  2. Mouse/Tablet issues when using Hej Stylus! in combination with Ai

    Operating system: macOS 10.15.6
    Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2 GB
    Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB
    Wacom Tablet, Intros Pro, or Cintiq 24 HD f.i.

    Broken: Ai CS6+

    Eilert from Hej Stylus! writing. Hej Stylus! is a tool that smoothes tablet output amongst other features.
    Hej Stylus! pulls live tablet event data and re-infuses altered events back into the macOS event stream using:

    CGEvent.tapCreate(tap: .cgSessionEventTap,
    place: .headInsertEventTap,
    options: .defaultTap,
    ...
    Using any of Hej Stylus!' position smoothing algos creates cursor issues in Ai - on tablet use only. Mouse is not affected.

    1)Kindly provide some video showing how in Illustrator issue is observed, Test file(Via File→Package) & elaborated steps with which you are facing issue and share with us at ShareWithAI@adobe.com .

  3. Copy Bezier pen behavior from After Effects

    In AE, we can hold down the alt/option key to instantly break smooth anchor points. In other words: Dragging a control point while alt/option is down, enables separate manipulation of the control point (breaking it).

    This is way more effective than selecting a separate tool. Maybe this can be added, since alt/option has no function at the momen. (and because in a suite - one would expect similar tools to work the same ;-)

  4. won't save

    Nothing happened when I clicked Save or Save as... The only way was to export for screen as a PDF and then relaunch.

  5. Vecter convert to raster?

    When i do clipping mask and saved to lower version to cs4, the vector turn to raster every time.

  6. Save for Web Preview

    This has bugged me for a very long time. When exporting, often the image looks like it will be missing a pixel width along the edge unless you increase the image size to go over the artboard vs. exactly fitting the artboard.
    I check the dimensions of the art and, for example, it's 1920x1080 perfectly aligned in the corner at x=0 and y=0, yet you can see the missing pixel along the left edge. And, if I export it, it indeed is missing the pixel.

  7. Transparency / Blending Modes stuck

    I experience regularly that Transparency and Blending modes doe not relfect what the controls / parameters say.

    An example in the screenshots: the Triangles with the green Gradient are Blending Mode Normal / 100% (have been transparent before, but switched back). On white everything seems normal, but as soon as the blue background is switched on, we see that the blending mode is not Normal. The selection is not part of a Group.

  8. Problem with new version (layer 'non-editable illustration) Illustrator 2021

    I was working with the new version but suddenly appeard a layer named 'non-editable illustration' a the program crashed. Is the second time that happened.
    But the first time the program didn't recover a single thing I was working on.

  10. AIX file opens as blank white square

    Working in Windows 10 Pro and Adobe Illustrator 24.3

    Hi, I've recently run into the issue of not being able to open AIX files in illustrator despite having logged in to ArcGIS Online. Now, when I open an AIX file I'm just given a blank white square without any of my layers. I haven't had this issue before, so I'm wondering what is causing it. Any help would be appreciated. File I'm trying to open is attached as well as a screen grab of what I'm seeing when I try to open it.

  12. windows crash when renaming files

    This was fixed in the last version but with the most recent update and is now a problem again. When I go to File > Open if I rename a file Illustrator crashes this is also happening in the Save As or Save if I rename a file.

  13. Pathfinder tool functions not working

    I am using Illustrator 2021, which just auto-updated, running on Windows 10.

    The Pathfinder tool's functions (Unite, Minus Front, Intersect, and Exclude) are not working just after Illustrator 2021 updated. The Intersect subfunction still produces a "The filter produced no results" error box, but none of the other functions do anything.

    In the attached image, the two ellipses are supposed to get merged into a lumpy shape, but they don't.

    Dear Adobe Creative Cloud helper,
    I have upgraded my software to version Illustrator 2021 via my Creative Cloud account on my iMac Pro (MacOS 10.15.7 Catalina). Everything was seemingly going right but, when I open my new Illustrator 2021, it quits out as soon as I move the mouse …
    I tried to uninstall and then install again but the same problem occurs. I can’t find out what is going wrong …

  17. Distribuisci Spaziatura non funziona con oggetto chiave

    Su MacOs 10.15.7 (19H2), l'opzione Distribuisci Spaziatura con una SPECIFICA DISTANZA trasforma i mm in punti.
    Se immetto una distanza di 30 mm tra gli oggetti, ad esempio, Illustrator allinea gli oggetti mantenendo una spaziatura di 10,583 mm (30 pt). 10 mm diventano 3,528 mm (10 pt), etc.

  18. Ghosting while object move not working in GPU mode?

    Singe Illustrator 25 there is no ghosting effect when moving objects. What have you done again Adobe?
    CPU is not working properly with iMac PRO(!) and GPU does not show basic feature?

  19. Illustrator crashes when saving as CC (legacy)

    1- MacOs Mojave 10.14.6, Illustrator 25.0
    2- I need to send a file to a friend with an older version of illustrator that can't update due to his operating system not being compatible with latest versions.
    3- I expect an illustrator CC compatible file to be saved.
    4- Illustrator suddenly crashes without warning.
