1. Restart every 1 min to fix a bug – Illustrator Font Panel Bug

   Adobe Illustrator always show the default font Myriad Pro no matter which typeface/font you are using. Also Fonts and weights that you are using disappear from the dropdown of the font.

   The only way of fixing it is to restart illustrator every 1 min.

2. AI from PDF keeps old thumbnail/preview

   I often get someone's source documentation in PDF.

   Yes, we should get source. No, it seems we can't get the soruce.

   So - I open the PDF in Illustrator and save the useful chunks - graphics mostly - as separate files in .ai format, pdf-compatable.

   For whatever reason, those docs usually will not preview correctly in Win Explorer or when browsing from ID to place as a graphic.

   It seems there's some preview/thumbnail info from the original PDF that lingers in the AI file - even though it was a multi-page file, and I'm only using a piece of it from a page in the middle.

   It seems that, because I opened the PDF and then saved it as AI, Illustrator doesn't clear out the old thumbnail info.

3. Problem syncing with CC Files on startup (sometimes!!)

   Well the title says it all, really!
   It looks like I have NO files in the cloud. But not all the time. Restarting Illustrator sometimes solves the problem.
   I reïnstalled the program, have the latest updates, etc...
   Maybe I overlook something?

4. Align to artboard not working for svgs added through File/Place

   I added an svg to use (with File/Place) and wanted it to be centered. After clicking to align to artboard and clicking the Horizintal Align Center button it never actually centers. It moves a bit each click until it stops working all together (almost parabolic as seen in the attached gif).

   Everything worked fine on objects created from within that file

5. Screen flashes with large slice in screen

   I am using Adobe Illustrator CC version 22.1. I open a new document, and no matter what the content, the screen flashes in and out and then a large triangle shaped slice appears in the screen. I cannot use Illustrator at this point. This program costs way too much money for this. Please see attached.

6. Font increase/decrease arrows in character panel immediately closes character panel

   Select text in an art board, when the character panel appears in the properties panel, and you then try and click/hold the text size arrows, they don't work and instantly close the character panel. Feels like a bug because I was able to use this workflow before to adjust the size of properly selected text.

7. Slow on iMac

   I have just bought a new iMac Retina 5K 27-inch (2017) with i5 3,4 processor, 16 gb of Ram, Raedon Pro 570 with 4 GB.

   Illustrator is very very slow... the files I have are simple vector only with no effects and simple paths. The files are local.

   I have a low spec 5 year old pc laptop, the files run better on that...
   Please help!

10. Outline mode does not work

    I have Illustrator CC, I have tried the work around of Ctrl+E then Ctrl+Y.
    Outline mode displays the lines but freeze and won’t allow the color to leave the image or the lines to be manipulated. I’m so fed up how could I possibly use this program professionally, i have looked up the work around and tried Ctrl+E followed by Ctrl+Y and have tried to access through view mode, still no joy. I have shut down and reopened files 8 times and started again three times on new art board. This problem has gone on for two days. I had the same problem last year an I found by leaving the screen for 10 minutes it occasionally appears to switch on. Please fix this it is totally unusable at present

11. Illustrator 2018 Version 22.1 Opening multiple-page PDF - Artboard Issue

    Opened multiple-paged PDF file to show all pages as artboards
    Saved file as PDF after editing (another name)
    Opened said PDF file and all pages as artboards show up as default

    I'm not able to choose if I want to work with a single page on this PDF anymore?

12. Computer restarted and I lost all unsaved work in Illustrator

    Usually I get some sort of message that tells me I have unsaved work that was recovered but this time I did not. Illustrator wasn't even showing the most recent files to open. Using Illustrator CC version 22.0.1

13. Exporting Issue

    Whenever I go to export a file, the exported image shows a non existent image/layer that is not in or showing on the document when open.

    The first image below shows what I export from illustrator, the second is what I screenshot inside the file, aka what I'm trying to have as the exported image.

    If anyone has a solution to this problem, it would be greatly appreciated if you can help out a guy with no ideas on how to fix it.

    Illustrator CC 22.1. To reproduce, create a rectangle with fill set to any radial gradient. Name the rectangle, open CSS Properties window. Observe the generated CSS:

    There are 3 problems here:

    1. On line 8 of the CSS (the legacy IE -ms-filter rule), the semicolon is inside the double quotes instead of outside, making it invalid.
    2. In the legacy IE "-ms-filter" and "filter" rules, lines 8 and 14, Style is misspelled as "Stlye".
    3. How would an alpha filter be equivalent to a radial gradient in legacy IE versions in the first place?

16. Shortcut cmd + ; = Hide Guides

    Instead of hiding guides, I get Preference window with Units. Is it because of the Danish keyboard? (I don't know how it works) How do I fix this?

17. Stroke circles are distransformed (Graphics Glitch)

    Some sizes of stroke circles are drawn perfect, some has distractions in four "edges" - how to solve this?

    Files atached.

    When I extract them as fill strokes, they are going normal, but I need to work with strokes.

18. "Place" Shortcut Now Remapped To "New From Template"

    2. Just minutes ago I posted that shift-command-N did nothing instead of opening a new document from my templates. This time I manually went to the file menu to achieve this. Then after opening my template, I needed to place a graphic and used the prescribed shortcut shift-command-P…
    3. And instead of opening the Place dialog box…
    4. NOW my computer is trying to open a new document from my templates. I have restarted Illustrator and this still is happening. I double checked my shortcut editor and the shortcuts are still set to adobe defaults.

19. file does not keep imported and applied paragraph styles after saving the file

    2. After applying imported paragraph styles, I can save the file, but when reopening the style effects have gone. Tried to erase the preferences etc. but it reappears not immediately, but after two or three steps for sure... What can I do?

20. Eydropper changes font when applying color from an image...

    When using the eyedropper to grab color from an image, and then place that color onto text (by holding down the ALT key). AI changes the font.
