1. Spot Colors in Linked or Embedded Images can be Renamed in Swatches Palette, breaking functionality

   Double clicking a spot swatch in the Swatches Palette allows you to rename the swatch. In past versions, Illustrator would not allow you to rename the spot swatch if it was used in a linked or embedded image. Now the spot swatch can be renamed whether or not it is used in an image. There is no warning that the spot being renamed is in use. After renaming the spot swatch, the Swatches Palette does not show the spot actually used in the image. Changing the color values of the spot swatch before renaming changes the appearance of the image, but it does not after renaming. After saving and reopening the file, both the original spot(used in the image) and the renamed spot swatch will be visible in the Swatches Palette.

   I've observed this behavior in the following installs:
   MacOS 11.5.2, Illustrator versions 25.3.1 & 25.4.1
   Windows 10, Illustrator version 25.2.1

   It is important that the Swatches Palette correctly reports the spot colors used in images. The renaming of a spot swatch used in an image breaks at least one of the save scripts we use in production. It also causes an error upon saving on machines with Esko plug-ins installed.

2. animated zoom malfunctions after placing images in illustrator

   When I place files from photoshop into illustrator, the animated zoom malfunctions. It's still turned on in the preferences, but it just doesn't work. This has been a problem for several months. It doesn't have to be a .psd file, it seems to be any format (admittedly, I haven't tried every possibility). Running os 11.6 & & Illustrator 26.0–however, this started showing up in previous versions.

   Yet another of hundreds of bugs that now plague this once great program. I'm tired of constantly using workarounds (that impede and drastically slow my workflow) to utilize illustrator. Not like it'll ever get fixed either. Thanks Adobe!

3. 3D effect cropping text when raytrace is on

   When I apply a 3D effect on a text, the effect crops the borders of the text. This happens when the raytrace render is on.

6. The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error [PARM]

   Illustrator 25.4.1
   macOS Big Sur 11.5.2

   • Launch Illustrator.
   • New Project.
   • Add shapes, or text.
   • Select all.
   • Rasterize.
   • Click Object to reach Trace.

   Tested on a New Admin User with the same result.
   NVRAM Reset
   Safe Mode
   Recovery Mode/Disk Utility/First Aid
   Tried with different project files and formats (.ai, .pdf) with the same problem.

7. Color theme not matching color in document

   AI Version 25.4.1
   Mac OS Big Sur 11.5.1

   When selecting a color from a color theme, it appears faded/darker in the AI Document. Upon checking the RGB values, they do not match the values in the color theme. I have attached three examples plus what the document should look like (after manual input of the RGB values).

8. キーボード入力がおかしい。

   エンターを押しても決定ができずに勝手に違う文章が出てきたり、デリートやバックスペースが反応しない。
   変換ボタンを押すと保存されてしまい困っています。
   以前から文章入力は不具合はありましたが先日のアップデートから更におかしいです。

9. Brush pressure sensitivity unavailable - Huion HS611 (MacOS Monterey 12.2.1)

   Option to use the calligraphy brush with pressure sensitivity appears to be greyed out, but all drivers are correctly installed and it works perfectly with Photoshop. Have tried most of the recommendations from the adobe forum but the issue persists.

10. Clean Up Unpainted Objects removes unpainted paths participating in groups with appearance applied

    Appearance fields are sometimes deleted when I do command Clean Up. This is a bug and needs to be resolved. As it looks in the video.

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.0.2 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

12. Path render error

13. GPU issues with certain graphics cards and Mac updates

    So after a lot of time spent on chat and phone with Adobe. It seems that I am unable to use v25.4.1 or v26 in GPU mode unless I upgrade to Monterey.

    However Monterey is in its infancy. I'm not taking the risk of upgrading yet.

    My machines both have the same GPU redraw issues, where images within clipping masks create echoed glitches of themselves across the screen. this disappears when GPU mode is turned off.

    CPU mode in Illustrator is so sluggish it's pretty much unworkable.

    Adobe informs me this is NOT an Adobe issue, it is an issue with my graphics card and it needs to be updated. however, on a Mac, the only way I can do this is to move to Monterey.

    It seems the only solution is to revert back to v25, which works.

