   Lors de l'import de fichiers DXF à partir d'un logiciel CAD (Solid Edge), chaque pièce de l'assemblage était reconnue par Illustrator (1 pièce = 1 calque).
   Ce n'est plus le cas depuis les dernières mise à jour (dernière mise à jour qui fonctionne : 25.0.1)

2. recolour artwork > color library > pantone ...

3. Shape tool bug

   I have opened Illustrator today and a troubleshooting message appears where the shape tool is not working. Illustrator has since opened, and the shape tool is no longer there on the toolbar.

   Please can you assist and fix ASAP?

4. Discard white overprint is disabled when background save is enabled

   • version 24.x
   • Windows and macOS
   • background save enabled

   At this time, the operation related to discarding the white overprint is not performed and the settings is invalidated.
   The behavior itself is the same as another bug, but it is not completely fixed 24.1.x.

5. Can’t save using a file name with more then 10 characters

6. Illustrator crashes, hitting enter when importing a file

   When choosing a file to import and you hit the enter button on the keyboard the whole app crashes ... impossible to do anything it just freezes and makes my whole Mac mini M1 freeze!!!!!

   And if you have an other adobe app open this one will freeze too!

   Please fix this, it's huge problem

7. Bug with text with DXF exported from Illustrator

   With the new update 25.2.3 I have problems exporting DXF files from Illustrator.

   Each time I do it the texts change of size to a very, very small one.

   I export graphics to use them in Automatized Cut Machines but the texts do not appear in the right size. I had to keep and old version of illustrator 25.0 in order to be able to still use those machines.

   What can I do?

8. Eyedropper creates buggy hidden/invisible/non-existent appearances on text objects

   This bug only seems to work on Windows.
   Illustrator version: 25.2.1

   Creating a default text object, selecting it, then clicking on it with the eyedropper tool creates an invisible/pseudo-existing appearance on the text. This is evident in that going to the top menu shows that Object > Expand... is greyed out while Object > Expand Appearance is not. You can also see in the Layers panel that the text object has its selection circle filled with grey, indicating that it has an appearance. Yet checking the Appearance panel shows that there is no appearance at all (except whatever is the default).

   This apparent bug may or may not be limited to text objects. Although creating a path object and clicking on a default text object with the eyedropper tool shows that the bug occurs since a pseudo-existing appearance will appear on the path object. So something seems to be going on with text objects specifically at least.

   This bug only seems to work on Windows.
   Illustrator version: 25.2.1

9. Recovery Files Missing, Autorecovery enabled

   I had auto-recovery on before Illustrator crashed however when I restarted the program I received a prompt that said auto-recovery is now disabled. I tried to manually recover the files from the data recovery folder but there are no files in the folder even though it say the most recent update was when I last opened the missing files.

10. Help Cannot open Illustrator 2021 on MAC w/Catalina OS.

    Help...is anyone else having the issue of Illustrator on a Mac with Catalina OS, getting an error msg. saying I have read-only and need to change preferences to read-write??? I already saw and read thru the fix. I made sure my settings where set to that, they already were and am still gettng this error msg. What is happening?

11. Eyedropper making everything white

    When I select a shape and try to use the eyedropper tool to make it the same color as another shape it turns white. All of my layers are unlocked and visible so I am not sure what it going on.

12. Bug: In-app "Learn" window is just a peach colored rectangle

    Computer:

    MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014)
    2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
    16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
    NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2 GB

    OS:

    Mac Big Sur 11.2.3

    AI version:

    v.25.2.1

    Steps:

    I have never accessed the in-app "Learn" tutorial feature, but after updating to AI v.25.2.1 today, I decided to try it by clicking the lightbulb icon in the upper toolbar.

    Expected result:

    The Learn window would open up displaying various clickable tutorials.

    Actual result:

    The Learn window opened up, but instead of displaying clickable tutorials, the entire window is filled with a peach colored rectangle. Hovering over the peach colored rectangle in some spots changes the arrow cursor to the text input cursor, and in other spots, changes the arrow cursor to the pointing finger cursor, suggesting a clickable item.

    Computer:

    MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014)
    2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7

13. Scrubby Zoom Suddenly Stops Working

    2019 MacBook Pro with Catalina 10.15.7. Adobe Illustrator 25.2.

    Scrubby zoom suddenly stops working, even though GPU and Animated Zoom are still enabled within Preferences. This happens once or twice a week; the only way I have found to resolve is restarting the MacBook.

    It happens while working in relatively small/simple documents, all of a sudden, without making any changes to Preferences.

    Animated zoom works only in GPU rendering mode and won’t work in specialized modes like Pixel or Overprint Preview — they still rely on CPU calculations.

14. Capture not updating

    It seems my Adobe Capture library is not updated in Illustrator (in order to access new Colors or gradient I recently captured (works fine in Fresco)…)

15. Illustrator automatically changing colors

    When you place image (RGB) into Illustrator it would preserve the color profile. Now it changes it automatically and this seems to be a common problem if you search the internet. Fix it as it makes this program far less useful.

16. Smooth Blend Tool Broken

    On the Mac OS, when blending between two shapes using the smooth blend tool, 7/10 times the blend will not be smooth but have one step between the shapes. I can instead create lots of steps as a work-around, but the designated tool does not work. If the shapes are separated far enough, more (but few) steps will appear.

    In the images below, you will see an attempted blend between a dark green gradient square, and a light green square. I am using the smooth blend tool.

17. Falla al guardar los documentos de ilustrator

    Al momento de guardar los documentos, por muy sencillo que sea, solo trazos básico, no importa lo que contenga, siempre se demora muchísimo al guardar, y al hacerlo, la pantalla se vuelve negra y solo se visualizan algunas ventanas de herramientas, y queda todo en negro hasta que regresa a la normalidad cuando finalmente guardó los cambios. Estoy trabajando con la última actualización (25.2.1), hoy la desinstale y la volví a instalar para ver si tenía alguna mejoría, pero sigue igual.

19. AI loses GPU support when using rulers or accessing grouped elements

    Hello @ Adobe!
    Both of my macs (Big Sur, latest updates) show the same reproducible bug with Adobe Ai Version 25 (incl. 25.2): GPU support works just fine when I open a new document and start from scratch. Turning on Rulers or accessing grouped elements by double click instantly turns off GPU support wich I cannot turn back on. After that Ai responds slowly and overall it’s no pleasure to work with. To fix this I need to make sure that in a document all rulers and guides are switched off/deleted. With these measures I can reopen the document and have full GPU rendering until I begin using rulers/guides again.

    These issues are the same on my 2020 MBP 13 M1 and my 2019 iMac i9 with Vega48. First I thought it was because of the new M1 Macs with Rosetta2 but on the Intel Mac with a very different graphics card it was just the same. The problems unfortunately persists.

    I tried un/reinstalling, deleting caches and preferences etc. – nothing worked for Ai from 25.0 to 25.1.

    On my main machine (iMac) I downgraded to Ai 24.3. This solved the issue and I’m able to work again.

    For me Ai 25.x is a completely broken version. I would be very happy if Adobe would quickly provide a bug fix here.

20. smart guides not working in clipping mask

    I have had this problem for probably the last 3 versions or more ... but generally, when I've masked a number of objects inside of a clipping mask, then double-click to edit the contents inside the clipping mask, smart guides no longer function. Or, more correctly, very occasionally they will, but generally not.

    I always update to the latest versions of Illustrator. Currently I'm using 25.2.1
