"What's new" reminder will not stop appearing every time I start Illustrator.
the 'see what's new' reminder in the upper right will not stop appearing every time I start Illustrator. Deleting preferences doesn't help. Clicking remind later is getting to be annoying.

Illustrator 2021 (25.1.0) slows, freezes, crashes every 1-3 hours.
I have tried to use Illustrator 25.1.0 on 3 different laptops, ALL instances resulted in the same problem. The application will perform normally for a while, then at some point, typically between 1-3 hours of constant use, the function you are asking for via mouse input will freeze. (examples: moving a text box or shape, highlighting text, etc.) Sometimes the freeze will be preceded by a slight slow down in responsiveness. Once there is a freeze, the menu pull downs are inoperable too, so you can't ask it to save. When it freezes, a recovery file may or may not…

Cannot open cloud documents on another device
I have an iMac and Macbook Pro both running Catalina, I am using both AI 2020 and 2021 (on both devices) as I have a plugin that is not yet supported on 2021.
This problem occurs on both devices and both versions of AI, when I work on one device and save to cloud, I cannot then open the saved file on the other device. This works in both directions, no matter which device/version I create the file on. I have to close down illustrator completely and/or restart the device (which is crazy as it is so detrimental to workflow).…4 votes -

Flickering Background on resume
Mac mini M1, grey background seems to stutter/flicker the Ai has been open and the Mac is woken up from sleep. Happens every time. Quiz and reopen fixes it most times. See video

作成したガイドレイヤーを削除すると、消えずに増える
- macOS(Mojave 10.14.6) Illustrator2021(25.2.3)およびIllustrator2018頃から 2.レイヤーパネル上で作成されたガイドレイヤーを削除。 (この時のガイドレイヤーは同一環境で作成された.Aiデータの場合も、別環境で作成された.Aiデータの場合も含みます。また、削除に関してもレイヤーパネル下部ボタンでの削除、キーボードのdeleteを使用した場合どちらも含みます。）
- ガイドレイヤーが、通常のレイヤー同様に削除される。
- ガイドレイヤーは削除されず、何も描画されていないように見える空のレイヤー(レイヤー名はガイドレイヤー)が複製される。元の削除操作を行ったレイヤーは複製されたレイヤー同様に何も描画されていないように見える空のレイヤーになる。再度、複製されたレイヤーと元の削除したいレイヤーをレイヤーパネル上でまとめて選択し削除すると通常通りに消える。

Illustrator keeps shutting when I try to save my work and all of my work is lost.
It should have an autosave option or a restore work option when it quits unexpectedly. But also there is a but when trying to save
a document that shuts Illustrator and I've lost hours of work due to it so that needs to get fixed.3 votes -
Illustrator CC 2020 Saving Unknown Error
Illustrator won't let me save my files. I've tried to open another new file to save my files and the same error has occurred unless I have the "Create PDF Compatible File" option turned off. I have never encountered this before and this is my first time encountering this problem.

No tools available
Mac OSX 11.4 (20F71). Illustrator 25.3.1
Very often when working in a document (either a new document or an existing document) the tool I am using will change to a crossed-through pencil and beep whenever I attempt to do anything. I have to restart the app, and this often does not restore the tools to a functioning state. This is incredibly annoying and renders Illustrator virtually useless.1 vote -
Export as SVG does not properly respect letter-spacing style on text
When saving as SVG, the exporter temperamentally interprets letter-spacing as either 0 (no style exported) or "1". E.g. within Illustrator I might set letter-spacing to 185, this would be exported as just "1" without a unit. Furthermore, if I open the file again, Illustrator interprets this as "90", and if I save again, the exporter exports without any letter-spacing.

This causes confusion and wasted time because nothing was changing as if I was doing something wrong. Opacity mask broken in illustrator 25.1 update
When working with opacity masks there is a bug where the mask doesn't show up until you select and unselect the Clip option.

Save File Operation Failed
Hello. Since upgrading to OSX Big Sur, I'm having extreme difficulties saving files with Illustrator CC.
When choosing "Save As", nine times out of ten I receive the message "The Save Opration Failed to connect to the open and save panel service".
The problem is greatly increased, if you press a key as the Save As window is appearing, such as Command-D (to save to the desktop).
It's incredibly frustrating! Please help!

Tiles documents, Fit in window shrinks right column of windows
If I tile a larger number of documents (50+), first I'd like the ability to fit all in their windows at once, but if I got through and do it one by one, the column of documents on the right shrink a little bit each time I fit any document in window. Doesn't seem to be any reason for this, and it reshapes all windows, slowing things down.

When saving as PDF, downsampling does not function for images that are part of a transparency mask
Windows 10 - Illustrator CC Desktop
How to create issue:
Place a linked image. Use linked image with another object to create a transparency mask. Save as PDF. Adjust downsampling options. View created PDF with a PDF viewer and see that the image did not get downsampled. Also, look at file size of created PDF.
Release the transparency mask and resave with all other variables identical to other saved file. Open the file in a PDF viewer and see that it is properly downsampled. Also, look at file size and see that it is smaller than the other created PDF.

option key keps getting stuck randomly
MacOS Catalina
switching between tools via shortcuts,
the option Key shouldn't be aktive when it's not pressed.
The key sometimes act like its pressed when it's not.
The option key keeps getting stuck. A hardware problem could already be ruled out, that the problem also exists on another keyboard. The problem also occurs in Photoshop. I work with a Wacom Cintiq Pro (latest driver).2 votes -
illustrator crashes 25.3.1 when saving files
Illustrator crashes when saving to server or trying to open files from server. Iv had more success dragging files directly into illustrator from finder as opposed to using file>open. Also, having issues with illustrator saying that some files are locked when i try to open. using new iMac (24-inch, M1, 2021) version 11.4

Convert to Artboards doesn't work when on the layer exists a repeat grid object
I make a regular rectangle and try to convert it to artboard and get the attached error. If I put that rectangle on another layer, doesn't contain a repeat grid object it works.

Direktauswahlwerkzeug funktioniert nicht
Direktauswahlwerkzeug lasst sich nicht verwenden. Für die Programme bezahle ich ca 59 Euro monatlich, damit ich auf Illustrator verzichten muss. Per Mail und Telefon kann man niemanden erreichen. Eine Schande.
