1. Activating fonts in Illustrator takes too long

2. 3D extrude and bevel effect breaks on large paths

   Windows 10 64 Bit, AI 23.1 .I've observed this bug all previous versions, and on multiple computers.

   Add a 3D effect (eg. Extrude and Bevel) to a path and increase the scale... it always breaks past a certain size. The theshold increases with the extrude depth, so deep objects can be larger while flat objects (ie. no extrude depth) break at a relatively small size. Check out the attached image.

   It's an extremely useful effect... clearly it would be a whole lot better if it could still be used at larger scales!

3. Headline gone on export to PNG.

   When I export to PNG the file loses my headline. Whether the font is set to color or not. I distills a PDF properly.

4. I'm being auto signed out every night

   I'm being auto signed out every night. In the morning it shows a message to save open files but it only gives me the option to save, not save as so I have to overwrite important files or lose all the work I did the night before.

7. Character panel reads all fonts instead of just synced fonts

   Windows 10, Illustrator 24.0.1

   Change font weight from font weight drop down

   See only filtered (synced) fonts from Adobe fonts

   See all fonts installed on system and synced

8. Stroke width profile selection malfunction after last update.

   Stroke width profile selection not giving the proper "style" from pull-down menu. I select "uniform" but Ai creates "width profile 1"

9. Applescript "open without dialogs" no longer works

   I have an Applescript that has the statement

   open (thePDFName as alias) without dialogs

   In Adobe Illustrator 2019, it works. In Adobe Illustrator 2020, it gives me an "unable to open file" error. When I comment out "without dialogs", it opens the file, but then naturally pops open a dialog (not helpful when you are opening dozens of files!)

   MacOS 10.13.6, not sure what other information would be needed.

   This issue is reproducible with HFS paths.

   Workaround: Use the POSIX path for opening files

   Example:
   set myFilePath to POSIX path of theAIFile
   open file myFilePath without dialogs

10. Missing font doesn't show up

    Hi

    When I open a document with missing fonts, the texts which without fonts will disappear and they aren't being white! I cannot even see them. It is really causing my problem....

    Is it a bug or I can adjust the setting to fix it?

    it is CC2020.

11. Rendered objects not matching the outline

    I have found multiple rendering issues with Illustrator 2020 on Mojave 10.14.6
    There are three types:

    1.) When cutting an object with the path finder, it might occasionally produce straight lines instead of curves, although I can't replicate this and it happens rarely.

    2.) The displayed object doesn't follow the outline accurately in general. This is blatantly obvious when zooming in to the max and drawing a small object.

    3.) Lines aren't smooth, they have extremely tiny irregularities. These disappear when zooming (even when already at max) but only for the current screen. Moving the camera reveals new ones and point 2. stays always.

    From what I tested, saving to .ai or .svg carries over point 1. and recalculates 2. and 3. Apparently that's just an issue Illustrator has in general?
    Saving to .pdf or .png seems to fix everything, making these bugs only annoying when an Illustrator file is required.

13. Can't find the basic pantone colors

    I can't find certain Pantone colors in the swatch library anymore. For example Pantone 871 C (standard gold color) i can find in the 2019 by just typing it in the search bar, but in the 2020 version it doesn't recognise it... even if i import another swatch library it doesn't show it at all, but i'm certain it's in there.

15. Paste remembers layers bug with isolation mode

    If you choose the option Paste Remembers Layers and copy elements when in Isolation Mode and paste these after exiting Isolation Mode, they appear on a new layer named "Isolation Mode". They should appear on their parent layer instead.

16. Crashed while working flat design - PC

    I working with lastest application but crash. Windows 10 Home / Ryzen 5 2600 series / 32GB Ram / GPU Radeon RX 580 Series 4GB + 2GB (2 GPU)

    Unable to do things and no recovery! Triple times for April 2020. Please fix.

17. Adjusting gradient on ONE selection adjusts ALL other objects with the same gradient

    When I select ONE object with an existing gradient and then try to adjust it, it will change ALL objects that have that same gradient. Extremely frustrating.

18. Fills rendered not accurate compared to edges when using GPU mode

    I noticed a small rendering issue with strokes in GPU mode. The boundaries seem to be somewhat inaccurate, to the point that in certain situations (regardless of whether or not they're joined and by any method), suck as a tee shape, a small bulge of one stroke can appear beyond the edge of another, even though they shouldn't.

    See attached pictures, the problem area is circled. It is subtle, but visible. There is a slight bulge extending outwards towards the right, presumably from the horizontal path at that junction. This is incorrect, the paths are joined and have identical stroke settings.

    In CPU rendering, it renders correctly, and no bulge is visible. It seems to happen somewhat inconsistently, it doesn't always effect path junctions like that, only sometimes.

    Also, the stroke width visibly changes slightly when switching between CPU and GPU mode. In my case, GPU mode seems to draw them slightly wider (higher stroke pt value) than it should be.

    I wonder if this might be due to error introduced by using single precision floats on the GPU (which I assume is the case, considering how much lower double precision float performance is on most GPUs)? Who knows.

    Regardless, the obvious workaround is to simply use CPU rendering, and it is relatively minor. But it is important to have an accurate representation of what you're doing.

    OS: macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 Build 17G5019
    2 x Xeon E5-2690 v4 CPUs (don't ask ;) )
    64 GB RAM
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8191 MB
    GPU Driver Version: 387.10.10.10.40.122
    CUDA Driver Version: 418.105

    If you have documents that have this behavior, please share the them so that the team can review the bug and make it fixed. Screenshots help, but this can’t be reproduced without the test files. Thank you!

19. Shift hold (Constrain angle) within gradient use not working

    When I shift hold a gradient now it doesn't snap (constrain angle) in Illustrator. I've checked my general settings and constrain angle is set to 0°... have I missed something? Version 23.0

20. Escape Key and Arrows Not Working With Illustrator 2019

    Several keys are not working as intended. The arrow keys do not work at all. The escape key also does not work in certain situations. When creating text, the escape key no longer works to exit out of editing the text.
