  1. Fonts not synching across licenses on two laptops

    My fonts (not from typekit) aren't synching across the licenses of two laptops - so if I want to work on a file from Dropbox I can't as the fonts are missing on the laptop I didn't create the file on. Defeats the purpose of being able to have AI on two laptops.

  2. Trim View (2019) is rendering properly in GPU view when adding from libraries

    Details of your operating system and version of Adobe Illustrator: Windows 10 Insider Build 18312. Illustrator 23.0.1
    The steps you were taking when you experienced the issues: When working in Trim View in GPU view, when I add assets from the Libraries panel and move them onto the artboard, my background raster image gets black blocks/rendering issue. If I zoom in and out it goes away until I move the top object again. If I switch to CPU view the issue goes away.

  3. resize does not respect the homothety

    1) It is impossible to draw a specific object
    If we write 100 x 100 pt in L and H. This draws: 101,172 x 100,657 pt
    It's not accurate and not square !!

    2) Having the box "keep proportions V and H" checked.
    You can not write 200 pt in H and keep the proportion respected.
    Example I type V = 200 pt. He writes me V = 202,172 pt and H = 203,292 pt

  4. Expanded pucker/bloat effect is a circle or ellipse in SVG

    Windows 10, Illustrator 23.0.1

    1. Create a circle or an equilateral rectangle.
    2. Apply the Pucker & Bloat effect; either one will do.
    3. Expand appearance. Check that the effects are now regular paths.
    4. File > Save As > SVG Result: Either check the saved SVG or view the code. The shape that was a circle will be generated as a circle, the rectangle will be an ellipse.

    Expected result: The SVG displays the paths as they appear in Illustrator.

  5. Too many bugs. Laggy!

    Too much bugs.. Can't open two files at the same time. Stuck at the Recent files screen. Regret getting this version installed.. Nobody check this in adobe before it goes live for download? We are not testers, we pay to use it in our companies for our clients. Do not release new versions full of bugs pls! I beg you ADOBE!

  6. Freeform gradient line stops disappearing

    The freeform gradient tool is very cool in its flexibility but I have encountered some major bugs with the line option. I can create the line stops but if I change the opacity of a stop from 100% then stops along the line most of the time one or more stops disappear.

    Sometimes just clicking or clicking and moving a stop makes stops disappear as well.

    It makes the tool unusable. Hopefully, it will become more reliable in a future release.

  7. SVG scalingunit

    Hello,

    Is there an option to export a svg file in mm ?
    it looks like from Illustrator the svg file is exported in "px" , so when imported in a CAD package the scale is not good.
    And I can't find the good ratio to retrieve the right dimensions.

  8. Shortcut not working

    Win10 cc2019 azerty KB : CTRL + ; shortcut (hide guides does not work for no apparent reason.) If I try to assign another combo CTRL + , it works fine. Any reason why ?

  9. Illustrator ignores ‘Use Preview Bounds’ setting unless multiple objects are selected

    Not much more to say. Single object selected? Bounding box ignores the object's stroke. Multiple objects selected? Bounding box encompasses the stroke.

  10. Workspace window falls off the page

    The newest update does not fix the issue I am having with the workspace window falling off the page when I try to drag the bottom right corner to better fit my art/desktop as needed. Does not respond to the position of my mouse, I have to over exaggerate where I want it while I click and drag my mouse.

    Kimberly, the image you attached to the report is not related to it, and shows a screenshot of the UV page instead.

    So if you are still having this problem, please provide a proper screenshot or maybe a video even, if necessary. Either way, please comment back on this.

    I'm having an issue with Arial Bold not being recognized and the font is some other. I'm on Windows 10 and my AI version is 23.0.1

  12. What video formats can we upload to bug requests?

    I used to be able to upload videos to the bug reports but now no matter what format I seem to choose, I get a note that the format cannot upload. Furthermore, the bug report gets posted anyway without notice so if I try to upload a different format the post is double posted.

    Can you please tell us what types of formats are allowed?

    We receive videos in form of .mov, .mp4 and at times even .mpg.
    This portal allows attachments up to 50 mb and you can use any format for it. Is it possible there is a software or an browser extention that is troubling you. Can you please try this bug form from another browser or computer.

  13. Dragging multiple groups by text anchor deselects other groups.

    See attached video. With multiple groups selected, clicking and dragging by one of the group's text anchor deselects all other groups. Only the group with the selected text gets moved.

  14. Missing workspace when using external monitors

    When I use my external Monitors (Dell, only 3 month old) in combination with my newest generation MacBook Pro Illustrator crashes all the time when the monitors are set into standby-mode. Strange to say this issue only appears when the monitors are in standby-mode for more than 10 Seconds!

    After 10 seconds waking them up illustrator only shows one of my tool-options. No toolbar, oder canvas. At the moment it's really hard for me to work with this issue because i need to restart illustrator all the time to get rid of it.

  16. text change when opening in Illustrator CC 2019

    Illustrator 23.0.1 on Mac OS 10.12.6
    I have issues when I open a document that was created in Illustrator CC2017 in CC 2019. It seems that the text spacing is different, so sometimes some characters are changing to the next line!

  17. Annoying opening screen

    I reinstalled the system. I removed and reinstalled Adobe Illustrator. No solution. I don't understand why the problem is caused.

  18. Vectorise text doesn't work on text mask

    There's a bug in Illustrator (all versions MacOS 10.12.6):
    when there's a non-vectorised text mask in a file and you do select all -> vectorise text, the non-vectorised text mask will not be vectorised.
    Then when you re-open the file on a computer without the active fonts, it won't give you a warning that there's a missing font!
    Only when you click on the mask it will say that there's a font missing.

  19. start up screen flashing black and white

    when i open adobe illustrator the screen flashes black and white continuously and the menus close instantly when i click on them. i can open a new document by pressing ctrl n but cannot click on any of the menus.
    this only happens when i am signed in, which i need. i can sign out by quickly clicking the sign out button in the help menu before it closes again, but this is not ideal.
    this only happens in illustrator CC 2015, not photoshop.

  20. Illustrator 23 PDF-export: everything in caps after update 23.0.1

    Dear Adobe,

    I updated some time ago to Illustrator 23.0.1 in Windows 10. And I run into a problem that drives me crazy. I work for a company, and our corporate font is the "Rotis" series (truetype). We use that for everything of course. The problem: When I export a file from Illustrator to PDF, the PDF is completely build up in capitals and the spacing is totaly incorrect.
