of the text. Using an upercase 'N' seems to work as expected.

    I've experienced this with lowecase 'n', and 'f'.

20. copy and paste only works sporadically with Wacom tablet. All AI versions up to CC 23.0.2

    From at least version CS6 to CC 23.0.2 copy/paste when using a Wacom tablet only functions some of the time and I can't figure out a pattern to the behaviour. Using a mouse on the same system had no such problems. This is either using shortcut keys or the Edit menu commands. Problem on Win 7 Pro, although I've heard reports of it occurring on other O/S. This may be a partner to the "sticky rotate centre" issue reported elsewhere and which also occurs on my system.
