Can't save or Save As on new file in Illustrator
Using latest Catalina and latest Illustrator. I have 2 files open. One is an existing file which has been changed. I hit Save, but the file name continues to show the asterisk indicating that it needs to be saved. The other file is new and has not yet been saved. I go to Save As, get the beachball for a few seconds, then nothing. I can't save the file. Save a Copy also fails.

Direct Selection tool does not work on text anchors....
For some reason I can no longer select text by anchor using the direct selection tool. If I use the Regular selection tool it acts as it did before the update but the direct selection tool does not.

SAVING ISSUES IN 24.0.3
Cmd + S does save but when you close it asks to save again. Is there a newer version available with this bug fixed? Are you already aware of this bug?
Can't see any available newer upgrades on Creative Cloud app for Illustrator yet. Currently on 24.0.3 which is the latest available.

Exporting to png creates corrupted png file.
I'm having an issue with corrupted png files that were exported from Illustrator. If I export from photoshop, it's fine. I have exported from Illustrator a bunch of times before, so not sure what the problem is and what to do to correct the problem. Seems like it started with the latest update, but I'm not totally sure of that. Before this issue started, exporting to png was very fast. Now it is very slow, sometimes crashes the app, and when I do get a file and try to upload it online I get a corrupted file message. Again, this…

Cannot copy/paste Chinese font into Illustrator. Show box with X in it
Cannot copy/paste Chinese font from PDF to Illustrator. Get squares with X's. Cannot change to a different font it defaults to MyriadPro. Also, I do not show Chinese under the Character drop-down.

windows 7 illustator v24 failed to save with new terms pop up box closing despite accepting.
I had a pop up today saying must accept new terms and conditions for people under business accounts/ team plans - which I am not but I clicked accept anyway. It said you couldnt keep using it if not.
The warning illustrator would close if closing the window I assumed meant if not accepting but nope - it closed - it gave me save dialog box cool i thought. except that the save out failed ive just got the part save .tmp file and my last lot of work all missing,

Workspaces can’t be switched, managed, or saved
NONE of my pallets/Windows opened into the application. When I try to switch to built-in or custom Workspaces, nothing changes. The Workspace STAYS selected as my previously-selected Workspace and none show up. If I manually go look at the Windows in the menu, none are open and I can MANUALLY open them and move them around... "Manage Workspaces" and "New Workspace" are disabled (Gray) and no matter what I do, I cannot change or override. I have quit/relaunched numerous times - same results.

Batching an action with variables works wrong
I have an action that:
- Selects "Next Data Set"
- Runs a recolour script to colour the artwork based on data set values
- Then "save as copy"
When it is run once it works as expected and saves the current data set as a copy PDF and advances to the next data set. When the action is run as a Batch Action the action goes nuts! It advances multiple data sets values and saves as a completely different data set name. This wouldn't really be an issue if I had 10 or 20 data sets, but I have over 1000 —…

Illustrator is changing my colors
I'm working on Interl(R) Core(TM) i7-8565U CPU, Windows 10 Family. Latest version of Illustrator.
I put the right colors on my Artwork on illustrator but as soon as I save it and reopen it, the colors changed. It stays in a dark green but it's never exactly the one I put in the first place.
Example: I put #336633, save it. When I reopen it, it has changed in #006633 or 336733 ot 316738 or 356633 or even 40683c or 789c4a

Guides are too thin and barely visible
Since the last update (23.0.4) guides are almost invisible, especially when using the document grid in combination.
This is only the case when GPU performance is on. When it's switched off, the guides appear as usual. In the previous Illustrator version this problem didn't exist...
The strange thing is: while dragging other guides, or making a rectangle selection with the Selection Tool, the guides become thicker again. But, when I release the mouse again, they become thin again.

Opacity issues with white
Opacities are not working correctly. When I have a shape with with a normal opacity set to a level below 100 and above another shape that is white. The white appears as a color underneath and it should not. it should be invisible. Also multiply effect is producing incorrect color values. Please see attached image.

Scatter Brush - Can't modify settings after initial setup

I'm running Adobe Illustrator 2020 24.0.0 on Windows 10.0There seems to be a bug with the Scatter Brush tool, which I've encountered in the past few releases.
The "OK" button in the Scatter Brush Settings dialog doesn't seem to work; clicking it doesn't update the brush to your new settings. Instead, the dialog remains open as if the OK button was disabled (or the click wasn't registered). Fit to artboard doesn’t includes stroke bounds
Fit to artboard does not fit lines to the artboard that are on the edges. So when you export to indesign the lines are missing of halved

Rasterize not working well on spot colors
I used to work in Illustrator cc 2019 and rasterize images with spot colors don't have any problem. Now in new illustrator I have a BIG problem rasterizing images with spot colors. Please see attachments. And please solve this, I have to work in both Illustrators because of this bug.

Can't place file on to artboard
- 10.14.6 and 24.0.2
- File > Place > Show Import Options > Place > Bug here... can not select multiple 'all' pages. Also, the fonts are not embedding from the placed file.
- Be able to have the option to select All or Individual Pages under Show Import Options.
- The selected page/s should be able to be inserted to the artboard with all links and fonts embedded.
