1. Enter key does not commit a change in a panel / dialog / field

   Transparency panel in Appearance window does not react on Enter in Illustrator 27.0

   After the latest update, this bug is spotted. In Appearance window -> Opacity panel (either stroke or fill) -> enter desired opacity -> hit Enter/CR -> no reaction (expected: apply value and close the Opacity panel). The TAB button however still works (the value applies). Other panels work as they should and react Enter correctly.

   OS: Mac OS 13.

2. Share for review don't show the correct link for the file

   1. I shared for review a number of files, each time creating a new link for each file
   2. Now when I open the files and click share it doesn't show the correct link for that file and I can't update the link.

3. Pfadwerkzeug

   Das Pfadwerkzeug funktioniert bei mir nicht,es kann nicht angeklickt werden da es grau ist, es funktioniert nur das Pfadwerkzeug Vertikal jedoch benötige ich das "normale" Pfadwerkzeug. Arbeite am Laptop.

6. Crash after moving complex artwork outside the artboard

   I'm testing the new release (27.2 on MacOS) before the whole company can safely move to the new environment. I basically can crash the whole software in a few seconds. What I need to do is:

   1) I need to open a big file - I've used files 23.5 MB, 43MB, 64.7 MB, 15.1MB (the files have been created in previous versions of Illustrator ).

   2) Turn on wire view in Illustrator (command + Y)

   3) select with lasso all points that are on the artboard

   4) switch to select tool (V)

   5) Start to move objects outside of the artboard. Within 1 to 10 moves Illustrator crashes.

   I'm going to test the same files on PC with Windows on both Illustrator 27.2 and 25 and I will share my observations with you

   PS I'm not using a Wacom tablet, I'm not using any tablet

7. Bug with the ' touch on AZERTY keyboard on AI 2024

   Hi ! I recently came upon a but while typing text with a French AZERTY keyboard. Indeed touching the ' (apostrophe) symbol instead writes a < or > when entered. I thought at first it was a font problem, but after trying a few different ones wondered if if wasn't a keyboard language problem, but then i tried on AI 2023 and had no problem typing my text correctly.

8. Can't resize anything

9. プロパティパネル等のテキストボックス内のテキストが切れる

   macOS11.6.8・Windows10Pro 21H2
   ver.27.5

   プロパティパネル等のテキストボックスに入力の際、テキストがボックス内に収まらず数値を確認しずらい。環境設定でUIスケールを小さくすると表示はましになるが、一部がテキストボックスのエッジにかかってしまう。UIスケールを大きくするとベースラインが大きくシフトし上部が３割程度隠れてしまう。

   再現手順
   1.ドキュメントを開く
   2.プロパティパネルを開き、ドキュメント上のオブジェクトを選択する。
   3.パネル内のテキストボックスの数値の上部または下部が切れて表示される。

   期待する結果
   各テキストボックス内の数値が切れずに表示される。

   現状
   テキストボックス内の数値が切れて表示される。

   これは、以前からの不具合でUIの設計が元々欧文フォントで行われ、ローカライズの際に日本語フォントに置き換えた際に日本語フォントに最適化されない事が原因ではないかと考えます。以下のコミュニティーページに参考になる情報があります。

11. Bug: Adobe Acrobat PDF fields are no longer retained in Illustrator file

    Adobe Acrobat PDF fields in a Illustrator PDF file should be retained upon save. Up to version 27.5, Illustrator did respect and retain PDF text fields, I started noticing the issue in Illustrator 27.6.1 and 27.7

    1. OS: macOS Ventura 13.4

    2. Affected AI versions: 27.6.1 and 27.7

    3. Steps to reproduce problem: Open an existing illustrator PDF file that has Acrobat PDF text fields embedded, make any change and then save the file. After re-opening the file, the Acrobat PDF text fields are no longer present.

