1. Complicated Swatches not adding to palette

   Working in Mojave 10.14.6 on a iMac 2017, 3.5Hz

   I needed to alter a swatch I had made using vector artwork I have drawn, the swatch was created in Illustrator 2017, and though complex, had no issues being added to the swatch palette, or used. I had edited it a few times to get the elements into the right place and adding it back to the Swatch palette.
   I tried editing in Illustrator 2020, which we have been running across our Macs fo the last few days, and it will not add back in. I can drag it out, but even though it looks to be adding back in when I drag it back, it doesn't appear. I tried a simple swatch, no issue. I restarted and it still won't add in. I had to go back to Illustrator 2017 to make the change and add the swatch back in.

   'vector-effect' has 3 values : non-scaling-stroke | none | inherit

3. export resolution png incorrect

   In Adobe Illustrator version 2020 the export png is broken. When selecting export in 300 PPI the result is a 1250 PPI image.

4. Gradient expand in to separate colors when i'm trying to export files in EPS 10 in illustrator 23.1.1 version

   when i'm trying to export files in EPS 10 in illustrator 23.1.1 version all the objects filled with gradients are automatically expand in to separate colours and just because this EPS file size are increases.

5. home screen keeps loading

   When starting Illustrator after the splash screen the Home screen keeps loading. It never loads, even after hours. Your man from the support center couldnt fix it either. You may disable the home screen in the prefs but thats a workaround I dont prefer. I found deleting your temp in users/username/appdata/local/temp works but thats plain ******** if you ask me. Solution? Please?

7. Unable to set maximum number of files to be opened

   Upon opening program, error displays "Unable to set maximum number of files to be opened." I did research suggesting to open terminal and typing "$ ulimit" but I get "unlimited" as the output. The forum then suggested to report this bug here.

   System: Mac Pro Late 2013
   OS: Mac OS Mojave (10.14.4)
   Product: Adobe Illustrator CS6, part of the Design Web Premium Suite

   I believe this is not an issue for the latest versions of Illustrator CC.

8. Blends with 3D objects do not retain rotation values when expanded

   When creating blends with 3D objects, Illustrator does a decent job of calculating the rotation within 3D space. However, when the blend is expanded, rotation values are not retained. Trying to edit the effect resets the values to that of the base objects used to create the blend.

9. I have to keep re-activating fonts

   For no seemingly obvious reason, and quite randomly, my fonts wont activate when I open Illustrator. I have to turn off "Enable Adobe Fonts" in CC and then turn it back on. This is getting very frustrating -

11. Inconsistency between GPU and CPU modes for composite fonts

    mac OS 10.15.1 (19B88)

    iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015)
    4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
    AMD Radeon R9 M395 2 GB

    I have an issue regarding inconsistent appearance between GPU and CPU modes when using composite fonts. Attached are the screen shot images of the identical material when captured in (1) GPU-mode, (2) CPU-mode, and (3) GPU-mode after outlined.

    As the files show, the last 2 characters show up at different position. The outlined characters show up in the position identical with (2). So I guess (1) has some issue (not displaying the pre-outlined characters at the correct position).

    It is very stressful and affecting my professional work, so I would like to get the issue fixed ASAP.

    The composite font I used in this example are with 2 Japanese fonts. The "Kana" letters are little bit scaled at center.

12. Big problem with 'Horizontal Align Center' bug fix

    Windows 7 64bit professional service pack 1,
    Illustrator CC 23.0.6.

    The recent fix for "The 'Horizontal Align Center' option does not align text with the center of object if text has tracking applied on it" in version 23.1 is causing all of our files, tens of thousands of documents, to display incorrectly when you open them, shifting text automatically. We need to be able to turn off this "fix" in settings or something please. We produce scale rules and navigational equipment etc. and almost every one of our files is incorrect if we upgrade to 23.1! We are stuck on version 23.0.6 until we can find a way around this. Please help.

13. inutilisable

    Plante en permanence à l'ouverture.

    Préférences supprimées, ça recommence de la même manière :
    à l'ouverture de l'appli puis à l'ouverture/création d'un nouveau document, la roue puis tous les menus deviennent grisés. On peut changer d'outil mais pas les utiliser.
    Les panneaux de fonction sont actifs mais rien n'est possible.
    L'appli n'est pas signalée bloquée par le système.

    Je n'ai pas accès aux bibliothèques, je pense qu'elles sont en cause.

    Ce soft est de pire en pire.

14. There is not enough memory available to process the appearance of an object

    Illustrator 23.0.4

    I'm getting an error message (There is not enough memory available to process the appearance of an object) when I open a file or create a new file in Illustrator. After I close the document, everything in illustrator gets greyed out and I have to force quit to close illustrator. I have to repeat this open and force quitting several times before I could get a document to work as normal. Could you please advise if there's a fix for this? Thank you.

