Transparent lines at beginning and end of Gradient Slider
Changing the Opacity of any Gradient Stop in the Gradient Slider to less than 100% appears to add 1px transparency grid lines to the left and right of the Gradient Slider preview.
In my screenshots, 100% Opacity displays correctly. 99% shows the transparency grid display bug on the left an right of the slider.
The lines do not scale with the palette.

Show Tints/Shades menu issue
Show Tints/Shades menu in color guide does not allow to select a color on a first click, most of times you have to click several times to select the color, and on my Cintiq 13 Companion it is almost impossible to do it with the stilus.

Borders_Dashed Treatment Changes Spot Color to Process
I draw a box, stroke it with a spot color, apply a "borders_dashed" treatment. The Spot color becomes process. Please fix.

Swatches disappear
I've been experiencing this phenomena in which my swatches would disappear every now and then. One day, I'll have all the default swatches available in the swatch menu, other days, it'll only be the color white.

Command+V not working in Pantone Connect
I just had an automatic update for Illustrator version [30.0], and since then, copying the hex code and pasting with shortcut Command+V is not working in the Pantone Connect extension. It seems that it is working with a right click of the mouse, but does anyone have an idea why the shortcut is not working anymore, as this was way faster?

Swatch Info rendering / grouping issue
I was creating a tutorial for the swatches info, and I had a bug with the swatch object creation.
I think the edge rendered outside the canvas but it created a group of patterns and text. total gitchout, but illustrator is stable, I filmed attached screeshot explaining

App Lag when using Recolor
I am working with Adobe Illustrator 29.7.1 on Windows.
When using the Recolor dialog the app stops responding to any command or action I take outside from the artwork display.
The app also doesn't inform me if there is a crash or that the app is not responding.

I can't delete or merge swatches.
I have 4 separate issues, all stemming from the swatches panel:
1. I can't select a range of swatches and delete them. I have to select them individually and then delete them. Huge waste of time.
2. Sometimes when I delete a swatch, the thumbnail remains in the panel but changes to the red slash for "no color." I now have multiples of these in my swatches panel (see attachment).
3. Merge swatches simply doesn't work, even if they are both global swatches that I've generated.

Issue saving document on hard drive after creating a pattern swatch, file won't save or AI crashes. Cloud document saves fine!
I keep recreating a pattern swatch to use on a social media image, and every time I go to save the document Illustrator either crashes completely or won't save the file and I have to start over again. Weirdly, saving to the cloud works just fine, it's only when I have to my hard drive on my brand new MacBook Pro. If I do any other work within the file, it will save. But if I create the pattern and use it within the file, the crash happens. Expected result is to be able to save the file on my…

In "recolor artwork" when I select a "user defined" color palette, it lets me chose it, but will not use those colors.
In "recolor artwork", when I select a "user defined" color palette, it lets me chose that palette, but will not use those colors in the recoloring options. For instance, I can select the color palette, but when I go to randomly change the color order, it does not use those colors, it only uses the colors that are already in the artwork.
In previous versions, once I selected the "user defined" colors, that selection of swatch colors would appear in the "Swatch group" side panel. That no longer happens. And as stated before, just doesn't work in general.

Illustrator Paths Automatically Filled Black Despite No Color Selection
In the past few days Illustrator has given me trouble: as you can see in the picture i get a black filling on any path I create even if no color is selected!
I have just uninstalled and re-downloaded the illustrator app from my creative cloud (version 29.3.1) but it didn't solve the problem.
I can't work this way.

Symbol swatches on network drives won't stay persistent
We store our color and symbol swatches on a network drive. If we set our color swatches to be persistent, they automatically load whenever we restart Illustrator. This is not the case with symbol swatches. We have to reload manually every time. We expect them to operate the same way as color swatches. Please fix. Running Win 10/11 and the latest Illustrator.

Recolor - Color Theme Picker not working with recolor tool
When trying to recolor an asset, the color theme picker doesn't function as normally.
This feature was working normally last week.

Recolor artwork with patterns doesn't work
Using Mac OS Ventura 13.3
Adobe Illustrator 29.2.1As described, I am able to access the recolor artwork panel but when I click OK it doesn't do anything. Video below. It used to work.

"Swap fill and stroke" results
"Drop fill and stroke" results in faint, miscolored strokes. This problem only began today, 9 February 2025.

Spot colors converting to Magenta when saving .PDF files
We have a few team members encountering issues when saving PDF files out of Illustrator (running Windows 10 and 11).
If the file contains spot colors (built from scratch or pulled from library), there's a chance it will convert to solid magenta. The biggest challenge is that the glitch isn't always noticeable on the designer's screen, so sometimes it will get sent to the client without knowing. It's also not always repeatable, so it's difficult to troubleshoot.1 vote
