  2. CMYK profile exports as RGB pdf

    saving cmyk document and opens in acrobat as RGB. Checked profile in acrobat says CMYK. used old document pre update, those files work fine

  3. déformation d'ouverture PDF dans illustrator

    PC i7 64
    illustrator 25.0 64bit

    ouverture d'un fichier PDF multipage dans illustrator (avec PDF lié coché)
    une fois qu'on veut incorporer, ça déforme les 100% initiaux car quand il est lié il affiche le format du support et quand il incorpore il importe sur le fond perdu.

  4. Not Loading Other Tabs

    When having multiple tabs open, Illustrator will not show the other art when switching to a different tab. Ex. Document 1 and Document 2 are open and I have been working in Document 1 for a while. When switching to Document 2 tab, the art for Document 1 still shows and does not switch to the other tab. I can pull Document 2 tab off into it's own window and it will show, but once placing it back into the interface, it goes back to only showing Document 1.   6. Save not working

    I am beyond frustrated! fix your freaking save function!!!!!!!!!!

    Working at a professional shop where time is a high priority I don't need to spend 5 minutes making changes only to find out in the RIP that the changes didn't work and I have to go back several times over making the same changes again and again!

  7. Layers and Artboards tool disappears in sidebar when Illustrator is reopened.

    Every time I open Illustrator the Layers and Artboards tools disappear in my side bar. I have to go to the Window Menu and click on Layers to make it reappear.

  8. impossible to add to graphic styles by dragging from the canvas (version 25.0)

    It is impossible to add an appearance of an object to the Graphic Styles Panel just by dragging it into the Panel. The less intuitive ways do work (click the "New Graphic Style" button on the bottom of the Panel or using the fly-out Menu.

  10. Saving Issues on Large Artboards

    I am working in the Illustrator 2020 with Windows 10. The issue I have is that when I initially work on a project with an artboard say 300"x300" it works great and seems to save just fine. However after I close out and go to re-open the saved file it comes in at 10% scale. My new artboard is 30"x30". Am I missing something? I feel like the file should remain how you saved it.

  11. Annoying glitch, that blocks UI items and makes me restart application

    Windows 10
    AI 24.0.1

    While working in AI, I can randomly encounter annoying glitch, which blocks any UI items and makes me restart application. The main thing is that application continues working - you can choose tools with keyboard shortcuts, but UI become buggy and you cannot choose any tool by mouse - nothing happens when you click on elements and you see some black rectangles instead of context menu. This situation happens absolutely randomly. I've attached some videos from mobile phone, there is clearly seen that happening.

  14. When importing PSD files with layers into AI, if you 'outline', masks get deleted and transparency made 100%

    When importing PSD files containing smart objects into AI, the masks get deleted and opacity reverts to 100% when you create outlines (and it is really dangerous cos I only export to AI as a last step before i print, so this can be easy to miss!!!!).

    You can rasterize smart objects before exporting them as a work around, but that's not a great solution really, and means you are best creating a copy of the layer if you don't want to lose fidelity.

  15. Export resolution

    There is an inconsistency between illustrator and the rest of the world (Photoshop / Bridge / Finder) regarding export resolutions.
    When one exports a 100px board on Ai set at 300ppi the file info shows 422 x 422 i.e. 100 * 300 / 72 on Ps an export will show as 100 X 100 which makes sense and that’s how other programs view it.

  16. Alt + Scroll wheel doesn't zoom

    Just updated to 23.05 (64 bit windows 10) and the alt+mouse wheel no longer zooms. It just scrolls left and right same as CTRL+mouse wheel. If I use ALT+Shift+Mouse wheel it does scroll.

    Do you have the test fil you can share with the team?

    Please remove anything sensitive from it and leave only the shape with the gradient. Do not move it into another doc or make sure it uses the same color mode as the original document does.

  19. Suddenly I can't seem to open or create new files in Illustrator.

    when I tried to launch and run my ai files and trying to create new files, the application will just hang and nothing happens. I've uninstalled and re-install but the problem is still the same. It was still working fine 2 days ago. I need a solution fast because I have deadlines to meet!

  20. Where is the Polygon tool in Illustrator V24.3???

    Hi Illustrator Team,

    Where did you guys hide the Polygon toold? It is not in the extensive option under Rectangle tools.

    All I am seeing are:-
