2. svg parse failure for valid arc command

   The attached SVG file "bus.svg" is entirely valid and correct, but it loads incorrectly in Illustrator 2023 (27.5, Windows 64-bit). In particular, it fails to correctly parse the following valid arc command in a path tag's "d" attribute:

   A 0.50 0.50 -45.0 0 0 767.50 652.25

   If I change the arc command to set the rotation angle to 0, which has no effect on the geometry of the arc since the radii are equal to each other, then it renders correctly. Here is the same arc, but expressed in a way that Illustrator imports correctly.

   A 0.50 0.50 0.0 0 0 767.50 652.25

   I have attached four files (I had to add ".txt" to the SVG files for Uservoice to accept the upload):

   bus-error.svg.txt is the valid SVG file that is imported incorrectly.
   bus-error.png is a screen shot of how Illustrator 2023 views that file.

   bus-fixed.svg.txt is the valid SVG file that has that one tiny edit that makes it load correctly.
   bus-fixed.png is a screen shot of how illustrator 2023 views that file.

3. CC 2022 v.26.5.3以前で合成フォントを使用したAIファイルがCC 2023 v27.5で開きません

   OS: Windows11 Pro 22H2
   アプリのバージョン: Illustrator CC 2023 ver.27.5

   問題が発生したときに実行していた手順:
   Illustrator CC 2022 ver.26.5.3以前に合成フォントを使用して保存したAIファイルをIllustrator CC 2023 v27.5で開こうとしました。

   想定していた結果:
   過去に合成フォントを使用して保存したAIファイルが最新の環境でも問題なく開く状態

   実際の結果:
   ウィンドウのタイトルバーに「応答なし」と表示され、アプリケーションがフリーズするため、AIファイルを開くことができません。
   Adobe Illustrator 26 Settingsフォルダから27 Settingsフォルダへ合成フォントを移植しましたが、改善しませんでした。

4. Illustrator exports SVG with font set to ArialMT

   When we export artwork from Illustrator with text formatted with the Arial font, the SVG code has the font set to ArialMT (the old Postscript name). This generally isn't a problem unless the image is displayed on a system that does not have the ArialMT font installed.

   Short of changing the SVG code, is there anyway of preventing Illustrator from using the old Postscript name for the Arial font.

   It seems to be same with artwork created on MacOS and Windows.

   Inkscape does not have this problem.

5. Selecting a shape selects multiple unrelated objects

   I'm trying to select a shape on my artboard and it automatically selects multiple objects even though they are not grouped or linked together in an way. Also, an object is getting selected even though I'm trying to click another object on the artboard. There seems to be some kind of margin around that object but it is just a shape that I created, no clip mask or anything of that sort was applied to the object. Is there a way to figure out what actions were applied to an object when clicked? If not, that could come handy.

6. Can't delete swatch

   I have a random color swatch that appears in my Swatches palette every time I create a new document. It cannot be deleted. As far as I can tell, it is not being used anywhere. I can change it to a different color, but then if I try to delete it, it not only does not delete, but it changes back to the original color. Right now, it's some random shade of blue, but at other times it is a different color that persists. Here is a video: https://youtu.be/MVJKo4i0xfw

7. Illustrator 2023 - 27.5 Arabic Right to left alignment issue

   Hi, I am using illustrate 2023 [27.5] / MacOS Ventura 13.3.1 - Mac mini M2 Pro. Here we are facing an issue in Arabic text alignment. As per your help, when we paste Arabic, it detects automatically the language and when we select the language alignment and orientation would change according to the language. But here, even if we select the above steps the orientation remains exactly like English. Older versions we had a manual text orientation [Right/ Left] tool on the bottom side of Paragraph settings box, now only "Hyphenate" is available. Attached screenshot of the same. In the screenshot you can see I have selected Adobe Arabic-regular and GE Dinky-regular font. I have set my language "Arabic" & using "Middle-Eastern & South-Asian Single-line composer. But full stop & bullet is aligned opposite, How does it solve? I HAVE ATTACHED A SCREENSHOT REGARDING THE ACTUAL RESULT VS. EXPECTED RESULT

8. Keyword Search on CC Libraries Not Working

   Keyword Search on CC Libraries is not working. The input area franked by Magnifier icon above the asset thumbnails does not accept any input. Clicks on that area gives zero interface response.
   This keyword search is important for many users who has a project library contains over 300 assets like mine. Much more so when CC Libraries provides the order-reshuffling group-invalidating default feature for any attempt to relinking assets.
   The only functional part there is "Search In" criteria drop down arrow on the right.
   Currently, it's happening on Illustrator version 27.4.1 but this issue has persisted across previous versions.

9. [ExtendScript] RasterItem.colorize() does not accept SpotColor via script, but does via UI.

