  1. SVG import: font-weight and font-style not always applied to tspan elements

    font-weight and font-style not always applied to tspan elements

    Use the following steps to reproduce the issue:
    1. download attached AIbugreport.txt file
    2. replace .txt with.svg (unable to load an SVG file)
    3. import the file to Adobe Illustrator
    4. open this file in Google Chrome (or any other browser) to visually see the difference

    Actuall result: Google Chrome: "quick" is bold; "over" is italic. Adobe Illustrator: Styles are not applied to these words.

  2. Problem with Type on a Path after ver. 26.1 update

    Prior to updating Adobe Illustrator to ver. 26.1, a drawing with Type on a Path appears as it should. After the update, the text is positioned in a different place along the path. This is confirmed on a second computer. The same file opened on the second computer prior to the update appears normal, and after the update, the text is shifted.

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.2.1 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  3. Shape expanded automatically bug

    This is a bug I am experiencing. As soon as make a change on a shape it gets expanded automatically and this is not reversible if a pathfinder mode has been used (minus front for example). I am getting a small grey notification saying "shape expanded". I have not found a way to turn this off but it makes Illustrator un-usable for my purposes. I am attaching a screenshot of the notification that appeared as soon as moved one of the rectangle anchor points. Please help me as this is a business show-stopper for me. :(

  4. Eylemlerde Toplu İş de Veri Kümesi Adıyla kayıt yapmıyor

    Merhabalar,
    Değişkenler panelinden veri kümesi bağlıyorum. Sorunsuz çalışıyor. Eylemler panelinden yeni eylem oluşturup pdf olarak kayıt yapıyorum. Toplu iş ekranından az önce oluşturduğum eylemi seçiyorum, kaynak olarak veri kümesini seçiyorum, dosya adı bölümünde Veri Kümesi Adını seçiyorum ancak çalışmıyor, veri kümesi adıyla kayıt yapmıyor. Hatta ordaki 3 seçeneğin 3 üde çalışmıyor.

  6. Color slider

    Mac. OS 12.6. Illustrator 27.0. MacBook Pro 13 inch, M1 chip + external monitor.
    Tried changing color with slider, but the slider hides, doesn't display numbers.

  7. Bug. Opening a file only opens the file window. Workspace missing (all other info windows)

    Double clicking on my file (when illustrator isn't loaded) opens just the file window. All tools and other windows don't open. I have to manually open a workspace or the individual windows I need. Does anyone else get this?

  8. Zooming on macOS 13.2.1 (22D68) and Illustrator 27.3.1 (and previous version) is h-e-l-l

    When zooming in with my Apple Trackpad (external but also with the build in one) zoom is not smooth and lags. MacBook Pro M1 Max. My colleague didn't experience this while being on the latest Illustrator version, until they updated to the latest macOS version (from 12 to 13, Intel MacBook Pro). So my assumption there is a compatibility issue over there with macOS. The experience while zooming with GPU is normally smooth, but now it is worse then zooming in CPU mode. Changing, rebooting and reinstalling didn't work.

  9. Selecting multiple links with cmd+click in Illustrator with Wacom Pen is broken.

    I'm using a iMac Retina 5k 2020 with a Wacom Intuos Pro.

    I've noticed that after one of Illustrator's Update, I was not able to select multiple links (cmd+click each link) in the Link Tab with my pen, but when I was using a mouse, there wasn't any problem.

    I was going to blame Wacom, I've had issues with their updates before, but I've reverted to Illustrator 26.0 and it was working perfectly fine. I've updated older versions 1 by 1 to see when it started bugging and it looks like version 26.4 is the culprit and it kept on…

  11. Translation error (German) 2

    There is a translation error in the German version of Illustrator 27.1.1 on Mac OS 10.15.7. The English word "Level" was translated to "Tonwertkorrektur" instead of "Textebenen" in the dialogue for bullet points.

  12. Illustrator after 5 mins starts loading continuously

    Once opening my cloud file after 5 mins the cursor starts loading & doesn't stop. Making it impossible to save. The only way to stop the issue is to force quit on Mac & reopen, then it'll repeat after 5 mins again

  14. Image Trace make the app freezing (Version: 27.3.1.629)

    When you click on image trace, the tracing list option not appear, and also make the software freeze.
    This bug appear since I upgrade to the current latest version which is 27.3.1.629
    Windows 11.

  15. 合成フォント使用時、パス上文字アウトライン後の文字の回転・変形

    ver 26.2.1
    パス上文字ツールで作成した円弧上の文字をアウトラインかけると勝手に回転、変形がかかります。
    以前のバージョンでは問題なかったので大問題です。早急に対応願います。

    ご報告いただいた「合成フォントが使用されているパス上文字をアウトライン化した際に、一部の文字が正しくアウトライン化されない現象」の再現を確認いたしました。

    こちらの問題は曲線パス上の文字の角度によって、再現の有無があるようです。

    また、ノーマルフォントの場合は再現しませんが、単一フォントのみで作成された合成フォントでは再現することが確認できました。

    今後ともよろしくお願いいたします。

  16. 線幅プロファイルが付加されたパスに対するブレンドを指定すると表示に時間がかかる。

    Illustrator 26.3.1
    OS macOS10.15.7(Intel)/Windows10

    問題の説明:
    線幅プロファイルが指定されたパス同士をブレンドした場合、再描画に相当な負荷がかかります。アクティビティモニターで確認するとCPU負荷が90％を超え、その状態が数秒続きます。その間Illustrator上ではレインボーカーソルが回り続けます。
    なお、ver.25.4.1ではこの様な表示パフォーマンスの問題はありませんでした。

    再現手順:
    1.直線をペンツールで２つ作成し、それぞれに線幅プロファイルを指定する。
    2.そのパスに対してブレンドを指定しステップ数255とする。
    3.意図通りの表示となるが、描画完了までに数秒かかりレインボーカーソルで待たされる。

    実際の結果:
    微調整の為にアンカーポイントを移動したり線の設定などを変更するたびに数秒待たされる。

    期待された結果:
    プロファイルを付加したパス同士のブレンドに対するパスポイントの調整でも以前のバージョンのようにスムーズに編集できる。

    回避方法:
    パフォーマンスの問題のようですから、再描画が完了するまで待つか以前のバージョン（2021）を利用するしか無いようです。

    ※添付のベンチマーク用データではシンボルの編集終了から通常の編集画面に戻るまでに１分近くを要します。

  18. Illustrator 27.3.1 Freaking Lagging on Apple silicon (M1 Max)

    Hi, I updated AI to 27.3.1 today

    But it made a serious Issue
    Especially when I edit an object inside group objects

    Attached Video:

    1. You can see I "double click" my group object (a hand) at 00:00:01
      But it opened this group after 5 second (OMG)

    2. Same as the other actions, each time you see my mouse kept moved around because Illustrator LAGGING around 3-5 sec

    It is super annoying because I can't work!

    1. After that, I re-install old version which under 27.3.1, same Issue with it (before I updated 27.3.1 , worked fine!)

    Laptop: MacOS 13.2.1（for now）

  19. Missing Files Dialogue keeps re-appearing

    The missing files dialogue keeps re-appearing after exactly 10 seconds, despite me selecting "No" for the following message;

    "Some files are missing or modified in the Links panel. Would you like to update them now?"

    Using Illustrator 26.0 64-bit on Windows 10.

  20. auto scrolling artboard

    2019 IMac 27
    3 ghz 6-core i5
    radeon pro 570x 4 gb graphics
    40 gb 2667 mhz ddr4 ram
    Out of nowhere my artboard began scrolling to the right by itself. When the mouse is off the artboard, it stops. I've tried restarting, saving to a new location, restoring to default, and removing and reinstalling the app. All to no avail.
