  1. Text cursor on Mac with Retina Display incredibly thin

    The text cursor is extremely thin on a Mac with Retina-Display. In an empty text box the cursor is nearly invisible, having the same width as the frame of the box. On a regular display, the cursor has a much better visibility. You should auto-detect the screen resolution and choose an appropriate width for the cursor or you should let the user choose a size in the preferences.

  2. Rotate and Scale Tool sometimes affects all points on a path instead of just selected points

    In previous versions of Illustrator (before 2021), if you had individual anchor points selected and you used the rotate tool, it would rotate all selected points and leave unselected points stationary. This was useful for quickly editing only part of a path.

    Now, in 2021, sometimes the rotate or scale tool rotates all the points, regardless if they were unselected.

    Note that in my recording, the skirt's anchor points work as expected. But the sandal's points transform the whole group of objects.

  3. バックグラウンドプロセスが消えない

    1.バージョン
    windows10 pro ,V25.2

    2.問題が発生したときに実行していた手順
    2-1.一度ダブルクリックでファイルを開きます。
    2-2.保存せず、Illustratorを終了します。
    2-3.再びダブルクリックでファイルを開きます。

    3.想定していた結果
    Illustratorが起動して、ファイルが開ける。

    4.実際の結果
    「Illustratorの前回のセッションは、まだプロセスを終了していません。ほとんどの場合、プロセスはバックグラウンドで実行されています。しばらく待ってからもう一度お試しください。」というダイアログが出て開けない。ファイルを開かず起動のみ試みても同様。

    今までこういう症状はなかったので、バグとして報告します。

  4. Import Multi Page PDF Font Outlined

    Single page import retain font formatting but automatically outlined when multi page PDF imported. Can this be fix? thanks.

  5. NEGATIVE OFFSET PATH HAS FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON STOPPED WORKING

    I dont have an idea but i have the problem:
    It will work for a shape, such as circle by making a smaller circle, however if i type a word -> type - create outlines -> go to path - offset path and select a negative value it just duplicates the same shape with same thickness and i cannot find a way around it

  6. Opacity Scroll

    I used to be able to hover over the opacity % and just scroll with my mouse to actively change the opacity. Since the latest 2021 update, it will change the values shown in the bar, but will not apply them to the object.

  7. Pathview/Edges Problems

    iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017)
    3,8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
    32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
    Radeon Pro 580 8 GB
    macOS Catalina (10.15.6)
    Adobe Illustrator (25.2)

    Path are not completly visible.
    Edges are not shown as they are.

    Without GPU the Edges and Path look normal. But its to slow to work with.

  8. Drop shadow results are unusual when converted to grayscale

    Version: 23.1 and 24.2.3
    phenomenon:
    1. Create an object
    2. use drop shadow from appearance menu
    3. From the Edit menu, select Edit Color and then Convert to Grayscale.

    After conversion, the drawing of the drop shadow is not normal.
    There will be a problem even if you save it as a PDF.

    Version 22.1 does not have this problem.

  10. Imported colors from Creative Cloud Library appear twice on the swatch panel

    I am running on Windows 10 (intel i7 8565U, 16 GB RAM) and Adobe Illustrator 25.2.

    Whenever I try to import colors from the CC library (select colors, right click, add colors to swatch), the colors then appear twice on the panel (see the attached video). I have tried to reset my illustrator preferences, but still experiencing a similar issue.

    I checked my InDesign and Photoshop by doing similar steps, and they work just fine. Is there anyone experiencing related issue? What did you do to make this work? Thank you.

  11. Pixel Preview distorts text at 100 and 50% in CC 2020 (and 2020 beta)

    When Preferences > Display Print Size at 100% Zoom is checked Pixel Preview gives a distorted (and wrong size) preview.
    This does not happen in CC 2019
    Create some text.
    Zoom to 100%
    Turn on Pixel Preview
    Result > the view percentage changes to 126,87%
    Zooming out to 100% or 50% shows very distorted text.
    This does not happen in CC 2019 (see attached image).

  12. direct selection tool causes broken anchor points to snap to same angle???

    Since 24.3 the direct selection tool causes absolutely unwanted snapping of broken anchor points while moving one of the anchor points. That's absolutely wired and stops any workflow. Please fix this quickly again!

  13. delete anchor point tool selecting bottom object

    When two anchors of different objects are layered on top of one another, the delete anchor point tool will always select the bottom object, whether I have the top object selected or not. The add anchor point tool and direct selection will select the top object, but I want to be able to delete the anchor from the top object without having to go into isolation mode. This wasn't the case in the previous version.

  15. Area Type Text with Vertical Alignment Breaks in CC Libraries

    It seems if I set an Area Type box to Accent and apply Center Vertical Alignment in the Area Type Options that the text will break up (perhaps by kerning pairs?) once reopened.

    The Area Type text is gone and it's broken up point type.

    If I were to use a standard Area Type box (Baseline: Em Box Height; Vertical Alignment: Top), there's no issue, and the text remains editable as Area Type.

  16. Version 24.0.1 becomes unresponsive

    I'm using Illustrator 24.0.1 with Windows 10 Pro

    Since updating Illustrator keeps becoming entirely unresponsive midway through working with no warning and no way to save or quit.

    Sometimes I can move the mouse over menu items, the drop down menu will be completely black and items 'appear' as I hover over them but I cannot click them. Other times I can not even access the menus and it is entirely unresponsive.

    Since updating it has happened daily even when working on relatively simple artworks.

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.1.2 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  17. Key anchor align mode gets activated when not actually needed

    Imagine I have an art I I want to move side points to be on the artboard's edge. There's a background underneath my piece and it's not locked (and I'm not in Outline mode) — so I can't marquee my 2 side points. What I do in this GIF is I click one point and then Shift+click another one. AI switches the mode to 'Key anchor', thinking that... I don't know what it's thinking :) and obviously pressing proper Align button does nothing.

  18. Jittery mouse cursor before changing state / hovering over links when Adobe application is open

    I'm experiencing a jittery/buggy/flickering mouse cursor when my cursor's about to change mode, to type mode or other different pointers.

  20. Illustrator font panels shows wrong data

    When I have a text selected on Illustrator, the fonts panel shows a wrong font, it shows a font what I previously selected for a different text and not the font that the selected text actually is.
    in other words, I cannot see what font is used unless I copy the text, and find the font that looks the same.
