Image Trace (Make and Expand) has changed default settings
When following the Object>Image Trace>Make and Expand, the action used to just convert the image to a black and white cutout, but since the last update it's changed to "logo" preset like in the advanced settings. Now I have to enter the advanced settings every time to use the black and white option, rendering the menu option useless, and taking a few extra steps to get the result I want. Is there a way to change it back to the old settings? Or actually be able to choose what the default setting in the menu option is?

White Lines After Using Image Crop
I am running into an error when I go to crop an image. The original image does not contain any white lines or grid lines running through it, however when the image is cropped these evenly spaced white thin lines appear across the image. These lines will even show up after the image is exported. Any fixes or resolutions? Illustrator is up-to-date, I'm running macOS Ventura 13.0. (This does not happen with other images that are cropped in this file). To crop the image I am just simply going to Object>Crop Image

Image trace bugged + presets
Presets are not working as before, constant error when turning on the preview mode.
Also, when I try to re-edit a traced image, I get a continuous error [UKCO].3 votes -
Snap to point
Why do you have to zoom right in almost to get points to snap to each other properly? Do you understand how disruptive to workflow this is? It seems to be a real issue when not zoomed right in to an image. This is very annoying!

オブジェクトを再配色にて、RGBスライダーが短く表示される

Illustrator27.2(27.1.*)再配色ウインドウを開いた時に、下部の調整部分がRGBだとバーが短く表示されます。CMYKや他の調整モードに切り替えた後RGBに戻すとバーの長さは戻りますが、何度も切り替えているとRGBのバーのみがまた短くなることがあります。
27.2にアップデートすることで解決するかと思いましたが解決していなかったので、前のバージョンの正確な数字を覚えていないのですが27.1.*でも同様でした。3 votes -
Space on text disapear
Windows 10 OS
Adobe Illustrator (desktop) all updated (27.2)When i use text (type tool), for a single line or a text box, the spaces between the words disapear as i type it. I tried different fonts, different idioms on the text, tried check and uncheck hyphenization and always get the same result.
Is that a configuration ussue that im not aware of? or is it a bug?3 votesThe problem got solved by opening the Justification dialog and reapplying the existing values. This is still a bug though, please vote if you meet the same problem.

Keyboard shortcut for "Navigate to Next Document" stopped working on MacOS
With the latest update to Illustrator 27.2, I've found the "Navigate to Next Document" keyboard shortcut to have stopped working. I have checked the Keyboard Shortcuts tool and verified that it remains as "Illustrator Defaults" and it is set to ⌘`. In fact none of the related shortcuts work.
To be sure, I've tried a different keyboard with the same result and the shortcut does continue to work in other applications (as it is the default shortcut on macOS to cycle around documents.)

Illustrator 2023 often force close when drawing with the pencil tool
Illustrator 2023 version 27.2 freezes when I try to draw using the pencil tool for about 5-10 minutes with a pen tablet, and then immediately force close itself. and this keeps repeating several times and I even tried restarting my PC, changing the graphics performance for the Illustrator app to "High Performance", updating the latest drivers and software. but the problem is still not resolved.
I really need your help for this issue so that it can be resolved quickly. very annoying when I'm working and suddenly force close by itself.
additional information I use hardware: CPU AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, RAM 32GB DDR4, SSD NVMe M.2 500GB, Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti, be quiet 700w PSU, Windows 11 Pro 22H2 22621.963.

Bug: dragging global swatch to the “plus” button doesn’t work as expected
MacOS 12.6.2
Illustrator 27.1.1To replicate the issue:
Create a group of swatches and put a global swatch inside the group.
Drag this swatch to the [+] button to create a duplicate.
The actual result: A new global swatch is created outside the group with “Original Name copy” name while the original swatch is also renamed to the same name. Changing one of those swatches also changes the other, they act as one swatch.
Expected result: the same as when you alt-click the [+] button to duplicate a swatch. A new global swatch is created in the same group, it’s named “Original Name copy”, while the original swatch keeps its original name. They act as two different swatches.MacOS 12.6.2

Vertical Type Tool Not Working Properly

When using the vertical type tool, it used to make a word have the letters stacked over each other. (like in column 'B) Now when you click with the Vertical Type Tool to type anything, it appears as image 'A'. I do not think its supposed to look like a word that has just been rotated 90 degrees? CMYKのパラメータで触ったもの以外が勝手に0％になる。

