QTWebEngine Page on MAC
Hi,
I have a plugin created for Adobe Illustrator CC 2017/2018.
In the plugin I have a panel which acts as a container for a QTWebEngine page.
The page consist of several text boxes where I can enter text.
I can perform basic operations like cut/copy/paste/selection on windows but I am unable to perform these actions on Mac (Os El Capitan).
What I observed is that on windows clipboard will allow saving text on pressing Ctrl+C/X/V but on MAC whenever I press Command+C/X/V on Illustrator, it is trying to invoke Edit menu for Cut Copy Paste and the control goes…1 vote -
SVGs not aligning properly unless empty objects in Layers are deleted
When I import an image in SVG format the alignment tools do not work properly to align the image with other elements on the artboard. I've found a work around for this, deleting the "title" layer of the SVG in the layers panel seems to allow it to work properly. There is no graphic information in the title layer as far as I'm aware so why does it affect how the alignment tools work? Layers Panel Glitch
After upgrading to Mojave OS on a mac the layers panel glitches or flashes each time I click / draw on an art board or area outside an art board.
It also happens when I manipulate the layers panel in any way, toggling visibility, opening or closing layer groups or any other operation.
This flashing is irritating and takes my eye from the work.
Attempted fixes
Resetting preferences
Adjusting GPU performance
Turning of animated zoom
Uninstalling illustrator

I have read many posts on bugs, I read that many problems have been solved. it does not work for me at all.

- the program is very very slow, almost still
- the pointer selects paths of objects without a voluntary action
- the pointer makes endless selections on the sheet
- the top menu does not respond or does so after many attempts

Crashes every time I open anything. Or save a new file. Completely unusable.
Ever since the last update, Illustrator has become completely unusable. It locks up every time I try to open an existing file, or save a new file. Forcing me to force quit the application.

checkered boxes block my screen

Custom paper size in print dialog box is grayed out
I am using Windows 10 with Adobe Illustrator CC 22.1 64 bit. I need to print on 11.5 x 11 paper. I can't choose Custom or enter in paper dimensions. Those options are grayed out.

Asset Export Incorrectly Clipping
If you create a filled rounded rectangle with a 1 pt border, add it to the Asset Export panel and export, the end result is noticeably clipped. Even though the shape may be aligned to be pixel perfect and the stroke aligned so that it should be inside, the output shows the frame is now non uniform in terms of stroke width.
If you didn't use stroke, you probably won't notice the inaccuracy.
See the attached image and the edges are clearly truncated.
Says there are some fundamental alignment issues that need to be addressed.

It does not change even if you enter a value on the Transform panel
After entering X position, move to Y position with tab key and enter and enter value and value will not change even if enter key or tab key is pressed.
Sometimes, this bug appears in Y position or Height.

A white outline appears around objects sometimes that is not supposed to be there.

Panels load on different screens
The setup: I am working on 2 4K Monitors. 1 is a 32" LG and the other is the 24" Wacom Cintiq Pro (however, this happens regardless of what type of monitor you have). I don't spread my workflow between monitors like some people do, I prefer to have browsing on one and my Illustrator workspace on the other. However, since I do work with a Cintiq I very often swap my workspace from my Cintiq back to my monitor. Here is where the problem lies!

Objects moving and resizing themselves
My team is having issues with selected objects moving and resizing themselves when we're not actually moving them (hand not on mouse). We just had a sizing error because of this. Please advise.

colour themes/swatches/window never work
colour themes/swatches/window never work. Every time I try to do anything within the colour theme window I'm either asked to sign in when already signed in, or I try to create a theme and it 'saves' but doesn't actually do so, and afterward the theme window goes blank and I have to restart illustrator.
And now instead of doing work I'm here writing this and researching alternatives to adobe products. The sign in thing is driving me nuts.

Not Responding every time PDF saved
Every time I save my work as a PDF file my Illustrator freezes for up to 10 minutes at a time. This makes productivity EXTREMELY slow and frustrating!

Illustrator version 22 is not supported on macOS 10.14 (Mojave).
Please upgrade to version 23 to resolve the issue. -
macOS Mojave zoom in and out choppy
MacBook Pro 2017 just upgraded to macOS Mojave and the zoom is slow to respond and the artboard moves all over the place. any short term fixes would be appreciated.

Color palette overrides fill colors and color modes in Illustrator 2018
Hi, I am a design professor and most students in my class experienced a specific problem when we were doing an exercise to learn how to apply the correct color palettes to different logo files. Specifically, we created fictional identity designs as a means to learn how to create a production-ready bundle of files (a logo with versions in b&w, spot color (Pantone), 4-color process, and RGB). Libraries drop down doesn't allow me to select other libraries
I can't click on other libraries from the one that's already showing. I click the drop down menu and I try to click another library, but nothing happens and I stay on the already selected library.