    MacBook Pro 15" 2018

    Graphics card -
    Radeon Pro Vega 20 4 GB
    Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

    Imac Pro 2017

    Graphics Card -
    Radeon Pro Vega 64 16 GB

14. GPU not detected

    Restarted Illustrator and suddenly it isn't detecting my GPU.

    AI Version: 25.3.1 (Tested back to 25.0.1)
    OS: Win 10 pro 64, 20H2
    GPU: RTX 3080 FE: GRD 471.11 (Tested 471.41 and more)
    CPU: Ryzen 9 5900x (No internal graphics)

    Every other Adobe application is still detecting the GPU as intended.

    I was using AI without any problem, closed it, went for lunch, came back and opened ai again. Scrubby zoom wasn't working anymore -- ai didn't detect a compatible GPU.

15. Dragging a gradient slider stop changes the opacity of other stops on the slider

    Hi all.
    Since I was asked by one of the Adobe employees, here's my post.
    Windows 10.

    I am getting seriously miffed. After using Illustrator ever since the nineties I can no longer do what I need so, so often: duplicating a color stop in a gradient while keeping the other stops as they are.

    Say I have the following:

    Stop 1 - position 0 - Opacity 0
    Stop 2 - position 25 - Opacity 100
    Stop 3 - position 75 - Opacity 100
    Stop 5 - position 100 - Opacity 0

    I need a zero opacity stop on position 50 and 'Alt-drag' the stop on either 0 or 100 to position 50 to copy it.
    This always worked, but no more.
    Instead, in the latest version it removes the opacity values from every stop it passes.

    If I 'Alt-drag' an opaque stop the same happens, all stops that used to be transparent are now fully opaque.
    It sometimes even affects stops in the vicinity, sigh.

    I can't work like this. I mean, I know workarounds, but I simply want to get on and work normally (fast). Can we hope for a speedy fix?

16. AiRobin using 16-24% CPU constantly

    Every time Illustrator is opened (and sometimes after it is closed) AIRobin uses cpu constantly even when no files are opened.

    1. OS: Windows 10 Pro ver:2004 build:19041.1165
    2. Illustrator Beta 26.0.667
    3. steps to reproduce are above
    4. my expected result is for it to only use CPU when a task is needed

17. Text Frame loses UID when moved along with compound path art in a different layer

    OS: Windows 10 Pro
    Illustrator 2022

    Steps to reproduce issue:
    Create a text frame and a compound path art in different layers
    Add UID to textframe using SDK
    Select both textframe and path art together, then move them
    Text frame loses UID, so we cannot get text frame using UID anymore
    This happens even if we saved the file after adding uid, closed and re-opened it

18. Radial Repeat Shift angle constraint

    When resizing a radial repeat object, holding Shift does nothing.
    It is expected to constraint the rotation angle to 45°, but it does not.

    Holding Alt is expected to create copies, I guess, as well.

19. GPU not working with Wacom when using Illustrator

    When using my Wacom Cintiq Illustrator colours de saturate and fade. When I uncheck GPU performance the problem disappears and the colours return to as they should be. But I want to use my GPU for complex artwork
    The problem does not occur on my desktop monitor only on my Cintiq.
    I am using a Mac

20. Inconsistent undo behavior when making a compound shape with a clipping mask

    I understand this may not be as common a use-case, but while trying to figure something out, I was puzzled when undo did not return to the state I was expecting. Below are the steps to reproduce this issue:

    Create a shape, such as a rectangle. Give it a color.
    Create a different shape and place it somewhere overlapping the first shape. Give it a different color.
    Select both shapes and create a Clipping Mask by right-clicking and selecting "Make Clipping Mask"
    You should now see only the overlapping parts of both shapes, as expected.
    Open the Pathfinder panel and click on the menu icon and choose "Make Compound Shape".
    The outlines of both shapes should be visible.
    Undo, and the overlapped clipped shape step is skipped and instead, only the first shape is colored and the selection is a group, which was never made.
    Undo again and the second shape is colored.

    I'm not sure what the expected result should be. Maybe as if they were never clipped at all? To be honest, I was looking for something like the Merge function, without creating empty fill shapes. This doesn't do anything like that though.
    It looks like instead of making a Clipping Mask on redo, it's just grouping? I've provided a video.

    My system is Windows 10, 20H2, 19042.1165.
    Illustrator version is 25.4.1