15. Illustrator crashes whenever export file to .png

    My adobe illustrator is crashing whenever I try to save my file in .png form. I'm using illustrator inside a server and Adobe representatives can't help me troubleshoot. This problem only started a month ago and before I could save files in png. Any suggestion for fix will be appreciated. Thank you!

16. Japanese fonts not syncing.

    Japanese fonts don't sync to Illustrator. But they do work fine in other applications like Photoshop.

17. SVGs not aligning properly unless empty objects in Layers are deleted

    When I import an image in SVG format the alignment tools do not work properly to align the image with other elements on the artboard. I've found a work around for this, deleting the "title" layer of the SVG in the layers panel seems to allow it to work properly. There is no graphic information in the title layer as far as I'm aware so why does it affect how the alignment tools work? Also with the title layer still present clicking align moves it every time it's clicked rather than just once, how it usually behaves. I've attached a screen capture in GIF of what I've experienced.

18. General Bugs in Graph Tool

    Computer: Dell, Intel i7, 32 GB RAM, Windows 10 Pro
    Illustrator Version: CC 2019, german

    The Graph tool needs many bugfixes.
    1. when trying to enlarge the data window or some of the columns in it, sometimes the cursor switches so that you see you can now pull the line between two colums and enlargen the column. Sometimes it doesn't (see jpg).
    2. When trying to insert a line break in one of the text lines in a chart (by inserting the vertical line glyph by copy&paste), german Umlauts are changed into strange glyps (see jpg)
    3. When changing some data (numbers, words etc.) in an existing graph that uses grafic styles (for lines, bars etc.), some items lose the grafic style and turn back to black or to invisible (see jpg). Some of the items or values (like 0-10-20-30% for example) change position and "jump" to other lower or higher positions, some keep their position. (see jpg)
    4. when changing the size of a chart with formatted text, the text has to be re-formatted after resizing the chart which is logical, but nonetheless uncomfortable to work with.
    5. Last but not least (well, not really a bug, but..) why is there no possibility to integrate the data-values into the charts? (Without working with graph designs - which is far too complicated and uncomfortable, I think) . For example, you have two columns, one with 25% , one with 50%. Why can't you just integrate the written value "25%" in the graph? (jpg)

19. Free Form gradient Line points gets deleted on changing opacity to 0 via Point Mode

    Making a freeform gradient point to 0% opacity works until the object is moved. The point will be removed on moving the object. This does not affect opacity greated than 0%.

20. Anchor Point Guides are invisible in Illustrator 2019 unless selected?

    I installed the newest AI update (v23) and started testing some of the new features when I noticed that the anchor points that I rely on for my work have vanished. I've attached screen snips to show the difference between AI 2018 and 2019.

    That little magenta X shows up in earlier versions but now it's invisible. It's still present and can be selected if I know where it is but that defeats the purpose, in my opinion. There must be some way to turn these back on, right?

    I've tried toggling many settings in the menu and the closest thing I can find is Hide / Show Edges, which only affects my ability to select the anchors. Switching between CPU and GPU rendering doesn't affect it, and playing with the options in the "Selection & Anchor Display" menu in the preferences doesn't help. (screenshot attached)

    My first installation was an upgrade that kept the previous version's settings. No anchors. I uninstalled that and had it remove the preferences and do a fresh install. No anchors. Uninstalled and removed preferences, reinstalled AI-2018 and it shows anchors just like it always did. Installed 2019 fresh (again no anchors) and tried importing my 2018 settings manually but that doesn't work between versions.

    Is this affecting anyone else? A solution would be greatly appreciated!

    Some installation details:

    Illustrator 2019
    Windows 10 Enterprise, build 17134
    Dell Precision workstation, Xeon E5-1620 v3, w/ 16GB RAM
    AMD FirePro W5100 4GB with the latest pro drivers, 18.Q3.1. (updated from v17-something while troubleshooting this issue)

    It seems like several problems got mixed in the comments.

    1. Guides made of single anchors (displayed as <Guide> in Layers) are displayed correctly in the latest versions of Ai when View > Guides > Show Guides is enabled (although they are rather small).

    2. Illustrator does not draw centerpoints for ellipses while moving then in GPU mode — a know problem, reported separately here: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/39740689

    Please upvote it if you want to see edges while moving.

    3. Show Edges option gets occasionally disabled — gets fixed with Cmd/Ctrl + H. Edges still won’t be drawn when GPU Performance and Real-Time Drawing and Editing options are enabled in Preferences > Performance, only when you switch to CPU mode.
