can´t use kerning between two characters
Hi,
I can´t use the "kerning between two letters" in the characters palette when working on my Imac with Cintiq plugged in. This part of the characters palette is set to "Auto". The pop up with "metrical" and "optical" is not showing up. I can kern between two characters manually but would like to set a whole word two optical. The bug disappears when I am plugging of my Cintiq and working with the mouse on my Imac. Horrible. Fix this.

All printer functions bugged
Printing no longer works at all in Illustrator v22.0.0. Printing to our HP DesignJet 1100PS fails to pickup color representations as well as alignment. Additionally, printing to a laser cutter driver fails to render thin lines properly. Both of these functions work if exported to PDF, then printed from outside of Illustrator

Saving PDF Security override by gmail
Dear sir or madam,
I've noticed as i saved PDF in CS6 to send to a Client and i used password protection with no permissions (printing, copying....)
And the thing is, if you open the email att. in this case My protected PDF in gmail preview - you can print it with no problems. And if you print to a PDF file, you get the same PD minus the Password protection.
I think this could be a big issue.
So i see google's gmail now as an easy fool proof password hack tool.

Cannot uncheck rubber band option
Bug where in the preferences panel the rubber band option for the pen tool will not uncheck.

Align to Artboard: X and Y position not established within the active artboard
Illustrator CC 22.0.1
Align to Artboard: X and Y position not established within the active artboard but retains the global X and Y position.
When selecting and copying the X position of vertex (A) on active artboard (A), then activating another artboard (B) and selecting vertex (B). When pasting the X position for vertex (A) from artboard (A) to vertex (B) on artboard (B) it pastes the global X position. The previous version retained the local artboard X position when align to artboard was activated. Which is very helpful in maintaining consistency between artboards.
1 voteThis happens most probably because the rulers mode set differently.
You can toggle it with View > Rulers > Change To Global/Artboard Rulers command.

ワードで作ったPDFをイラレCCに配置して新たにPDFを作ることが出来なくなった。
以前はワードで作ったPDFをイラレCCに配置し、トンボを付けて新たにPDFを作ると言う作業を出来ていましたが、
最近バージョンアップ後？上記の様な作業を行ったところ、PDFはできるのですが、一部のみ表示され後は空白といったPDFが作られました。
他のアクロバットリーダーのみの端末で出来たPDFを開いたところ「このページにはエラーがあります。Acrobatはページを正しく表示できない場合があります。PDF文書の製作者に連絡し て問題を解決してください」とメッセージでます。
また、以前のバージョンで作成したところ作成出来ました。1 vote -
Brush edge dissapears. Can't see the shape of my brush. Randomly.
Cannot see the outline of my brush. Randomly it dissapears. It would be great if I was into random looks to what I do. But I'm not.
In fact, I'll hazard a guess that not many people paying close to £50/month are very into randomly varying results.

The latest updates
I've missed advert deadlines, because even though I'm on the newest Macbook pro, Photoshop and Illustrator have been dysfuntional, with artboards glitching, font sizes not being adjustable and glitching to the maximum size before telling me the font's too big.
On top of this, the work often dissapears when zooming in and fonts do not sync with your type app.
So I pay money for a subscription because you are industry standard, yet I've now missed deadlines, been hung up on three times by your support staff and failed to receive confirmation that you are at least attempting to solve…

Stroke/Fill Color Selections
I miss being able to just drag a fill color to the stroke box or vice versa. It is tedious to have the extra clicks to get the same results

環境設定の変更が反映されなくなった
バージョン21.1.0
環境設定を変更した際に設定が反映されなくなりました。
・一般/キー入力の単位と角度の制限
・単位/一般と線
の設定を変えていたところ起きた事態です。線を描画する際に何度か角度を変える必要がありましたので、15分間くらいのうちに何回か設定の変更をしましたところ、途中から反映されなくなりました。
(角度の固定を30度や45度や0度に変更していたところ、0度にしても30度で固定されたままになりました)Illustratorを再起動したところ、解決しました。

Selecting multiple objects with different opacities incorrectly reports their opacities as 0%
AI CC 2018 - MacOS Sierra
When selecting multiple objects with two different opacities (say one square at 80% and another at 40%) it reports their value as 0%.1 vote -

Illustrator 22.0.1 not opening in High Sierra
I (foolishly) updated to High Sierra last night. Now Illustrator won't open. Clicking on the icon, all I get is this:

Kerning Font Characters (Letters) Causes Curser to Jump Around
While kerning letters in a statement, each time I press the up arrow to give more space or to press the down arrow to shrink space between letters, the curser jumps to the second line in some random spot. I have to move the curser back each time I press the up arrow and down arrow. This is defiantly a bug.

My text is being converted automatically to shapes
I am working on a project (wordle project) and I have a layer where I put text; Every time I open the file after I had saved it, I find the new text converted to shapes :s. This is so frustrating.

Error on Artboard/Workspace
- Adobe Illustrator CC 22.0.1
- Tried working on a new artboard to learn interface and immediately started getting this problem - this happens when I select an object and try to move it. Then I am unable to move anything properly. I have been unable to find any settings that may have caused this. I uninstalled and reinstalled and have received this same problem on different files and art boards.
- A triangular cut out that appears on the artboard and causes the objects to malfunction when manipulated.
If I try to create something new, it disappears and then shows up again.

Scaling type reverts to original size
I'm trying to scale up live text and it keeps reverting to the original size. This happens both with and without the shift key.

"Preview in Browser" resets to Safari
"Preview in Browser" option in save for web window is resets to Safari everyday(After restart). Several times I tried selecting Google Chrome and set as default in browser menu, but chrome is getting removed from the browser menu automatically after I restart the Illustrator.
1 votePlease contact Apple support. macOS controls the default browser setting. You can validate the default browser by double clicking any html file on your system.