    4. Expected results: Acrobat PDF text fields in a Illustrator file should be retained upon save. Up to version 27.5, Illustrator did respect and retain PDF text fields, I started noticing the issue in Illustrator 27.6.1 and 27.7

12. Smart Guides not working most of the time

    The Smart guides are not working correctly anymore. When trying to move or add an anchor point there are no smart guides to help align it. If I want use the object tool there are no guides while hovering unless a random object in my canvas is selected, then all of a suddeny smart guides work again. Once an object is created then it always has smart guides available when moving but not when trying to create it aka hovering with the object tool.

13. Classic 3D transformations not working

    Classic 3D Transforms are working but acting weird. I created a square and tried to do a classic 3D Isometric Top Transform and it kind of worked, but it was as though it was missing a big triangle out of the front corner. I expanded the object thinking that perhaps it was a display issue and even the expanded version has the missing piece.

14. 右クリック時のコンテクストメニューがズレる（クリック点を起点とぜず、離れた位置に表示される）

    Mac M2Pro(Mac14,12) , Ventura v13.4.1, Ai2023(27.6.1), 4Kモニタ(27inc,3200x1800表示)

    新規でAi2023(27.6.1)をインストールしたのち表題の現象が起きる。その他のバージョンのAIはインストールしていない。
    環境設定をリセットすると直るが、改めて環境を設定してしまうと同じ現象がおきる。環境設定内の何かしらの項目が悪さしてそうですが一つ一つは検証していません。
    27.7のアップデートが来ていましたのでアップデートしましたが変わらず。

    追加：Ai2023をアンインストールしてAi2022バージョンも試しに入れてみましたが、同じくなにかしら環境設定をしてしまうと設定クリアするまではズレたままです。

    OSシステムのディスプレイ設定で2560x1440に変更してみたりなど試しましたが改善しませんでした。

15. Wacom Driver Error

    There is a Wacom Driver error every time we open Illustrator, but there has never been a Wacom device on this new PC, and it is not enabled in Devices, It happens every time it is loaded. Support have removed and re-installed but the error persists.

16. Illustrator 2023 crashes when clicking the scroll bar in the font selection dialog

    Ever since I installed Illustrator 2023 the entire program will hang when using the mouse, trackpad or wacom pen to select the scroll bar in the font selection drop down menu

    Fonts can still be chosen using the cursor keys to navigate up and down. Previous versions of Illustrator are still working as expected so I haven't been able to track down a corrupt font.

    I have tried a uninstall/reinstall and resetting of preferences. Nothing seems to work.

    This is on an M1 Mac (but also has replicated on an Intel Macbook Pro both on MacOS Monterey.

17. Pencil Tool - unknown error - Illustrator 27.5

18. When a group of symbols is used as a key object, only one symbol gets the bold outline

    When you click an object to mark it as a key object for aligning, Ai draws a fat bold edge around it. Works fine, but not for a group of symbols. Need to be fixed.

19. Hitting Alt Makes Cursor Look/Feel Laggy and Slow

    This has been going on for MANY years/versions of Illustrator and I've seen many posts here about the issue but it's yet to be resolved or have any work arounds.

    All you have to do to replicate the bug is to hit alt (don't even need to hold it) and assuming you're on a high refresh rate monitor you will instantly feel input lag and see the cursor moving at what appears to be 30fps or less, until you left click with mouse, then it will go back to normal. When you hit ALT there should be no difference in the rendering of the mouse cursor. It should feel and look just as smooth as before you hit ALT.

    While this isn't a program breaking bug it's still annoying nonetheless. When you're used to moving the mouse at a certain speed and you hit alt to duplicate or whatever you want to do the mouse instantly feels off/slow and it really breaks down the smoothness of the program to me since ALT is a very critical hotkey.

    Please work on fixing this next update.

    This happens on newest version 28 and has happened on every version of illustrator as far back as I can remember over 8 years. Win 11 64 bit fully updated but again happened on Win 10 64 bit also. This is NOT an operating system specific issue. This is a bug within the Adobe Illustrator engine.

20. artwork moving when i select on my macbook pro 2023

    When I click to select artwork/objects on my 2023 macbook pro the artwork jumps position, I'm not dragging the artwork and didn't have the issue on earlier macbook (2017) or my 2019 imac. Makes working in illustator really awkward and is frustrating!
