Smart Guides buggy at artboard corners
When resizing snapping shapes or objects, Illustrator smart guides alert user that object is being snapped to corner or intersect, however it isn't actually, and it's not until you zoom right in that you realise it hasn't.
Snap to Pixel is turned off. Smart Guides are turned on.
There is no 'anchor' at that location other than the Artboard Edge.1 vote -
A blank white popup window opens over a file when opening.
Closing the window gets it out of the way & I can continue. It only happens the first time I launch AI and then open a file.
I'm on a 2016 MacBook Pro running Catalina & Illustrator 24.0.

Version 24.2.1 Crashes at Launch
I am working on a MacBook and updated to version 24.2.1. It functioned for several days and now crashes at launch. I uninstalled the application and re-installed it, but get the same result. I keep version 23.1.1 on my computer, and it works, but of course I can not open any version 24.2.1 files.

Can't move text along path - vertical line handles missing
The vertical lines that usually show up when pushing text along the path is missing. Even when using Direct Selection Tool, there are no handles to control the direction and placement of text along a path which is very frustrating.
Operating System:
Macbook Pro (retina, mid 2015)

The new document preset for print defaults to iPhone mockups. Letter and legal and tabloid might be better choices
Use Letter and legal and tabloid for new document presets instead of a bunch of Iphone mockups

PDF書き出しをすると時々、反映されないオブジェクトがある

can't open new file or work on the app at all.
I just downloaded Illustrator 2020 on my PC. The PC is a little old but has all the required specs to run the program. However whenever I open Illustrator and try to open a new file (after selecting my preferences page size etc) nothing pops up I still see the "welcome to Illustrator" home page but can still select the tools and see the blank artboards I just created however nothing gets applied to them visually but if I throw in a big black triangle I see it only on the thumbnail from the Layers panel which is obviously too…

Enter Key Exports First Artboard By Default
After selecting an artboard range to export, hitting the enter key as a method to export the artboard range results in the first artboard being exported, not the range selected.

BUG - perspective grid - ground plane widgets disappear
The Left and Right ground level widgets DISAPPEAR when the vanishing points are adjusted moderately far apart. There seems to be no way to make them visible again, which makes it hard to move the entire perspective grid to another location.

BUG - perspective grid planes disappear permanently
If the grid cell size is adjusted -- while some planes are turned off (with temporary SHIFT-hide function) -- the hidden planes cannot be made to reappear.
Select Left plane. Hover grid tool over an intersection in Left plane.
Press SHIFT. The right and ground planes disappear.
Adjust cell size with diamond widget.
Now try to make right plane or ground plane visible again -- gone forever.
This bug seriously interferes with using the Perspective Grid tools.

Crash on open/new documenti after window 10 update 4560960
After 4560960 update, illustrator crashes on open or new document.
Uninstalling update does fix it.Windows 10 home, all latest updates applied, happens on 10 machines, all different hardware.
Not sure if illustrator or windows bug. For now delayed updates for a week, hoping in a fix soon.

(macOS) File Format menu in save dialog becomes unresponsive after making a new folder
Steps to reproduce:
1. Perform a Save As... command
2. Navigate to somewhere in the file system using the save dialog
3. Make a new folder in the destination

I used to be able to print from Illustrator using my Epson L3150 printer.
It no longer prints. I used Default printing preset of Illustrator, then used default copy, then used custom. I checked and unchecked settings in advanced. All with the same result.
I tested this even on old files which I was able to print last Aug 2020. Can't print.
I opened the illustrator file in PDF and it was able to print.I would appreciate it if you can help solve this bug in Illustrator.

Edit just the path when text is on path
Editing the path, independently of the the text on the path is no longer possible. For the last couple decades, I could place text on a path, then I would select the direct select tool (group select via key modifier) and click just on the path to select just the path. Then, I would switch to the regular selection tool. At this point the handles for scaling an object would become visible. Then I could scale or distort the path, independently of the text. Illustrator ignores variable font kerning
As described. Illustrator is not interpolating kerning data. Using a font that works well on everything but Illustrator. Left is view in Chrome, right in Illustrator.

illustrator very slow to export to PDF (all versions including latest)
I recently built a new computer as my laptop was taking too long to make PDFs, the new computer should be 2-4 times quicker but actually takes longer to make the PDF from exactly the same file.
The old computer is a 2017 MacBook Pro:

Close button has gap
[windows 10] The close button on Illustrator has gap in the corner - and when your mouse goes to the corner (which it usually does when you want to close a window) - you are clicking on thee X button of the program beneath it. ...This is very furstrating and i just closed other software where i lost an hour of work. Adobe this is sloppy - Photoshop has simillar button, but the gap is closed, while for example - After effects uses the normal windows 10 border ....make this stuff the same! Rotating with selection tool buggy
When attempting to rotate a shape using the bounding box and the selection tool, in every version previous to 24.0 I just moved the cursor outside the bounding box a certain distance and the cursor would change to a bent arrow, allowing me to click and rotate. Ever since then, I've still been able to rotate the shape this way, but the cursor arrow doesn't change to the bent arrow icon until after I click, meaning I am unsure whether or not I am about to resize or rotate the shape.
