1. Opacity Slider Not Visible If Docked to Bottom

   If you dock top panel with tools and actions to the bottom you can't see the slider for Opacity at all. Other menus like "Stroke" and "Style" are popping up just fine.

2. Sizes of vector art is NOT accurate

   When I select a vector graphic (a logo), I go to Transform to set the size.
   I set the size to 3in x 3in
   But when I PRINT and measure the graphic, it is NOT 3in x 3in.
   I have to set the graphic to 3.1in x 3.1in in order to output an actual 3in x 3in graphic

   This has caused me a LOT of issues when I am outputting graphics that need to be a specific size.

   WHY are the transform measurements NOT accurate?

3. Export for Screens Inaccurate on Large-Size Canvas

   The export for screens, scaling by width option does not always export at the right size. For example, I will input 2000 pixels, but the exported images will be 20,000 pixels. Sometimes, it does output 2000 pixels as desired. I believe the pattern may be whether the file is a large-sized canvas or not, the large-size canvas being the inaccurate export. For the time, I have been using "200" to get 2,000 pixels. However, this feature is essential for exporting mockups of large-format prints as the true size is too large for sharing. Usually I am exporting JPG. I am using Illustrator V30.6 on Windows.

4. Regression: Freeform Gradient renders differently after scaling in Illustrator 30.5.1 (same AI file renders correctly in 29.0)

   Illustrator Versions

   • Illustrator 29.0 → Works correctly

   • Illustrator 30.5.1 → Incorrect rendering

   I found a rendering regression between Illustrator 29.0 and Illustrator 30.5.1.

   The exact same AI file renders differently depending on the Illustrator version.

   The artwork contains a Compound Path with a Freeform Gradient.

   In Illustrator 29.0, the rendering is correct.

   In Illustrator 30.5.1, after scaling the object, the color interpolation changes unexpectedly.

   Most noticeably, the letter "o" changes its rendered appearance even though the Freeform Gradient control points remain exactly the same.

   ---

   1. Open the attached AI file.

   2. Select the Compound Path containing the "only" logo.

   3. Scale the object to a larger size.

   4. Compare the rendering between Illustrator 29.0 and Illustrator 30.5.1.

   ---

   The rendered colors should remain identical regardless of scaling.

   The same AI file should render identically between Illustrator versions.

6. "Move art with artboard" always moves pattern tiles, ignoring the "transform pattern tiles" pref.

   First observed on 2026 (30.3). Also found on 2020, I'm gonna assume this has existed as long as "move art with artboard" has been around. I was doing some work with a lot of large patterns and wanted to move the whole thing relative to their origin without redefining a bunch of graphic styles. Very unexpected behavior.

   I would not be surprised if "scale art with artboard" also ignores the "transform pattern tiles" setting but the patterns I was using make that hard to check, so I didn't. Please check this too and fix it if it's also misbehaving. :)

7. テキストが消えます

   Illustrator2025以降のバージョンで、入力したテキストの一部が消えてしまいます。
   テキストを入力→保存→ファイルを閉じる→開き直す　と入力したテキストの一部が消えてしまうことがあり、入力し直しになります。
   テキストをを平打ちした時とエリア内テキスト両方で同じ症状が起きています。
   Illustrator2024ではそのようなことはありませんでした。

8. Intertwine group + opacity mask = crash on save.

   Title says it all, really.

   Initially discovered on 30.1, the oldest version I tried it on was 27.8.1 which feels old enough to say this may have been there since intertwine first showed up. Still there in 30.3.

9. Linked files are displayed broken when opened

   My linked files are not working properly about 40% of the time. When I open them, they often display outdated colors, overlapping artwork, or other incorrect content. This issue has been happening consistently for almost five months, and it's becoming extremely frustrating.

   Sometimes everything works perfectly, but on days like today, every single linked file is incorrect. My only workaround is to repeatedly restart Illustrator—sometimes 20 times a day—and I've also tried restarting my computer, but the problem keeps coming back.

   This ongoing issue is having a significant impact on my workflow, and I would really appreciate any help identifying and resolving the root cause.

