Documents are marked as changed immediately after opening in 25.4.1.
Since updating to 25.4.1, many documents are marked as having been edited immediately after opening them, instead of after actually changing anything.
I have not yet tracked down if there is anything documents doing this have in common. The more effects they have in them, the more likely they are to have this happen.
I've attached one of the simpler documents that's displaying this behavior.

Duplicated symbols reverts to originals / or not!!
Illustrator 25.3.1 on MacOS Big Sur 11.4
Let's say I have 3 symbols, A, B and C.
A is the original symbol in my external Symbol Library file (blue in the attached video)
B is that symbol, imported into my current file and modified (I changed it to green in the video)
C is a duplicate of B, in my current file, also modified (red in the video)When I copy C, I expect C to be pasted. But it's actually B.

同一ファイル内にドキュメントをドラッグ＆コピーした時にコピー元のドキュメントのテキストスレッドに異常が発生する件
CC2022を使用しています。
テキストスレッドで作成したレイヤーを含むファイル内で、ドラッグ＆コピーで新規のドキュメントを作成すると、コピー元のドキュメントのテキストスレッドの最後に文章が勝手に追加されてしまう現象が発生しました。（コピーした方のドキュメントのテキストスレッドには異常は出ないです。）1 voteIllustrator 製品版フィードバックへのご協力ありがとうございます。
検証では、以下のような結果となりました。
- 提供いただいたデータで再現確認ができました。
- 新規ドキュメントで同様のデータを作成しても、再現ができませんでした。
- 提供いただいたデータを別のドキュメントにコピー＆ペーストし、アートボードの複製を行っても再現できませんでした。
- 関連しない他のデータでは問題が発生しない。
こちらは、データ依存の問題と思われますので、対応完了とさせていただきます。
再現方法などのアップデートがありましたら、ご報告いただければと存じます。

Brush strokes get displaced from their paths in large canvas documents
I found a bug that affects the placement of stroke art in relation to its stroke path. When creating a document that needs a canvas that's larger than 227" it results in paths being offset from their original path without any additional effects. When creating a document that has a 227" canvas the stroke art is correctly aligned to their path.

Illustrator fails miserably to correctly open/interpret most SVG files
Half the time when I get sent SVG files and try to open them, the result is strange error messages, and often a completely messed up result, often with elements completely missing.
I tried to attach an SVG sample, but seems this website doesnt support SVG either (and zipping didn't help). Doh. Didn't work to paste the code either.

Bug in the preview of the gradients in the latest version of the illustrator.
In the latest version of Illustrator 25.4.1 the gradient preview appears broken. The same file opened in the lower 2019 version of Illustrator does not have this problem.

GPU performance causes screen artefacts
In AI 25.4, when GPU Performance is enabled, at some point when working on a file, or switching between screens, thin vertical and horizontal black lines will appear. They seem to flash on and off for a second or more as though Illustrator is switching between tabs or other open applications.
I've tried to take a screenshot/video when this happens but it doesn't show up, if you look at the screenshot/video, it's as though those lines were never there.
When GPU Performance is disabled, the issue goes away.

Fix Creative Cloud - files can't be retrieved but cloud says no sync errors
Operating system: MacOS Big Sur Version 11.6
Adobe Illustrator: 25.4.1Trying to open a cloud document but they don't seem to exist/can't be opened as I cannot access my docs in the cloud.
I have restarted, updated etc etc and still, when I want to access my cloud docs Illustrator says "Something went wrong, please restart the app and try again"
I've also tried accessing from the Creative Cloud app where I have gone to my library and my cloud documents, nothing loads up - it just spins seemingly forever.
Weirdly though, in Illustrator on my iPad Pro it says…5 votes -
Drop Shadow Deletion Crashes Illustrator
I can apply a drop shadow to a shape, and then when I copy & paste that shape and try to remove the drop shadow from the copied version, the application crashes.

Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Illustrator RulerUnits returns Unknown for 'Feet' and 'Feet and Inches'
Illustrator recently added 'Feet' and 'Feet and Inches' to the available ruler units; however, when a user selects one of these units, the scripting side returns 'RulerUnits.Unknown' for 'activeDocument.RulerUnits'.
For scripting, the corresponding 'RulerUnits.*' value should be added so that developers can respond to the selected units.

Old illustrator files opening distorted and flattened on 1 layer
Lots of crazy things happening since updating Illustrator to 2022 from the 2020 version. Text on ellipse paths are uneditable, text on ellipse paths are misaligned, and layers are flattened.
No issues with files that don't have ellipse paths so not sure if this is a text on path issue or a ellipse issue.

1. メモ帳等の別のアプリケーションにある書式情報のないテキストをコピーする
2. Illustratorにて、テキストポイントやテキストエリアを作らずに貼り付ける【想定していた結果】
手順1でコピーしたテキストがIllustrator上に貼り付けられる【実際の結果】
テキストの貼り付け自体はできますが、末尾に“何か”が混入します。曖昧な表現になっていますが、“何か”は設定するフォントによって見えたり見えなかったりします。Arialにすると白四角で表示されます。
アートボード上では選択やコピペができますが、検索フォームに貼り付けることはできませんし、メモ帳等に貼り付けることもできません。
情報パネルで確認すると「Unicode:0x0000」と表示されます。1 vote -
Issues saving CMYK vector as PNG
I am trying to save my vector as a PNG file, something simple, and it looks good on the Artboard, but for some reason after saving it, it changes some colors, like some sort of blending mode effect and I tried everything, still not working. The RGB vector is being saved just fine, is the CMYK version that I am having issues with.

Unable to create "New Folder" when saving file on Windows 11 Pro PC!
When working on a job, I get to the point of wanting to create a New Folder to save in. However when the File Directory comes up in Illustrator, I click the New Folder button and nothing happens! Its as if it is not active at all.

Random text disappearing from box
Big Sur 11.4
Adobe Illustrator 25.3.1When I open some of my ai files the text inside a text box disappears. If I try to create a new text box to replace that text it keeps disappearing. This only happened to me after updating to Big Sur. It's extremely frustrating as I haven't found a way to work around it.

Running Adobe Illustrator 2022 v26.1.0 on MacOS Monterey v12.1 and the artwork disappears when I zoom in more than 900%.
I can use the direct selection tool to show the outline of the artwork, but the entire artwork is in the background color, grey.

Changing the color of a shape doesn't record as a change to be saved
This bug happens when I open an AI document, select a shape and change it's color using the "Color" panel. After doing this, the "Save" option in the "File" menu is grey, meaning that's no change to be saved, which is not correct. This is a problem because multiple times I needed to open a documento just to change a color and when I hit "Ctrl + S" that change doesn't get saved.

how can a note have more than one value?
this file shows a situation where the note shown in the attribute panel differs from the note visiblefor a script. There were about fife occurences in a file of about 500 art objects. I picked one and removed everything else, and also replaced the artwork by a plain rectangle.
To view the error, select the square and view the attribute panel
Then run this extendscript:
