2. Multiple Artboards X and Y axis not resetting

   This is a new issue: normally the X and Y axis reset when you click on an alternate artboard but recently, it's maintain the X and Y of the first artboard. My sample is a 4"x4", 4-artboard layout, and the shape is on artboard 2, horizontal to artboard 1.

   The problem got solved by enabling artboard rulers instead of global ones via View > Rulers menu.

3. The Properties panel is slow to respond

   If nothing is selected and artboard info is showing, when I make a selection it takes forever for it to change from the artboard info to showing the selection info/options for transform, appearance, align, etc.
   Sometimes I have to click on a different panel tab (to make the property panel go behind) and click back on properties for all of that to appear again.
   It's such a waste of time doing all the extra clicking or waiting ... or both.

   Also, when I have an object or group sitting ON the artboard (the only artboard in the document), why does my "Y" measurement show a negative number?
   Shouldn't the coordinates only be negative when it is off the artboard?
   And no, I have not moved my rulers.

   Version 21H2

4. Illustrator Nonstop crashing

   Illustrator crashes often throughout the day. Mac Studio M1 Ventura 13.2 128 GB Ram 4TB HD, Illustrator 27.X.

   Happens often after pasting artwork from other files and then moving the pasted artwork.

   This is happening on multiple Mac Studio's with designers working on different files.

   Files are local on their desktops.

   We reset preferences files, cache etc.

   This is a really critical issue.

5. Illustrator auto-close when opening an .ai file

   It closes automatically when I open an .AI file, whether I double-click the file or open it from the illustrator menu.

   I already reinstalled illustrator and the problem continues.

7. Illustrator is freezing

   It's been 2 weeks that illustrator keeps freezing. I have updated, uninstalled/reinstalled the app, and still does the same thing. I'm working on a file and once I want to save, the app freezes and I can't do anything about it, no button works or anything and I'm unable to save as every time I save that's when it happens.
   I see my page/work but can't touch anything, the only way to get out is to Force quit from the task manager.
   Really need this to be resolved as I use illustrator everyday for work and can't save any of my work.

8. Zooming manually (on trackpad) works on and off

   When I try to zoom in or out, it doesn't always work. I'm having this issue on Adobe XD in addition to Illustrator. I use my trackpad to zoom (scroll/pinch to zoom) and it works fine in all other software so I know it's not my computer.

   It started within the past year and has gotten worse. I'm not sure what causes the issue, sometimes it's like that when I open the app, or sometimes it just does it mid-work session. I was using Adobe XD yesterday and noticed that dragging in an image to the artboard made zooming possible again, but it doesn't fix it everytime. So far the only fix I've found is to quit the app and open it again, but on occasion I'll have to do it a few times for it work.

   Anyone else having this issue?

9. PROBLEM Mixing and changing swatches colours in the file...

   We are currently designing on about 250 designs witch we have in the same file as different art boards. In the swatches panel we have created two different groups of colours (each group has 8 swatches). We design in each art board (for example Art 1) with one of the group colours (lets name it A). When we finish colouring Art1 we copy the design in the next art board Art2 and now we colour it using the other group (lets name it B). We save the file and the next day when we open it we find that the design in Art 1 and Art2 have the colours mixed!!! We find that some colours of the group A used in Art 1 have been interchanged with colours from the group B and vice versa...!!!
   The colours do not interchange in the colour groups between the swatches panel but in the objects of the designs in the art boards... PLEASE help and fix...

10. Edges of a fill are rendered rough and innacurate

    Smaller circle is roughen, not smooth. This is really annoying since I'm working on a logo for a client and it has to be precise.
    This is really annoying. that wasn't the case last week... I updated to the latest version today.

12. Illustrator freezes at the moment of saving a file with "Save as"

    At the moment of saving the file with "Save us" the pup up window freeze and the whole Adobe Illustrator also stops working. To be able to do something I need to "Force quit". But the action of "Save as" will not work, therefore I can not save my documents.

    I have reset preferences, restarted Illustrator, restarted the machine altogether, switched wifi networks, the whole shooting match. I use Illustrator for all my work and this has brought my life to a crashing halt.

15. Slopes of anchor points corrupted after opening PDF file

    When I open a PDF in Adobe Illustrator that was created in Adobe Photoshop, the slopes of the anchor points of a shape are corrupted. The interpolation between the anchor points doesn't seem to work properly at some point, see screenshot "Illustrator-Photoshop-Comparison.jpg". As a result, the shape looks deformed and egded, as if drawn with a shaky hand.

    I don't know if it's due to the export from Photoshop or the import in Illustrator. The PDF is displayed correctly in Adobe Acrobat Pro. When I open the Photoshop PSD file in Illustrator, the paths are correct.

    Does anyone know this problem? It seems to me like a bug - or maybe it's something in my settings? I've tried a lot to fix it, for example looking for settings for the interpolation method or path smoothing, but haven't found a solution.

    Edit: Attached is a simple test file and screenshots of the settings I used for the PDF export in Photoshop ("High Quality Print" template). The slopes look a bit different here than in my first screenshot, but are also corrupted, see "CLOSEUP" screenshots.

16. preview for tif images does not change after embedding

    I use Illustrator 2023 27.0 on Mac book pro with macOS Monterey Version 12.5. When placing tif images the preview shows a low resolution image (individual pixels are blurry). This should normally be corrected once the image is embedded. But in the case of tif images this does not work it stays in the preview stage even after embedding. However, when printed it shows the correct image. Therefore there seems to be a bug which does not show the correct state of tif images after embedding. This bug is specific for tif images since it does not show the same for png.

19. Regression in version 27.0 - SVG tspan not handled correctly

    Hello

    When I place the following SVG

    <svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" viewBox="0 0 500 500" width="500" height="500"><text><tspan>60</tspan></text></svg>

    And then try to export the object back to SVG, I get

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" width="36.86" height="39.2" viewBox="0 0 36.86 39.2"/>

    The tspan content is gone.

    Without the tspan it works ok. It also works fine in AI 26.5

    The example is an extract from a larger SVG object created through the Datylon plugin

    Seems like an AI regression bug. Any chance it will be fixed in later versions?

20. Point type alignment trouble

    I have an issue with Adobe illustrator, and the online help service didn’t help me at all

    Here’s the deal:

    When I type in English left to right, I can align the text to the horizontal center of the artboard.

    BUT when I write in Hebrew (or Arabic), right to left, using a point type, the text will not align.

    If I convert to area type, or if I change orientation of the txt to left to right, the text will align fine.

    So the issue happens only when writing in Hebrew or Arabic, In right to left orientation, and in point type mode.

    Yes, I tried different fonts, didn’t change anything.
