   have to click the eye to view each and every layer on each artboard/layer that is hidden.

   It will HIDE ALL layers using pull down menu or keyboard shortcuts -- but IF I have manually clicked a few layers to hide them, and then want to turn ALL back on at once -- it won't SHOW all layers either way of using pull down > show all layers menu or using opt shift click or Cmd shift click or CMD click or any kind of keyboard shutcut.

   The layers I have clicked manually all stay hidden until I manually click the eye back on. This is ridiculous.

2. alert() function is slicing the last word in the output window.

   Somehow the last word of an alert message to Illustrator keeps getting sliced. Notice in my attached example how the last word of my alert string "messages." gets cut off.

   Oddly enough there is some difference – the .AI doesn't seem to save at all, but saving from .AI to CS6 .EPS when opened after crash seems to have saved down successfully.

4. Constant Random Crashing

   Adobe Illustrator CC 2020; A coworker and I are coming across the same issue where our Illustrator is consistently crashing almost every hour or so throughout the day, seemingly at random. It will happen when trying to select/move an object, when trying to save, when clicking on another window, when clicking on a dropdown, and even when the machine is just sitting here doing nothing on my lunch breaks, it's not a question of if it will crash, it's when.

   Sitting behind us is another co-worker who has yet to have this issue happen on his machine, we're all on fairly similar MacBook Pros, same network.

5. The document "annoyingbug.ai" is currently getting saved. Try again after the process is complete.

   "The document "annoyingbug.ai" is currently getting saved. Try again after the process is complete." This pops up when you use save as while there is a save currently going on.

   This dialog box was removed when closing the document in 24.1.1. Can we also get it removed when using save as?

   Would be nice if the save as started once the current save is done like in previous versions.

6. 24.0.3 pencil tool is laggy and glitchy

   I updated to 24.0.3 a few days ago and my pencil tool has been really fiddly ever since, with a lot of skipping of the first fraction of a second of a new stroke, and a certain amount of picking up my motions after I lift the stylus up, as well. If I undo and draw the same shape again at about half the speed, I get the shape I expect, but this really isn't sustainable in the long run for a workflow based around lots of fast Pencil tool shapes!

   I've reverted to 24.0.1 and it's back to normal. Same plugins, settings, and everything.

   Interestingly enough this was also happening when I switched to Astute's Dynamic Sketch tool. I didn't think to try it on the Brush or Blob Brush before reverting.

   OSX 10.14.6, Wacom drivers 6.3.35-2.

7. zoom tool malfunction

   HI there,

   On my Acer laptop, currently running windows 10, Illustrator had turned off some performance settings last week after a bug fix. when I press certain commands on my keyboard for the selections and zoom tool, the screen zooms in at the maximum and I can no longer zoom back out.

   I believe I am currently using Adobe Illustrator version 24.1.3

8. Rulers disappear at restart.

   Even If I have checked "Show/Hide Rulers Across All Documents" every time I restart Illustrator, I have to activate rulers AGAIN. Come on guys, you always need a wheel to drive a car, we always need rulers ON. Help us with this bug.

9. Black versions of color fonts are no longer accessible

   EmojiOne font B&W fallback version is no longer accessible in current versions of Illustrator. This is a crying shame! I am forced to stay with AI CC2015 because I need access to the black and white version of this font. Why would Adobe take away a perfectly useful variation of a font because it is a "color" font????

10. Optimize file open & Save Time on slow networks PDF issue

    With this option turned on, editing a PDF in illustrator with form fields, attachments, or other pages causes them to be erased completely- leaving the main page only and form fields completely gone. It only happens on-network. Locally it will retain all other information.

11. Illustrator Keeps Crashing

    Illustrator crashes every time I use it. I could be drawing for two minutes and it will crash out of nowhere. It often lags as well. I have the newest update and have tried uninstalling and installing it and still it continues to crash. I am using Windows 10 Pro with illustrator.

    We have fixed the issues reported in this thread. Please create a new issue if you see a Illustrator Crash on latest builds.

12. Latest version takes a long time to open and save files often 5 minutes or more for a simple file this is not acceptable.

13. [Extendscript] SaveDlg Default Filename Bugged

    Hi there,

    I'm having some issues with a custom extendscript that we use in our production house. This script is pretty basic, and is meant to make eps / pdf / ai conversion easier (we have some strict EPS settings that must be followed). This script has worked on AiCC (original release) up through CC 2019, but is now behaving oddly in Illustrator 2020.

    When you run the script, a custom "Save As" dialog should show up. The filename should default to the current document's name, with .eps set as the filetype suffix. However, when running this script in Illustrator 2020, the filename field is ALWAYS defaulting to "Untitled.eps".

    I've attached the script file for reference, along with two screenshots. One that shows how this script's save dialog looks in Illustrator 2019 (correct), and one that shows how this script's save dialog looks in Illustrator 2020 (incorrect).

    It would be great if this was fixed. For reference, I have tested this code on MacOS Mojave 10.14.6 as well as MacOS Catalina 10.15.2. Both OS's result in the same behavior.

16. Arrowheads

    Latest update breaks 30 years of arrowhead usage and procedure.
    I don't want to scroll thru 40 different heads.
    It's not necessary to break what was working for decades.

17. Reflect Tool options order is incorrect

    When using the Reflect Tool's panel (pressing enter), pressing the "Up" and "Down" keys on the keyboard recognizes the order to be

    2. Angle
    3. Horizontal

    which doesn't match the UI.

18. Color Shifting

    In Illustrator CS5.5 I was able to adjust color swatches by increments (IE: Cyan: 0 to Cyan: .025). Now, the color picker will round the color to the nearest whole number or push the color to a different number. I've tried using the recoloring feature and I get the same situation. It will work sometimes, but will more often not work and just round the color up or down and not retain the value I have entered to CMYK. I always check if my file is set to CMYK because I am in the printing industry. Now, I can't hit those colors I need because I'm locked into color adjustments that Illustrator want's to push to me which is not good in my line of work.

19. Incorrect Transform Resizing

    When I resize an object in Illustrator by typing the exact number in the dimensions box it reverts it to be slightly off.

    For example (Attached images follow my example explanation below):
    I have a logo that is 2012.13px wide that I need to be 2000px wide. I should be able to simply type 2000px in the transform width box, but when I do it reverts it to 1999.998px wide. If I type in 2000px again it will stay at 1999.998px. The only way around it that I have found is to change it to something drastically different like 1000px width and then change it to the 2000px width. Then it finally sticks at the desired width of 2000px.

    I would like to say this is just a minor bug that I could deal with and just always have to manually adjust this multiple times to get it to stick. However, I also have a script that I often run that needs to size objects to a specific width or height and this same bug occurs. My script is set up to the exact diminsions in the code and is exhibiting the exact same errors that I see when working manually which means I dont have a user error with my code or script, this is a larger bug with Illustrator.

    Another thing that might be helpful for getting this bug resolved: I have found this error to occur most often when I am working on resizing grouped objects that contain vector shapes as well as text boxes with text.

    I am running Version 10.15.2 mac OS Catalina and also have the most updated version of Illustrator 2020.