CMYKの異なるオブジェクトを選択後、CMYKのいずれかを同じ数値にしようとすると、選択したもの以外のパラメーターが全て0％に変更されてしまう。
以前はそのようなことはなく、選択したもの以外のパラメーターはキープされていた。
例えば、C:10,M:20,Y:30:K40とC50:M:60,Y:70,K:80の2つのオブジェクトを選択し、両方のYの値を90に同時に変更しようとした場合、CMKの3つの数値はキープされず勝手に0に変わってしまう。3 votes -

表示されない形式はaiとpdfです。

Cannot input color code in Websafe RGB
When i try to add the color code for R, G and B in websafe RGB scheme, as soon as i enter the value for R and move to G, both the fill and stroke becomes null. I can only enter the color code in the bottom text area which has the entire code

When working with hi-res Black and White Bitmaps Illustrator goes to CPU preview disabling GPU Animated / Scrubby Zoom.
When using hi-res BW bitmaps, 'Scrubby Zoom' or 'Animated Zoom' disables itself even if it's enabled in preferences. This happens after roughly 1 or 2 seconds after opening a file with this kind of images. The window goes from CMYK/Preview mode to CMYK/CPU mode as if it was in Separations Preview or CPU preview, even though it wasn't set to either of those. View>View Using GPU becomes grayed out so I can't go back.
This bug is happening on a file with 2 1200dpi bitmap 5"x5" (embedded and/or linked), each under 1MB in size, making the Illustrator file 3MB total, included as sample to test. A 5"x5" 600dpi 74MB CMYK linked or embedded file does not have the same issue. Screen shot of both as additional proof. This bug is also happening on a smaller file Illustrator file, it has two 8.5x11 embedded 300dpi Black and White Bitmap tifs.
I can reproduce this problem on both regular and beta Ilustrator versions on Windows 11 version 22H2, Intel i9 10850k 32GB ram, Nvidia RTX3090 24GB vram. This bug does not occur on a Macbook Pro i9 9980h 32GB ram, AMD 5500m 8GB vram on macOS Ventura 13.0.1. (It can get laggy with many BW hi-res bitmap images but never switches it's self to CPU graying out the GPU option)
This is very strange because this seems like an error that should happen if you run out of VRAM or if the GPU can't handle. Yet the RTX in the PC has 3x as much VRAM and is nearly 500% faster compute than the 5500m. Windows is up to date with latest update 11/14/2022. Nvidia Studio drivers are also latest with update from 12/8/2022.

Direct Selection Tool not working
I'm on a Macbook pro (macOS Big Sur version 11.7) using Adobe Illustrator 2023.
When using the direct selection tool and clicking on an object or path, the anchors don't show up and the object/path does not look like it is selected. However, if I run my mouse around the edge of the object/path then the anchors will show up when the mouse is hovered above it and I can select the specific anchor. However the handles don't show up.
What can I do to fix this?
I've tried restarting my computer and resetting my preferences but the problem still persists.I'm on a Macbook pro (macOS Big Sur version 11.7) using Adobe Illustrator 2023.

language change
I am not able to change the language of the apps I am paying monthly money for. Your support team ist not able to help / sending me around, so I explained 3 people what is the problem in german and english. I have changed the language on my michrosoft windonws - it is in english now, my adobe cloud is in english + I have deinstalled and installed the apps / nothing helps -still german - the support team is not able to help / sending me the same links / very annoying and dissapointing - adobe is giving standarts on ux and ui design - but not enabling the customers to change the language of the apps

Create Outline changed text frame (with text only) to coloured block
macOS Ventura, Illustrator 27.0.1
I have several documents with texts in frames and texts as 'loose'/text area. But as soon as everything is converted to letter contours, some text frames change into colored blocks. In the example file it concerns a Google font, but it also happens with Adobe CC fonts, the problem seems to have to do with the text frames, see the example file.

Recent files not showing on home screen...only recent cloud documents
My home screen only shows previous cloud documents. I work off of a network and do not use the cloud. This is on my work computer and my home computer after the update to 27.0. I do not need to see my recent cloud documents...just the ones on my computer and network.

Can't Export to DWG
You used to be able to export your file as a DWG, but in the 2023 update you no longer can. Why? If you opena DWG you can still save it, but if you open a fresh document you can't export to DWG like normal. CAD and illustrator crossover is extremely common and important to have and this needs fixed ASAP.

Keyboard Shortcuts (hotkeys) get reset to blanks when Illustrator is updated to 2023 / 2024 / 2025...
All typical mac menu commands are not working in Illustrator 2023. Command 0, Command +, command N etc. are not working.
