Layers Window Twirl Down Icon Issue
I only know of this occurring on the latest version of Adobe Illustrator CC 2017 for Windows 8.1. In the Layers Windows, there's a very slight graphical bug. A locked group within another locked group is expanded to show what it contains by pressing the sideways "V" shaped arrow to the group's left side. As expected, the arrow plays its animation of rotating into the downward "V" shape and expanding the group. However, when the locked group is compressed down again, the button to expand the group disappears and is unclickable until clicking off to another item in the Layers…

Flickering Cursor
The cursor constantly flickers after I opened Illustrator 3 months ago, and I cannot type anything anywhere in my laptop. Before that, I could use this software normally. Really annoying, please fix it.

Trackpad selection issue with High Sierra
When selecting objects or drawing with any of the tools, Illustrator is not recognizing the trackpad release, so objects remain selected and the only way to deselect them is to Command-tab out of the application. I was able to duplicate this problem on my laptop as well. Appears to be related to the trackpad because the same issue doesn't appear to happen when I use a standard mouse.

All Dialog Boxes Open Behind App
This is happening more and more, and usually when first opening the application. If some dialog box, typically a warning or something, pops up but for some reason then gets pushed behind or hidden by the main app window, there is no way to get back to it and no way for the app to function. Trying to click on ANY part of the app just gets the "no - beep", the sound that plays when you are trying to do something but something else has to happen first... like if a warning box pops up and you try to…

High Sierra drag/drop/copy/paste issues
Drag/drop/copy/paste lags, doesn't work in Illustrator 21.1.0. Everything (click/drag/copy/copy/paste) is so slow that it doesn't appear to work. Even something as simple as Help/About fails.

Slow response time
I have been using a my 2014 Macbook Pro with no problems using Adobe Illustrator. However I recently switched over to a PC i7-6850K CPU and two EVGA 1080 GFX cards. And I find that when I use AI after about 1 hour it starts to seriously lag... getting worse as time goes on. The only way I have been able to temporarily resolve this is to close AI entirely and then re-open the program.

Stop Button not Working
If I open something but I changed my mind, I see there's a stop button while it's loading, but I can click on that stop button all I want, it doesn't want to stop. What's the point of having a stop button then?

Failed SVG 1.1 Import/Export in Illustrator CC 21.1.0 (Win)
Isolate Blending sets to default mode on all fonts when importing SVG-files to Illustrator and cause ”bitmap fonts” on printed paper in web browsers for Windows with embedded fonts from exported PDF-files from Illustrator.
Transform lines ignored in SVG-Import in Illustrator from scaled Graphic/Movie Clip from Animate CC 16.5.1.104 (Win).

Free Transform of Text does not operate as expected
Free Transform of Text does not operate as expected; Text should rotate with the text box when using free transform - instead the text does not rotate. Having to stop my workflow to find the rotate command and then guess what angle I need to rotate is a time waster.

With "Snap to Point" on, the cursor doesn't change colour to indicate a snap to anchor will occur
I just switched to AI 2017 from AI 2015 and i'm noticing this straight away. In preview mode and artwork modes. Turning on Smart Guides helps in some situations but in other cases it fails to identify a Snap when an anchor is around. Snap to Point should work independently of Smart Guides anyhow.
Massively annoying.

Bounding box is incorrectly displayed on multiple highdpi displays
When using multiple monitors with different Hi-DPI settings on Windows OS, the bounding box for the selected item is sometimes displayed incorrectly.
I work on a dual display setup: my primary monitor is a 15.6inch 4K display @ 200% DPI scaling settings, and my second monitor is 24inch 2560*1440 display @ 125% DPI scaling.
When working on a larger second monitor, the bounding box for a selected item is displayed at an incorrect position, which makes the work very difficult.4 votes -
Not enough memory
Have issues with CC 2017 (latest version) not being able to action things as not enough memory. Seems to be that 2GB limit that Ai imposes as my system has 64GB installed with at least 40GB free to use. The programme is also incredibly slow with anything complex. I reinstalled CS6 version, and that works faultlessly and fast with the same files, with no hesitation at all! It's at least 20x times faster than current Ai. I'm on a powerful Mac Pro with Sierra 10.12.6 and an NVIDIA 4GB GTX 970 graphics card. I have disabled GPU use as it…

AI CC2017 has flatten my work file into an image automatically
Illustrator 21.1.0
I use a lot of paths and layers to create effects in AI, once done I saved it. When i reopen it to edit some features, I was shocked that it flatten all my paths into an image! Nothing I can do but re-do it, painful experience!!
I re-do (painfully), saved, reopen.....it works fine. I used that AI file to do adaptation, by copy the whole layers (file A) and paste to other AI file art board (file B).
But when I reopen file B to further edit, file B has turn into a flatten image....again. Luckily file…

Bugged redraw/tearing when drawing a shape causes window to scroll
- Illustrator CC2017.1.0
- Click and drag with a shape tool (e.g. rectangle) and while dragging move to the edge of the window so it causes it to scroll.
- The window should redraw the newly visible parts of the document as the window scrolls them into view.
- Depending on whether GPU acceleration is enabled or not you get nothing or you get the edge pixels repeated endlessly during the scroll until you release the mouse.

Strokes on text container disappear with Transform effect

Create a text box.
Deselect it.
Direct select the container path.
Give it a stroke.
Select the text box and apply the Transform effect.
Stroke disappears.
Delete the Transform effect.

Visual glitch in modified text when using the “Transform” tool
When using the “Transform” effect on complex files, the visual display of the actual text does not update. The visual display is not up to date, whereas in the source code (CMD+Y) it is. To update the text visually, you must uncheck the “Transformation” option in the Appearance window, then check it again to force the visual update.
As shown in the attached files, the black-and-white one shows the wired version (with the correct text), and the other shows the standard view (with the text that hasn't been updated)

ファイルのアクセス権が起動時に必ず求められる
Mac版についてになります。
アプリの起動を行うと、まず初めに「Adobe Illustrator 2026から、他のアプリからのデータへのアクセス権を求められています。」
という確認ポップアップが、表示されるようになりました。Macの設定にある、「セキュリティ、プライバシー」のファイルアクセスなどに関する権限をみたところ、追加がされていませんでした。
（なお、PremiereやPhotoshopは追加されていました）
残念ながら、Mac上では対象アプリを追加することができないようになっており、これらの対応策が見つからない状態になりました。同様の現象などで回避策をお持ちでしたらご教示ください。

Illustrator 30.2.1の最新版（26/3/14現在）
このバージョンにアップデートしてから今回のような症状が現れた記憶になります。

Swatches don’t display names on hover
Please restore the display of color names when hovering over a color swatch in the palette.
