1. Lost Work. Work not in cloud

   I worked on a file for an hour Saturday, 10/24 and it isn’t there today. I’m working in the Beta version of Illustrator for iPad. I’ve never had a document not automatically save to the cloud. I also checked my creative cloud and it wasn’t there either. The beta version of Ai for iPad is not a separate app from the public version. I can only have 1 version on my iPad at a time. I really wish the beta was a separate app so I could have both versions. Now I can’t work in it at all for fear it won’t save.

2. Falsche nummer übername beim Option "Neu färben"

   Wält man mehrere Objekten mit unterschiedlichen Farben im Illustrator und will die ändern mit Option "Neu färben".
   Neu färben > Erweiterte Optionen...
   Danach schalte ich auf "Zuweisen" (rechts von "Bearbeiten"). Damit sehe ich alle benutze Farben als liste. Unten gibst 3 Scrollbalken "H", "S", "B". Zu jede Scrolbalke steht ein Eingabefeld für präzise Zahlen Eingabe.

   Wen man wählt einen von dieser Feld "H", "S", "B".
   Schreibt dort ein neues Zahl
   Danach wechselt Fokus auf ein andere Feld "H", "S", "B". damit Eingabe übernommen wird.
   Jetzt nähme ich ein andere Farbe aus der Liste
   Der Feld wo ich mein Maus Fokus gelassen habe, dort steht der Zahl 100. Aber Scrollbalke weist drauf, das es soll nicht 100 sein.
   Bei übernähmen Zahlangaben im Eingabefelder "H", "S", "B" und wechseln auf andere Farbe aus der Liste, wird beim dem aktivem Feld der zahl auf 100 geändert.

   Wält man mehrere Objekten mit unterschiedlichen Farben im Illustrator und will die ändern mit Option "Neu färben".

3. Properties panel doesn't show on Illustrator v24.0.1 (macOS v10.15.4)

   When you click Window > Properties, nothing happens.

4. illustrator is unable to save this file

   I can't save or copy duplicate a copy of the file. Need to save second time attempt then there's PDF file stated... please help!

5. Save As and Save

   I open an existing file, make edits and either Save As or Save (ctrl+s). A dialog box says the file couldn't be saved because of various possible reasons which none of are true. I immediately try to Save As or Save (ctrl+s) after closing the dialog and the save is successful. This happens 99% of the time since 24.0.1 (possibly sooner).

6. Animated zoom malfunction

   Hi guys,

   I am using a Windows 10 rig, fully patched inkl. all drivers and the latest Adobe product versions. Here's the spec of my rig:

   • Core i7 4700K
   • 32 GB RAM
   • Geforce GTX 770 2 GB GDDR
   • SSD Disk

   My issue is a malfunction of animated zoom. Normally I am using STRG + SPACEBAR and my mouse to zoom in and out. In small Ai projects with a small amount of layers it works fine.

   But, if I illustrate a car, with hundreds of layers at a special moment the animated zoom doesn't work anymore. If I use STRG + SPACEBARE and try to zoom in with my mouse, illustrator draws a slection and zooms in the slected area.

   I added a Video to show you the issue. The issue comes up on the latest version of illustrator and the version before. I crosschecked it already with your phone support.

   So, please be so kind and help me.

   Animated zoom works only in GPU rendering mode and won’t work in specialized modes like Pixel or Overprint Preview — they still rely on CPU calculations.

7. Zoom Tool - Modifier key doesn't work

   v. 25 2020, Mac OS X version.

   Modifier key not working for Zoom tool (magnifying glass). Steps to reproduce:

   1. Select Zoom tool.
   2. Move over dartboard, hold down Option key.
   3. Zoom tool changes to Pan tool.

   Currently, there is no way to zoom out with the Zoom (magnifying glass) tool.

8. Random line weight changing with rectangle shapes

   Since I updated to the latest version of AI (24.3) my operating system will support (Mac Pro [late 2013], Version 10.13.6), I keep running into this issue. After I create a rectangle using the rectangle tool, which I always keep at 1 px weight, sometimes the line weight randomly lowers to a percent like 0.63 px. This has happened when I duplicated the rectangle, or changed it's pixel dimensions in the Transform menu.

9. Can't drag and drop an image from a folder on canvas

   I can not drag photo from my PC folder to Illustrator. Dragging is done only on the folder page. I can not continue dragging on illustrator. Can anybody help me find the way? Thanks.

12. It is no longer possible to speed up vertical scroll holding SHIFT

    Holding SHIFT causes AI to fast scroll horizontally.
    Holding SHIFT + CMD causes AI to fast scroll horizontally.

    IE — no longer possible to fast scroll vertically??

13. Clipping mask from a live text is misaligned / resized / distorted

    When using a solid swatch filled variable font as a clipping mask (Hepta Slab in the attached example) the clipped paths are misaligned with the font (in display and in selection hovering).

14. Save for Web locks and unresponsive

    I've been encountering this issue for a while now.

    Whenever I save for web and need to size up an image or the image is not done loading and I click save but then close the box, everything freezes and there's nothing to do, but to force quit.

15. CRASH AND NO RECOVERY

    ever since the most recent updates, my illustrator has been crashing regularly. And worse file recovery has not recovered a single file. this is very wack. I have lost money re-doing things I already made and lost because of random crashes. Very Very disappointing and not encouraging me to continue using illustrator.

18. Window, Control has disappeared

    Under 'Window', under 'Control', the Control bar does not appear at the top of my workspace, as it did in all prior versions of Illustrator.
    Did it accidentally get deleted? Can this be fixed? Please help! thank you!

19. Panel "propiedades" en ingles

    Hey, formatee mi pc, volví a instalar todo mi pack adobe. Antes tenia el Illustrator 2020, y ahora tengo el 2021. Lo que sucede es que el panel "propiedades" aparece todo en ingles. Con la versión anterior esto no sucedia.
    Todo lo demas esta en español, la verdad es bastante molesto, ya que si bien tengo manejo básico de ingles, hay palabras como estas que no las entiendo y dependo de estar usando traductor a cada momento.

20. Why won't the attached svg open?

    All the icon svg paths in the polaris icon system won't open in illustrator. It seems to be valid svg and renders in the browser just fine. It also won't open in XD.