10. トラックパッドを使って３本指ドラッグをした時の挙動

11. Data integrity bug: Illustrator 30.3 changes CMYK swatch values after pasting clipboard bitmap image and reopening file

    Document color mode: CMYK
    Issue type: Data integrity / color swatch value corruption

    Summary:
    Adobe Illustrator 30.3 reproducibly changes CMYK swatch values after a bitmap image from the system clipboard is pasted into a CMYK document. The issue appears after saving, closing, and reopening the .ai file.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Create a new CMYK document in Illustrator 30.3.
    2. Create a CMYK swatch, for example C10 M10 Y10 K0.
    3. Paste any bitmap screenshot/image from the system clipboard into the document.
    4. Save the .ai file.
    5. Close the file.
    6. Reopen the file.
    7. Check the CMYK swatch value.

    Actual result:
    The CMYK swatch value changes from C10 M10 Y10 K0 to approximately C9.77 M9.77 Y9.77 K0 after reopening the file.

    Expected result:
    The CMYK swatch value should remain exactly C10 M10 Y10 K0. Pasting a bitmap image from the system clipboard should not modify existing CMYK swatch definitions.

    Additional observations:

    • The issue is reproducible in Illustrator 30.3.
    • The issue is specifically triggered by bitmap images pasted from the system clipboard.
    • If no clipboard bitmap image is pasted, the CMYK swatch value does not change.
    • CMYK values such as 0%, 50%, and 100% do not appear to change.
    • Values such as 10% change to approximately 9.77%, which suggests a possible unintended 8-bit quantization or percentage remapping.
    • This is not just a display issue. The saved file reopens with changed CMYK swatch values.

    Impact:
    This is a serious print/prepress data integrity issue. It can silently alter exact CMYK swatch values, brand colors, and production colors in saved Illustrator files.

12. Naming a layer "Unnamed" bug

    To duplicate, simply create a layer and call it "Unnamed" (case-sensitive). On my PC, whenever I do this, the Measure tool breaks and the app starts throwing UIDu and NOKY errors. Unless the devs can patch this, remember to add "Unnamed" to your "never use this keyword" list.

14. Editable Type isn't scaling correctly, even at 10% scale

    I am creating a sign in 1-1 scale. When scaling down to fit on a proof page. the Type isn't scaling down correctly.
    The image shows an outline text overlayed on top of the editable text, then selecting all and scaling down to 10%.
    You can see how the live text is not the same as the outline text.
    Never had this issue until the recent update (30.6)

15. Hidden Characters remain visible when exporting in PNG

    Windows 11 Pro Version 25H2

    I work with Hidden Characters on, and when I export a PNG (export for Screens), they remain visible. Hidden Characters aren't supposed to remain visible after a PNG export. The only way that I could resolve the issue is to turn them off. But when I try to disable hidden characters, it looks like they are already off (even though I can still see them), and I have to turn them on, then off again, to make sure they are completely disabled.

16. Blend easing not working properly on overlapping shapes

    Whenever I create a blend with overlapping shapes, the easing does not work. The slider is active, but moving it does nothing. Easing does work when I create a blend without overlapping. And while I can start the blend without overlap and then move the smaller shape over the larger shape, the easing warps the lines instead of adjusting spacing.

17. Dragging and rearranging several objects at once in Layers is broken when a filter is applied

    As documented in other reports, this remains broken. It may work ONCE, based on no discernible pattern, but never again in dozens of tries.

    This afflicts both platforms.

19. Drop shadows in .ai files hide original object

    When drop shadows are applied to placed images and the file is saved, only the drop shadow shows up both in the preview on MacOS, as well as when importing to InDesign or Photoshop. RGB or CMYK (in Illustrator) doesn't matter, the placed object is always missing.

20. 100% size is shown too big when a document is opened the first time, in 30.5.1

    New version – new bugs.
    Open Ai 30.5.1.

    First opening of a document: 100% view (command-1) is displayed too big (like 150%).

    Closing the document.

    Opening documents now: 100% view is displayed correctly.
