Illustrator 25.3.1 Increase Text with Shift Option Broken
When I hold down shift and option key to expand text it won't enlarge the text.
Not sure what I am doing wrong or if this is a bug. Would be super helpful if your team were to fix this issue if it were a bug.Thank you for all that you do.

3d-Kreisel Darstellung und Renderfehler | 3d rotate render error
3d renderings are perse buggy (see PDF) create invisible geometries (although switched off), render errors on the assembly line.
The preview is miserable. I can't explain this to any customer, nor can I expect them to! In part, AI files were invited to be transparent in places where they shouldn't be.
I have been using Illustator since 1990 and there is no other program that is as buggy and impractical as Illustrator. Fast is different.

Bounding Box is invisible on Apple display, but not on MacBook
I use a MacBook Pro with a Thunderbolt Display attached. With recent upgrade, the bounding box becomes invisible when viewed on the display, but is visible when viewed on the MacBook. Artboards are also very pale grey, very hard to see, (when adding new ones)

Artwork disappears when zoomed in
Whenever I am zooming in (2400% +), my artwork disappears and the who canvas turns gray. If I mouse over my artwork, i'll see a very pixelated outline of my artwork. I've attached a screenshot of my issue. I've tried restarting my MBP, uninstalling and reinstalling AI. I've tried closing out AI and reopening– but nothing I am doing is fixing this issue. Please help, I need to continue working on client projects.

Copy/paste SVG missing closing > bracket
Illustrator 25.3.1 64 bit Windows 10 v21H1
Copy/Paste in this version is now missing ending ">" closing bracket noticeably when pasting as svg directly into text based editor such as vscode or notepad.
Example:
<svg id="Layer_1" data-name="Layer 1" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" viewBox="0 0 432 432"><rect width="432" height="432"/></svg*note the missing greater than closing bracket. This has to be added manually on every copy/paste to editor.

illustrator crashes 25.3.1 when saving files
Illustrator crashes when saving to server or trying to open files from server. Iv had more success dragging files directly into illustrator from finder as opposed to using file>open. Also, having issues with illustrator saying that some files are locked when i try to open. using new iMac (24-inch, M1, 2021) version 11.4

Group of strokes disappeared after change stroke thickness!
We are having an issue with illustrator last version in MOJAVE OS.
When we change the stroke thickness in a group of objects with different color strokes the same group disappeared. HELP!!!!

Zoom not working!!!
Neither pinch nor scroll are working correctly. I tried turning off animated zoom and it doesn't work that way either.
Very unreliable and choppy with huge steps when it does happen to trigger.
2 votesAnimated zoom works only in GPU rendering mode and won’t work in specialized modes like Pixel or Overprint Preview — they still rely on CPU calculations.

Navigator contents not filling up window
I posted this in the forum too.
in the latest update, contents of navigator do not fill the window.Not only that, they are not even centered.
Navigator options are set to "view artboard contents only".
I tried checking/unchecking, but same weird beahviour.
So here are some screenshots.Illustrator window, and then Illustrator Navigator. Not only do the artboards not fit the window, they are cramped on the right side.
The second pair shows Ps behaving properly. You can notice behind PS Navigator is Ai Navigator and size discrepancy.
Is this a bug to be fixed?

Communicating with Adobe
Hi Adobe people,
I have a question about the communication with users. Under what circumstances does it make sense at all to post a comment/bug/idea/etc. in this place. Do users get heard? Is there a limit of votes above which ideas are actually implemented? How are decisions about what is fixed and what not made?
I am asking because I have so many points collected over the years that I am planning to post. But this is kind of a lot of work on the side of regular work day that I want to make sure it is worth the…

Mirroring elements takes line thickness or pasted inside elements into account which makes little sense
When mirroring lines via the effect tool at their outmost left or right side (see last screenshot), the effects takes the line thickness into account. I cannot think of any cases where this is of any use. I would expect a behaviour as shown in the second screenshot.
Same thing with elements that are pasted inside. The effect mirrors from the pasted inside object instead of the box into which the object is passted. Why? Is there one single case where this makes sense? I could not hink of any. Again the diesired behaviour is shwon in the second screenshot.

Not enough memory
Working on MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 with Illustrator 25.3.1
I have a simple shape like half of a circle which has a standard color filling plus a "inner Glow" effect. When I want to transform the object like scaling, it tells me there is not enough memory. When I hide the effect and redo the steps it will let me transform the object. Thanks for taking care.2 votes -
bug bruche appearance
The appearance of a bruche change when copied to an other file. Also in the bruche menu the selected bruche doesn't appear when selected, but a random other bruche.

TIFF形式で書き出す時に日本語でファイル名をつけるとTIFFファイルのレイヤー名が文字化けする

macOS10.15.6再現手順
１．アートボード上にアートワークを用意する。
２．ファイルメニュより「書き出し＞書き出し形式」を選択しオプションのTIFFファイルを選択する。
３．書き出されたTIFFファイルをPhotoshopで開くとレイヤー名が文字化けしている。結果
TIFFファイルのレイヤー名が文字化けしている。期待する結果
TIFFファイルのレイヤー名がver.25.2.3での結果のように正常に出力される。これは大勢に影響のない問題ですが、一連のUnicodeテキストの取り扱いに関する不具合だと考えられます。
書き出されたTIFFファイルのイメージリソースブロック中の8BIMシグネチャ（TIFFファイルはリトルエンディアンですからファイル内のバイト順序は逆転してMIB8で保持されています）の関連する識別子が２つあります。このうちnormがシフトJISコードでビッグエンディアンにて記述されます。もうひとつのluniはUnicodeでリトルエンディアンで記述されるのが本来の状態です。このluniの方が文字化けを起こす要因です。しかし、どの様な変換エラーなのかまでは把握できませんでした。以下は不具合が生じている部分の抜粋です。いずれもファイル名は「テスト-1.tif」としています。ver.25.2.3による出力
C630 B930 C830 2D00 3100ver.25.3.1での出力
C900 6500 C900 5800 C900 6700 2D00 3100※各文字コードはリトルエンディアンですからUnicodeLTとなります。

ご報告いただいた「日本語ファイル名で書き出した TIFF ファイルのレイヤー名が文字化け」問題を修正した、Illustrator 2021（ver.25.4.1）を一般リリースいたしました。
Creative Cloud デスクトップアプリケーションから、製品版のアップデートが可能となっておりますので、動作をお確かめください。

Eyedropper won't pick up arrowheads in 25.3.1
Using Illustrator 25.3.1 with Mac OS 11.4, the eyedropper won't pick up the arrowhead style from a stroke to replicate onto a new stroke. This has always worked before.

Illustrator stürzt nach Umschalten auf "Pfadansicht" ab.
Windows 10 - Illustrator 25.3.1
Ein Dokument in welchem ein 1px Raster mit 4 Unterteilungen angelegt wurde, bringt nach umschalten auf die Pfadansicht das Programm zum abstürzen.
Wenn ich den Raster ausblende, funktioniert Illustrator einwandfrei.1 vote