   MacOS 13.3.1, Adobe Illustrator 27.4.1

   The colorize() method of RasterItem doesn't accept a SpotColor via scripting, but can do via the UI, so there is no technical reason I can see why this it the case. It may be a simple bug. Also there is a workaround by using defaultFillColor which does apply a SpotColor to a RasterItem.

   Steps to reproduce:
   1. Start with document containing a bitmap (colourable) RasterItem and a SpotColor swatch.
   2. script: (adjust the swatch index to match your SpotColor swatch index)

   
   app.activeDocument.rasterItems[0].colorize(app.activeDocument.swatches[4].color);
   
   

   Expected result: colorizes the RasterItem.
   Actual result: does nothing.

10. Version History Panel not displaying any content (previous versions, bookmarked, etc.)

    Problem:
    Version history panel is not displaying any content for my cloud documents (.aic), such as previous saved states, bookmarked, or even a prompt that it cannot save or no states exist. This is happening for all my existing AND new files. This only started happening on the latest illustrator update.

    My setup:
    Macbook Pro M1, OS Ventura 13.3.1
    Adobe Illustrator 27.4.1

    What I've tried to do:
    - Restart Creative Cloud and Macbook
    - Create and save a new .aic file

11. 「レビュー用に共有」で塗りがネガポジ反転する。

    「レビュー用に共有」をしたときリンク先で表示されるドキュメントの塗りや線の色がネガポジ反転してしまいました。
    色々と試してみたところ、カラー絵文字フォントが原因のようで、アウトライン化したら正しく表示されるようになりました。
    アウトライン化前とアウトライン化後のファイルを共有しておきます。
    （正しい塗りの色は青です）

    こちらはリリース版（27.4.1)、プレリリース版（27.6）どちらも再現しました（Mac OS、Ventura）。
    Windows11のリリース版も同様です。
    いずれもブラウザはChrome。MacはSafariでも試しました。

    Join Tool Complete Crash!

    It happened twice and the second time around the recovery file was lost! Everything done to that point was lost! It's so irritating I can't believe it!

13. I can't scale objects, neither with basic arrow tool, it feels like this one is the same of the white arrow.

It just doesn't work, shift + click doesn't scale any object, nothing happens when i click on the angle, it only shows me the anchor points just like the white arrow...

    The problem got solved by enabling the bounding box back: View > Show Bounding Box (Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+B)

14. Slow opening of Illustrator.

    I have had the following problem for a few years now (therefore different versions of Illustrator, let's say from 2020-2023).

    When I start Illustrator, opening the first (I specify the first) document that is an Empty table or an already existing document that Ai takes an exaggerated amount of time! Then, after this step, the other documents are opened in normal times.
    This happens to me from different versions of the software, and it also happens if I close the software and restart it to open a document, or if I start Ai after restarting my computer.

    the hardware is the same. It's not brand new but it's not slow either.
    windows 10 x64, i7 4.0 ghz serie 4000, 32gb RAM and ultra-fast M.2 hard drive.

    Help me.

15. You just updated Illustrator and now can't connect to Pantone Connect

    When you guys updated Illustrator you made it so I can't connect to Pantone Connect - the arrow button to sign in to Pantone Connect after I type in my email address refuses to click so I can go to the next screen and type my password. And when I try to connect through one step sign in it doesn't recognize i already have a Premium account and wants me to pay again! This needs to be fixed immediately! I have work that needs Pantone colors right now!!!!

16. File adding images unnecassarily in file

    When i reopen a file, illustrator has duplicated and randomly placed (and sized) images from within the file or even doubled the link that was in place. It adds an additional image for each link in the file and also asks them to be relinked! Very frustrating having to look through and clean up the file.

17. I can't use the freeform gradient tool in Illustrator for some reason.

    For some odd reason, freeform gradient is not usable. I add in rectangles and saved images but nothing works. In addition, the other gradient tools are available for selection but have no impact on the image as well.

    I'm using version 27.4 (64 bit) on a Samsung.

18. Action to find replace T1 fonts

    Since Illustrator no longer supports T1 fonts I would love to be able to make an action to find/replace font associated with common fonts that I used previously to current fonts that I now have active. The action however only opens the find/replace dialog and doesn't complete the request automatically. It makes you reselect the replacement font. (even though in the script dialog it shows the step of find (x) font, replace (x) font, change all yes).

19. Illustrator crashes while working

    Hi! I have a problem, illustrator crashes while working. It started after reinstalling windows. I've already reinstalled Windows too and tried many versions of illustrator. I bought a new computer hoping that the power will be good and everything will work. But illustrator keeps crashing while working. There are no alerts. It just shuts down while drawing. I didn't find a similar problem on the internet.

20. BRUSHES DUPLICATE

    If duplicate an existing brush (calligrafic on user choice) to change settings is unable to save the new one. The button SAVE doesn't work.
