CC 2020 AI and InDesign Crashing and Freezing
Having major issues with both Illustrator and InDesign 2020.
For Illustrator, if I double click an AI file in a finder window it crashes 100% of the time on launch, which in turn deletes all recent docs from AI's start up menu. Things are a bit more stable when launching the app and then opening a file, but still seems to easily crash when doing a simple task such as electing the font dropdown menu (not even selecting a font).
InDesign is more troublesome. The program will frequently freeze even after opening a document that has a link that has…

DXF files on a Mac interpreted wrongly
I often have to import DXF drawing files of model glider plans. For a few years now, over several versions of Illustrator, I noticed that I am missing lines and solved the problem by selecting the missing and finding similar stroke weights, hoping it would find them all.
Today I had a discussion over Skype with a friend who runs Illustrator on a PC on which the plan files view perfectly correctly, so there appears to be a problem in the Mac Illustrator version. I have attached a pdf file showing the difference in display

update deleted new versions of files
I updated Illustrator to version 24.1.1 3 days ago. I've opened some files to discover that the most recent changes I made to them have been deleted and the version of the files are about a week old. I know I saved these files with new changes but those changes are no longer there. Is it possible to fix this bug and restore the previous files from before the update? I don't know what in the update triggered deleting these new changes.

Don’t ‘smooth’ a straight path when removing points
When removing a point on a straight line, don’t try to make a curve but keep the line straight.

To page view or workspace view rotate option
Ever try to work on a building drawing that's flopped 90° to the right because your overprice copy of Adobe Illustrator doesn't have the option to SIMPLY rotate the view?

Bottom of menu not visible when windows taskbar is located at the top of the screen
The bottom of large menus are not visible when the windows taskbar is located at the top of the screen.

⌘ + = Zooming Won't Work After Recent Update
Since the most recent update 24.0.3 a couple days ago, the keyboard command to zoom in ⌘ + =, no longer works on MacBook Pro 2017 running Catalina 10.15.3 (both internal keyboard and bluetooth). Seems to be an Adobe issue as colleagues in my office are also experiencing the same problem which requires us to now use the Zoom tool. Note: the ⌘ + - combo to zoom out still functions for some reason.

fonts files dissapeared on all current docs on one computer? Can't find any update
All my other files are fine, the current menu has missing fonts, but only on one computer (desktop) my laptop is fine.... all saved as PDF's in a dropbox

Extra "Object" title in Select menu
Under the Select menu, there's a submenu called "Object", which allows you to quickly select certain kinds of things. But, directly below that one is another menu choice also called "Object" which seems to have no function. This appears to be an error and should be removed.

24.0.2 BUGS
24.0.2 still crashes/hangs when you try to either close a window, print , or try to save.

Escape button missing text box
The Escape button does not work (is not there at all) on the touch bar on 24.0.3. When you are in tool-free mode, you cannot escape out of a text box any longer because the Esc button is missing completely now.

Adjustment of a gradient in Live Paint Bucket (K)
In Illustrator CC2019 the Adjustment of a gradient in Live Painting Bucket (K) does not work.
When in Live Painting Bucket (K) i apply the gradient, then i can not adjust it manually.38 votesHi Everyone,

Illustrator will now allows to change gradients of the Live Paint selections, using Gradient tool.
The annotator won’t show up when you do this, but you will see the changes immediately if you have GPU Preview and Real-Time Drawing and Editing options enabled in Preferences.

measurement imprecision
Is anybody else noticing that illustrator's precision is off? It's by extremely minute fractions of an inch, but it is still off...and proving extremely problematic while trying to make technical drawings for a medical device company. Close simply isn't good enough, guys. How can something like the fundamental math behind the program be off? I cannot be any more precise in my methodology, and a drawing that should've taken me 10 minutes has taken me 2+ hours. This NEVER used to be a problem.

Can't blend objects filled with gradient
For whatever reason, I cannot blend shapes that are filled with a gradient. I've tried everything. This has never been a problem before this 2020 update. I'm ripping my hair out.

Illustrator to Photoshop broken
I am trying to bring my Illustrator drawing into Photoshop. Exporting from Illustrator to PSD format is giving me errors so I am trying to copy from Illustrator and paste into Photoshop as Smart Objects. This was one big object that I pasted into Photoshop. In Photoshop it displays just that one object. When I open the Smart Object in Illustrator I get the full drawing. I'm not sure which program is at fault but starting with Illustrator since the export function is failing.

Artboard units do not follow what is set in preferences (v 24.0.3)
Set units to be in inches, but Paragraphs palette shows fields in points.
